Quality Assurance Department.Maybe plagiarism was committed indeed?
Major,
Plagiarism was detected at the Works Cited page. Of course, citation in APA/MLA/Chicago by one writer may have similarities with another writer's citation. They may even have uniform citation. Is this an example of plagiarism? Is this a ground for termination and non-payment of salaries, or just a plain modus operandi?
I agree; if they were talking about the Works Cited page only it should not be classified as "plagiarism." Same for direct quotations. But you may refer to your job contract/agreement with them (if they have something like that).
Plagiarism issue in this case is more of a modus operandi of not paying the salaries already earned by the writers than a violation to a job contract/agreement. They have done this to many other writers. Besides that, no job contract/agreement was present for everything was made online.

This is what ESSAYWRITERS.NET does. This is how they increase their profit margin. I've read about it 100 times.
I challenge that people running ESSAYWRITERS.NET should get out of their shell and post online their credentials or evidences where they came or graduated from, for us to know if they really understood English language well or they are just pretending. This way we could decipher if they really understood what plagiarism is. Better yet if they are aware that they are essayscam/essayfraud experts. TO HELL WITH THEM!
that's essaywriters for you!

Pay Up You ********
Hi. New here. Wish I found out about this forum early on so I didn't have to waste my time with essaywriters.net
They owe me around 800! After paying me once, they rip me off by claiming plagiarism was detected in my work. The funny thing is, they can't spell PLAGIARISM correctly. They spell it as PLAGARIZM! lol.
It is their MO. I believe it is. I received the same message a few weeks ago. They said they "detected a large number..." but fail to give a copy of these findings to the writer. I'd ask which paper and which part of the paper was believed plagiarized but they give you no answer.
If plagiarism was indeed found then they ought to at least provide the writer with a copy of thier findings and allow the writer to clarify results of those findings. That would have been fair.
What is more, they should be doing these plagiarism checks before a paper reaches a client -- not when a client has already paid and has already obtained his or her grade! I had clients telling me they got A's and some B+. The bad thing is, those papers were cancelled by essaywriters -- because their system check says the paper was plagiarized! How bad is that? I always cite my sources. It's obvious that they earned the full amount of those papers already -- but they still take writers' compensations for those orders! They're terrible.
Ah, there were around 5 or 6 papers I did which were 1 page essays that required no citations and references. They were purely essays based on experience. But they too -- according to their plagiarism detector -- plagiarized!
Wow.
Terrible!

Why dont we file complaints! It has been said that these companies are not registered as corporations by the US and Canadian Governments--it is illegal to operate business claiming to be corporations when they are not. There are tax issues as well that they perhaps avoid.
It is also surprising why there is mystery over being protective in giving out the name/s of executive officers of the companies. I wonder why??
They exploit writers by not paying their salaries which they have already worked hard for. They themselves are ignorant of their own policies.
Let us join efforts and file complaints before the SEC of US sec.gov and Canada strategis.ic.gc.ca; domain by proxy; internet crime organization of the FBI.
By the way, domain by proxy management wrote me and asked that I send to them my complaint and evidence.
Let us agree on the time frame when to do it. Let us flood them with our complaints and constant follow ups. There are people who are exploited because they allow themselves to be exploited. Let us be vigilant and assertive in our rights. Let us all be tenacious. It doesn't cost much to do all these--if we keep silent, the cost on ourselves with be far too much!
has anyone had any dealings with essaywriters.co.uk? Its a nightmare trying to fins a reputable company!
Yikes! Their site essaywriters.net now says
This Account Has Been Suspended
Please contact the billing/support department as soon as possible.
Have they closed down?
WritersBeware
This Account Has Been Suspended
What I know for sure is that legitimate companies don't get suspended for any reason.
legitimate companies don't get suspended for any reason.
mmm? i bet, you're right..
one of their customer service operators said that they are experiencing technical problems.. the site is up and running again now..
WritersBeware
A suspension is not a "technical" problem. A suspension is enacted by the Web host or the registrar for a very specific reason, usually due to lack of payment or violation of TOS.
yep! i concur.. specifically with the non-payment issue (by implication)..
This is how they increase their profit margin.
Again, where is your proof... just because you say so doesn't meet the requirements of proof.
This is what ESSAYWRITERS.NET does. This is how they increase their profit margin. I've read about it 100 times.
The proof? Amy's "I've read about it 100 times" statement apparently refers to the numerous complaints of non-payment by essaywriters.net's writers who posted on this essayscam.org and other forums.
I don't remember exactly the context and I'm NOT going to read back through all that crap... but if I remember she was talking about the points she kept trying to pass off as facts that turned out not to be... Just because the same thing is shouted over and over again, it doesn't make it true. Not to mention those "100's" of times could have been from the same ten people... on forums such as this you simply can't trust what people are saying... especialy when it is as vocal as those were... which is why it is the right thing to do to demand that all information or claims made here are done so honestly... facts as facts, rumors as rumors and feelings as feelings. You can't tell when someone story about their encounter is true of false but at the very least, the honest ones tell you up front this is their story... Remember we couldn't even get Amy's story out of her? Why?
essaywritersvictim and phoenix, kindly update us if you're still unpaid by essaywriters.net.
Hi,
I have to post this, I was sceptical about essaywriters.net too, so I only did a few assignments totaling $60 and then I stopped working to see if I would get paid. I actually did get paid and on time.
Maybe the trick is not doing too much work? I actually also got a call to my house in Ecuador asking me to take a translation job as it had been the first translation job they had and was in my area. The girl spoke English with a French accent.
I don't want to say it's a legite company or that they didn't scam people but I just wanted to share my experience. I will try to write around $50 this month and see what happens.
Again, I'm not endorsing essaywriters.net so don't jump all over me, just sharing my experience.

I already posted this on another thread but thought it was worth repeating...

Now u can clearly c that it is 5th n they havent made the payment, secondly the previous payment that u think they have made as it seems never reached my bank account through bank wire :), n yet the system shows that they have made the payment, these b******* have a strategy, they make the payment for the very first time and show that they r very caring, when the writer starts taking more orders trusting them, they never pay n yes they do when ull keep a big order in ur box and will ask them to reassign if they dont make payment, watelse they do is that theyll keep on making u wait for a payment n then suddenly theyll shift the payment 2 or 3 months further saying that the order was refunded :D:D:D:D, plus they put fines in 100s of dollars, NEVER WORK FOR THEM OR TRUST THEM, they r the biggest cheaters in the business, thats y they have manyyyy orders in avaible list and no body picks them because they use this strategy n keep on hiring new writers time after time n then boycott them.............best of luck n do work at ur own risk with essaywriters.net SCAM....cheers
If you're expecting payment for your written English skills, I can see why there might be a problem.
Good grief.
hahaha, I second that!
If Essaywriters.net's standards are anywhere near yours, why did that company allow Ps2 to continue writing? They made him work on orders for 7 long months and he/she deserves no payment? If quality was the issue, they should have terminated the poor guy immediately. The thing is that they surely earned from at least part of the work done for those months, regardless of the language quality, because they scam customers. But scamming writers........... make them double scammers.
why did that company allow Ps2 to continue writing?
Why did Ps2 continue writing if s/he wasn't getting paid?
I'm not a writer but I think if I did some work and I didn't get paid for it then I wouldn't keep on working for the same company.
I've no idea if essaywriters.net are scammers or not. I've never used them. I do wonder why people keep writing for them though if they are experiencing such problems in getting paid.
what essaywriters.net does is strange they ask for $400 atleast inorder to have a bankwire free of cost....I worked for them and then they made the first bank wire....I was willing to have the bankwire because egold has invalidated its cards.....so when i recieved the payment for the first time I was happy n i continued working when I again made somewat $644 I asked for payment again and after 2 weeks the payment was made as the screen was suggesting so i decided to contact bank after 2 weeks of payment and the bank said no wire transfr is there, I was surprised and i really fought with them.....merely 1 month had passed and i had again made $909 (500 + 409), I did have another order of $620 in my account so I asked them to reassign that order if they dont make the payment and they immediately made payment to my paypal (i was affraid if they would not pay again so I created a paypal account), they made $909 payment but after that when I completed $620 order I never got payments for all the orders and so combining all the dues they own me more then $1700 ($644 <which i never recieved> +335 + 143+28+620 <claiming to be 500 after unusual fines> = $1770) which were never paid.....................Essaywriters.net r B*******
It appears here that it's essaywriters.net's MO to continuously hire new writers, make them trust the company by paying the first few orders, and then later on come up with excuses or ways not to pay.
Hello everyone,I joined Essaywriters.net towards the end of April, what I can't understand is that why would anyone work for free for seven months without requesting payment??
Paypal charges only $0.30 plus 2.9% per transaction,so Ps2 why didn't you ask essaywriters.net to to pay you by paypal, even if you say that paypal is not avaliable to you,essaywriter.net clearly says that payments to writers above $400 USD can be sent by wire transfer for free! So why did you not ask for your payment in February?
Well I'm waiting for my first payment of $16USD,essaywriters.net says that I should receive my payment by the 19th of May 2007,so lets see if they really do pay!!
Well I want to know if anyone has been paid by essaywriters.net?
Can you post your payment proof or send it to my email address "saifshah003@yahoo"?
Did anyone use Paypal as their method of receiving payment?
Cheers to all and have a nice day....Saif
hi saif......wat happened to me is something that happens to every1.....essaywriters.net paid me $466 for the first time through bankwire (i had gathered that money in 2 months), so i was very motivated and i worked and again made $640, sooner they said they made the payment but when i contacted my bank there was no payment made, it means that they r SCAM, theyll pay u for the first time and then afterwords they would never pay u again when ull work so much for them, meanwhile i was frustrated and i asked them to pay to paypal but that money was of no use, the banker said to me that if a payment is made on wrong details through bankwire it would go back to the same place it comes from and so i requested them to make the payment to my bankaccount which they refused as they knew that they r fraud......so if u work with them, then work at ur own risk, i also never cared about wat this site (essayscam.org) suggested to me at that time and i worked for essaywriters.net SCAM and did a work of merely $10,000 for them but they are not sincere n sooner i realised that all the ppl here r right against essaywriters.net SCAM, so b aware of this site or ull regret soon......regards n best of luck
Well I got my first payment of $16 from essaywriters.net just an hour ago.I'm not writing for them any more, not because I don't trust them but because I have my final exams coming up!! Well I'm to receive my next payment of $43USD from essaywriters.net by the 4th of next month!!
Ps2, my advise to you is to contact their HR representative, Mrs.Beth. She's given her email address in another thread so search this site and your sure to find it.
I hope you get your payment.
I plan to continue working for essaywriters.net but never to exceed $150,so even if they don't pay me,I won't be very upset!!
I have been writing for essay writers since Dec 2006. I had some difficulties at first but I made the situation for the company and myself worse after I read some of the posts on this website.
I'm still writing for them and havent had any problems or difficulties after my first payment.
I was paid by the company last night for the months of March and April. They havent deducted any of my payments and have paid the full 306$.
I apologize for the nasty posts I made earlier regarding essaywriters. I hope this relationship works well for the company and myself.
WritersBeware
How much they pay you for that?
I wouldnt sell my soul like that....
....and what if they've changed?
Ive seen how they've incorporated my idea on the website. I hate sifting through pages and pages of orders to find one pagers. So now it shows you all one pagers in one go!
I still dont know if I'm the only one who's been paid! but do you see how they are fewer negatives posts about them than before.
I'm not going to encourage anyone to write for them or not write. Judge them yourself and dont take into consideration my opinion or writersbeware's.
I'm obviously biased because I still work for them and writersbeware is biased because he's had a bad experience with them. So both of us shouldnt influence anyone's decision.
I still dont know if I'm the only one who's been paid! but do you see how they are fewer negatives posts about them than before.
maybe because they have much fewer writers. this forum appears to have taken its toll on the size of their writing pool. I say so because i got a call from them last march--the first time they actually contacted me--asking me to check out and work on the orders. that was also the time when i noticed the orders were being hardly taken. of course i elected not to work on any order because by that time, i was beginning to get tire of late payments, long normal waiting payment period and the prospect of actually not getting paid. they appear to pay some writers, at least. however, i' wonder whether they'd do the same without the noise this forum has been making.
Well.....to be honest Ive just heard that our actions r really frustrating essaywriters.net SCAM, i got the message from the HR manager and she was acting as if she doesnt know wat happened to me, i think if we all start creating noise against Essaywriters.net SCAM then sooner this site will loose the remaining business....cheers
I think we should further put in the mind of customers that the sites operated by essaywriters.net SCAM r also not genuine, they r operating BestEssays.com, SuperiorPapers.com, DissertationsExperts.com, RushEssays.com, BestTermPaper.com, Essay-Paper.net, UniversalResearch.net
to be fair, i want to stress that they did eventually pay me in full although there were considerable, sometimes nerve-wracking delays. if essaywriters.net wishes not to be accused of scamming its writers, it should really shape up payment processing and delivery and pay all of its writers each and every time.
as to whether the site scams customers, that's a rather different story.
Bunch of scammers :-(
I dont know about other sites but real SCAMS are.....BestEssays.com, SuperiorPapers.com, DissertationsExperts.com, RushEssays.com, BestTermPaper.com, Essay-Paper.net, UniversalResearch.net........never go to these sites either as a writer or specially as a customer.....regards
