Are ukessays.co.uk and ukessay.co.uk (manuscriptservices.co.uk) the same?

I have just joined. I am a writer wanting to earn some extra money. There is nothing sinister behind my posting this question, I just thought someone on here might already know and would be kind enough to let me know so I'd save a few hours researching this myself.

I'd just like to know if ukessays.co.uk are the same company as ukessay.co.uk (which is also manuscriptservices.co.uk)?

Don't know about these people. But please do not write for Project1stclass/1stclassproject and don't go anywhere near Peter Richardson.

I have been reading, on here, all about the problems with that business/individual so would not write for them.

Still trying to get to the bottom of my original question if anyone can help.

My friend ordered an essay from ukessays and will never use them again. The work did not answer the question at all. In addition when she asked for amendments, ukessays replied to her email on the 7th day of the 7day amendment period which meant she could not review the work and couldn't ask them for a further amendment.

Avoid at all costs.
Dont be fooled by the fact they are featured in numerous papers. I have also heard if ukessays cannot find a postgraduate to undertake the work they offer the work to current undergraduates. A bit of a piss take considering she paid 600pounds for it.

You may get the occasional positive experience from them, but there are more honest sites out there where the owner doesnt brag about driving a ferrari.

Well she ordered the work in december and when she spoke to your customer service team, they claimed she should have been more specific on the order form. UKessays also claimed the essay was deemed satisfactory by an ''independant'' adjudicator. Its a disgrace considering she asked for a 1st class piece of work and in return received a piece which would probably barely pass. She has taken it up with the maneger Tony, and all he said was sorry but requests should have been made in the essential sources box blah blah blah.

If your friend has spoken to Tony and he has said that, then you have to appreciate that we operate our business with two sets of clients, writers and buyers.

If your friend wasn't in fact specific enough, then the writers can only work with the information that they have.

I had myself a very bad experience with UKessay.

The work was very very bad and i was treated very badly.

I would never use it again and would not recommend it for anyone.

but ukessay.co.uk is also called manuscriptservices.co.uk and also law-assignments.com it is so confusing is it fraude? please advice me dont want to throw my little money out of a window.

Yep. It is definitely a fraud. The reason they have so many other URL's is to throw the students off their track. Making it appear that they are not related to the questionable writing company by using a different company name every time. Do not be fooled. This is the oldest trick in the book.

@Cite, While I don't agree with UKessays T&C's 'only meant as a model answer' rubbish, they are a legally operating company within the UK.

UKEssays.co.uk is part of All Answers Ltd and had nothing to do with ukessay.co.uk. That site doesn't even exist now. Your crass statement could constitute libel as you have once again drawn from no evidence and typed complete nonsense to defame a random company.

While there certainly are some companies that do this as a mechanism for perpetrating fraud, there are also totally legitimate companies that do this for non-fraudulent reasons, such as in connection with their strategies for marketing to different kinds of clients and/or for promoting different types of services and different corresponding prices. For example, they might use one company name with the word "law" in it and another with the word "medical" simply because they think that customers searching for essays in those particular specialties are more likely to find them that way and/or might be more likely to use a company whose name includes one or the other specific area of apparent specialization than a company with a more general name that merely lists both Law and Medicine among its subject areas. I know nothing about the companies at issue in this thread; but, in principle, there's nothing necessarily fraudulent -- much less "definitely" fraudulent -- about every company that uses more than one company name.

@a1writer, I thought I would just let you know that I was able to access the true front page of the company using the url's provided here. I was really glad when I was able to get to the landing page and I eagerly clicked on the other pages to see where it would lead me (thinking my access problem had been resolved). Then, I encountered the same problem. The unbeatable ORANGE WARNING showed up again, preventing me from accessing the rest of the site. Sigh! Well, it was fun to go around the landing page anyway. As some would say, it was fun while it lasted.
