UK essay writer forced to leave the UK. Where to relocate (Brazil / Argentina)?

Hello, everyone and fellow writers!

Relocated WriterI went to the UK to study at the university, hoping to get a job afterwards.

On one hand it was ok, I did manage to graduate with good grades and extend my Visa for 2 extra years.

On the other, because I was not able to find a full time job I would have to leave after those 2 years.

Immediately after university I started writing for several UK based companies (This is why this post is here).
At the moment I can fully support myself with my writing but the fact that I will leave the UK forces me to look for possible destinations.

The thing is that I have been thinking of going to South America. Currently, I can go to either Brazil or Argentina.

Has anyone been in this kind of situation? Have you got any thoughts, suggestions about that?

Thank you for your attention.

Have you considered Urugway too? If not, I'd probably go with Argentina.

Where are you originally from? Could you go back there? The advantage of the essay business is that you can do it anywhere there is an Internet connection. If I were you, I'd just find a pleasant, low-cost location and go for it. But it's hard to know where you'd be eligible to reside without knowing your citizenship.

Originally, I am from Europe but not from the EU zone. For this reason it is hard to stay in the UK. I can go back but I believe it will be a step backward because the whole idea with the university was to study and then work full time.

I thought of going to a different English speaking country like Australia or Canada. But, 1) I do not qualify for their residence 2) It is highly likely that I will face the same unemployment that I do in the UK.

The reason why I considered South America is that if you earn a particular sum of money in an activity that does not depend on your location then you can obtain a residence permit. The sum depends on the country but the principle remains the same.

And, again, if there are essay writers on this forum who obtained a 'Financier' Visa in Argentina or other South American country based on their writing activity please share your experience.

Thank you

I'm from the U.S., but when I did this work I lived in many different countries, including Argentina.

The beauty of this job is that, pre-pandemic, it offered the writer the luxury of traveling the world and working/writing when the person wanted to do so. I benefited from such a work arrangement in the past so I cannot understand why a person would want to tie himself down to one country in particular, when the work does not require it. Don't settle for a single country just for a residence permit. We live in the digital age and an address is no longer as important as it used to be.

Exactly. The OP should take advantage of the fact that he obtained his qualification from a British university. This will give him an instant advantage over other non-British educated writers. The UK university system is acknowledged as requiring some of the most rigorous and exacting academic standards in the world. My advice to students is to adhere to a writer educated in the UK. The OP should be able to post details of his qualification(s) including the name of the respective education establishments on his blog/profile or website as appropriate.

I wouldn't trust a writer who doesn't provide such details and is ambiguous about the type and standard of degree(s) obtained.

It appears that the OP did not pursue this interest. Perhaps he got a better job offer during the time that he was considering becoming an academic writer. Too bad. I believe he had the potential to actually help the UK based students even from his home country since he was UK educated and therefore, capable of passing on papers that would be on the proper academic level as the student needs.
