Without backlinks, their sites will fall lower in Google and other search engines, which means less business and fewer orders. The available projects that writers see when they log-in to essaywriters come from orders that students place at the commercial sites listed above.

Put pressure on their link partners/providers. Tell your story. For those who were truly vicitimised, assert your rights. There are a thousand and one ways to do it legally. Some people are not creative enough to think of ways to truly help others (I am not referring to you WB). As to the 'whys' I would prefer not to venture on that because it concerns motivation, affiliation, interest, preference, etc.

I decided (for a laugh) to sign up to essaywriters.net last October. I took a ridiculously priced $4 a page piece of work, used wikipedia for virtually all of the work, plaigarised to the hilt and forwarded it to them.

I received the massive some of $28 for an absolutely dreadful price of work that passed the plagiarism scanner lol

I didnt even bother collecting the fee which is still languishing in some paypal accout I have forgotten the details of. This was an experiment just to see how poor the site was at controlling the quality of the work done by the writers.

Let this be a warning to customers- some poor sod out there got my piece of crap cos the owners of the site didn't bother to check the quality before sending it to you.

I have never written for them since but it sure was a fun experiment.

No surprise there. They don't care about the client. If they did care, they wouldn't LIE to customers in the first place. It's all about the dirty money.

I can only hope they used it as a reference piece rather than submitted it as their own. Then again if they did submit it as their own they to are guilty of plagiarism and deserve to get a crap mark!!

There are 2 reasons I never collcted the fee

1) because the work was so bad it didn't warrant even such a small payment; and
2) I felt a touch bad for the customer but was unable to refund them as I am not privy to theri details.

Guys, i've been employed with essaywriters, and, yes, they failed to compensate me about $400. I would be very happy to make their life little more complicated, as i hate when my job isn't paid. Recently i was thinking about putting a complaint on them to a local tax department. For now i know the names of the owners, their local cell number, and i have my account in the system that can prove they employed me, and some of my friends also have such accounts. I've read posts by WritersBeware with their fake American adressess, but i suppose this info is of no use for Ukrainian tax department. Maybe there are people here who know the adress of their Kiev office, or some ukrainian writers who a better with our local tax legislation than i am who would like to help?

Well, I honestly didn't think I would have to join in against them. Perhaps, like many other writers out there, I simply could not understand the concept of 'scam.' I didn't see how that would be profitable. Not to pay writers, I could think of cases where that could happen. But not to pay good writers?! Not to pay those who bring customers back to their site? This one is beyond my comprehension. I simply cannot digest it. I already knew everything else. All of these companies start off with illegitimate claims related to location etc, experience in the field and so on. This is not the first time I've worked as a freelance writer, so I have plenty of experience in this respect. This would be acceptable as long as the services provided to the customers would be good and the writers would get paid. But to actually run a business where everything is so fake?! I can not even begin to remotely understand it. It's senseless, useless, absurd. It's a business so the profit is likely to be unequal. Ours vs. theirs. But this??

Anyway, I would like to add just one more thing. Like everyone else around here, I didn't receive my last payment for the same reason: QAD check. Normally, if I hadn't read all that you guys have to say about them, I would have probably continued writing and hoping. I would not have begun to suspect them otherwise, since I've never had these problems with the other essay companies. So your opinions and experiences do matter! Please write let others know!

Ok, my first experience with contacting a website that presumeably contained a back link was child.net. My virus checker immediately complained that the site contained malware - only I can't find the exact message in my scanner log. Sheesh.

Well, my personal experiences say that don't jump into an offer rightaway. A couple of months back, there was a call from someone who claimed herself a lawyer fighting against Essaywriters but became downright abusive when I mentioned that I'm letting the people a Essayscam know about her. The person appears to be legit. The email address is from turner.com (Time Warner), which owns CNN. A person using the same email address also [google.com/search?hl=en&safe=off&q=%22amintern%40turner.com%22] - investigated Sprint in 2007.
