Student Network Resources- DO NOT WORK OR DO ANYTHING WITH THEM

I wrote them Tuesday July 12th to find out why my orders were at -1, and the President of the company said it was because of customer complaints. I wrote him and said that I resolved them because I never heard back from them. He lied when he wrote back saying otherwise. I looked at the contract that I signed with the company, and the only way they can restrict a person's account is if they plagarize. Well, I don't do that because I am an author and would become furious if that was the case. In essence, SNR had nothing against me. As a result, I told Mark that his actions are fishy, and that I will investigate further. He said in return that he would repost all my orders (9 total), and that they would deduct the pay from me. I was forced to quit because of his innapropriate behavior, and it appeared that they were trying to get rid of me when I did absolutely nothing wrong. They owe me $309, and I want it back.

Customers can communicate with admin without you hearing about it. From your writing abilities, I am not at all surprised that you have customer complaints and that SNR will no longer work with you.

Also, from what you've described they owe you nothing--they reposted orders that you hadn't completed because your previous work and your current attitude both sucked.

First of all, the contract we sign with SNR says that we are not employees and that our work is always subject to their approval. You can terminate your work with them at will and without a stated reason and they can do the same. By your reasoning, the company could never drop lousy writers unless they actually plagiarize.

They're in the business of satisfying customers and if too many of yours have complained, it would be stupid to keep you. They probably had to issue refunds, partial refunds, or credit for future asignments to some of your customers and they were being as nice as possible to you by not simply deducting those amounts from your account. Chances are they lost money on some papers they paid you for without making a big deal of it.

I've been writing for them since 2003 and those of us whose work customers like have no problems with the company. Here's a news flash for you: If they reposted all of your orders, there was no need for you to "quit" because you were already gone as far as they were concerned. What did you think, that they would repost all your orders and then allow you to take more new orders?

Phelky and FreestyleWriter work as the team.

We're not a "team" but actually competitors for the same customer base. We're just the only two SNR writers who have always openly admitted here that we write for the company and use the same S/Ns here as our writer IDs on the company system.

This a response to the message posted by a freelance writer for Student Network Resources Inc., that goes by the initials of E.M.

Student Network ResourceThe writer was not an employee of Student Network Resources, she was a freelance writer contracted to complete various writing assignments for our company and clients. After various complaints by our customers regarding the quality of the work completed by E.M., we decided to terminate our work relationship with her, once she completed her remaining contracted work.

We informed E.M. of our decision via email and she responded back that she quit, wanted to be paid immediately and would not be finishing any of the remaining pending orders she was contractually obligated to complete. We responded informing her that if she did not complete the remaining orders we would have to pay other writers a higher rate to complete them, a cost which would be absorbed completely by her.

She did not respond to our email nor did she complete any of those pending orders. We have a solid reputation within our industry with both our writers and clients which can be easily verified. This individual is clearly upset because we did not retain her services based on the poor quality of her writing and her understanding of simple instructions.

It is apparent that E.M. is not satisfied with our decision as she has posted her fictitious complaint on various websites.

If any of the above information needs to be clarified, you can contact our supervisor Mark at mark@snrinfo.com. We have an email thread which clearly states all the facts mentioned in our rebuttal post.

she was contractually obligated to complete

I wonder when you already had received complaints from customers regarding the unsatisfactory writing by E.M., how plausible is it to have the same writer finish off with the remaining papers that she had agreed to complete?

Does it not simply mean you were compromising your quality? It tells much more about the real you.

In reality, I smell something else going on between the two of you i.e. E.M. and SNR.

As far as I can tell, all legitimate US-based companies (they also work with independent freelance writers only) would do the same. If writer fails to complete a project on time (or client cannot accept the project for some reason, eg. completed project is plagiarized or irrelevant), the project is made available to other writers who may or may not take it (if they decide to take it and the deadline is near they usually charge more). If project is not taken or client doesn't work to work with the company any more, a refund is issued to the client.

American contract law is very complicated. Please don't post inflammatory comments if you do not expertly understand the applicable laws.
