3 months, 40 hours per week, £10-£12/hour, in the office in London, sounds like a lot of liaising with clients/writers, some checking of submitted work, etc. Is this reasonable? Will I be paid? Will I be dealing with pissed-off clients/writers who are late getting their essays/pay/whatever, and burn out in two weeks? I can't afford to take this job, lose my benefits, and then lose the job / have to leave. I have no savings and have been out of work for a while. However, if this is a real opportunity, I can't afford not to take it.... Need to know latest by tonight, as am supposed to meet tomorrow.

Thanks very much!

Scholar MindAcademicMinds Legal and Reliable Entity?

Hi. Recently I have applied at academicminds.com.

Eventually I was asked to submit my credentials which I sent to them.

They've mentioned in the very first email that" We can offer you attractive rates up to 320 pounds per day, with very flexible working conditions".

Now as per their final procedure of selection process, they have asked me to write an essay of 1000 words which fall under my areas of expertise.

I want to know whether it is a genuine academic writing website or a scam? Please tell me something about it.

The website is academicminds.co.uk. They have alliance with the Oxbridge Research Group. I also don't know about it.

26 views but no body is replying. I want help?

I don't have any experience with either this company or its parent company, but a quick search on this forum brings up a lot of threads, from both a customer and writer viewpoint. Just type in "oxbridge" into the Search bar above and take a look. Most of the threads seem extremely negative in nature, but seeing as how I don't have any firsthand experience with the companies, I'm not going to say anything definitive one way or the other.

academicminds.co.uk claim they writers make a lot of money per day - is it true?

They have asserted that their prolific writers earn more than 320 GBP per day with premium quality of articles. Can anyone in the forum can endorse this statement?

It is a marketing strategy meant to woo writers. Then again, it depends on how hard a writer works and how fast he/she is.

However, if this is a real opportunity, I can't afford not to take it

In this industry, if it sounds too good to be true, then you can bet it is a smokescreen. I hope you did not take the job and lose the perfectly good real job that you had. Companies like these will offer you the moon and the stars, then treat you like they placed you on a rocket ship on a collision course with the sun. Do not fall for these empty promises. These companies are always scamming people to get them to work for them. Perfect bait and switch scam.

Based on the required qualifications for their writers, they will not come across some UK educated writers to hire. That is because their requirements indicate that they need to have writers of the highest academic level, who, if they are educated that well in the UK, will most certainly not be working for 3rd rate academic writing companies. They would not be mentoring any student from the UK based on a pittance of a salary. They would be working with legitimate companies within their educational training. It is best to not allow this company to deceive anybody into believing that it is a legitimate UK based company. It just isn't believable.
