researchwritingcenter: Payment Problems?

I heard that researchwritingcenter has some problems with payment.

Does anybody work with this company? Please reply.

Research writing center never defaults payments for the first two months, but soon you build trust with them and take up many orders, they start coming up with excuses, bad quality work, plagiarism without any proof.I assume they make up all this excuses to default payments. They owe me $1000 and never payed. My account was deactivated.

If you guys are reading out there, i need my payment, i deserve what i worked for.

If you need prove my complain i can paste here chats i have with their customer people, they barely write good English. So pissed!

All I know is that when I used to work with them, they were very good. I never experienced a payment problem.


Yes, their English isn't all that but they are terribly gracious and polite. Plus, they are honest in that they never claimed (as far as I know) to be American/British ...

Why don't you try sorting it out with them? Ring them up and discuss your concerns. The Researchwritingcenter I knew, listened to writers. I am not saying that you are wrong but just telling you to give it one more go ... if they owe you money, it is your right to claim it ...

OXbridge, i tried following up on the payment but claimed money compensated for bad quality work which they dont have proof of, the company used to be good until around December when Nina come in, she keeps posting threatening commends to writers.

When companies hire writers, despite their evident limitations, and compound their error by repeatedly assigning them work, they have no right to complain. They should never utter the Q(uality) word. These writers did their work to the best of their abilities and deserve to get paid.

RWC has definitely cheated you.

May I ask how much they were paying per page? Minimum and maximum?

the biggest Scam in writing Industry

Dear Writer and Customers

Please be aware that researchwritingcenter & custom writers is running the biggest scam in online writing industry. These companies have changed there policies to take all the money from writers and customer in the name of Office editors.

If Customer pay more than 36-dollar per page, and they only pay writer 3-6dollars max per page, then they fine writers huge amount of money due to reason known to them and they tell you that the order has been re-assigned to the office editor.

My con-sand is why don't they give these order to there office editor to work on them instead they wait writer to deliver and they find excuses to fine writers and they end up taking all the money from customers and writer. Is this the biggest Scam of all time???????

Yes, they're scams. They've been scams for years. Your first hint that they are scams should have been that they hired you.

Rusty/editor, you are not libelling an anonymous user. Ask your lawyer (if you can afford one) what that means. Now - should you doubt us, ask the mods how many writers and sites our lawyers took to task for libel.

Clean up your act.

I don't trawl for customers here, or cross handles. go pay your employees, and then check yourself into a mental health clinic. you can tell the nice doctors all about your big plans and your lawyers.

As for your earlier claim that you are a published writer, rusty/editor, that's just laughable. Unless, of course, it was a diary on the years you spent in a mental asylum :) ask your dr to up your meds a bit.

If the writers were smart, they really would join a union, since the exploitation and abuse in this "industry" are just out of control.

You have hit the nail on the head. They post just $ 3 dollars a page as fee and sometimes go up to $ 10 when desperate. After the job has been done, they deliver the paper to the customer and send a copy back to the writer, asking for revision on the basis of one excuse or another. Before the writer has had time to respond, they start applying successive fines until the amount turns to zero. Sometimes, the lateness fine is applied within a minute after the completed work has been submitted. The unwary writer keeps writing more papers in a bid and hope to increase the total, which on the contrary, keeps decreasing. Ultimately they succeed in getting papers done by other unsuspecting writers and keep their cheating processes the same. I warn clients of this company to stop using them as the cheaters take away your money without paying the writer. You are likely to be left in the lurch when no more writers are available to these fraudsters.

i do all the advertising. i pay the writer's room and board, including unlimited rice and top ramen on sundays. $2.50 per page is more than fair.

RWC is an American Writing Company based in Maine...with most of its traffic from Kenya. This should have a very good signal that you were headed to the dogs...

I have been writing with Researchwritingcenter.com or almost 10 months. 50 percent of the papers I have written have been reassigned to the editor and the rest have been significantly fined in the name of quality. Why should editor earn writers effort? And guess what no pay yet!. Anyway, I guess the company owners are self centered. They are more than a SCAM!.

Your writing is terrible. That could be a factor. Also, fraudulent, foreign companies tend to hire incompetent writers specifically to fine them.

RWC continues to hire writers out of the third world countries. They continue to underpay their writers. The writers never see a full payday in their writing careers the penalties, fines, and confiscated income are all part of their normal at that company. Since the writers are from the third world, they consider themselves lucky to even have such a poorly paying job. So they stick it out and just hope for the best when it comes to their salaries. They are always back paid, never caught up. These writers stay on only because they do not know better. They think slave labor is better than not having a job at all.

It would appear that the money problems of this particular writing company were not just rumors. There was a lot of truth to it since the writing company has officially gone offline. The server now redirects one to a page that simply states "Web". I have no idea what that means. It just took some time for them to finally run out of money and for the vicious cycle to catch up with them. I am just hoping that their writers somehow received their full or partial back-pay before they shut down for good. I do not know of any affiliate companies that they might be a part of so I am of the opinion that this shut-down means we will never hear from them under this domain name or another, anytime now or in the future.
