Hello,
I've read awful reviews about "4writers", but these reviews are quite old....
Does anybody have recent experiences with them?
If so, could you give me a hint?
Cheers!

That doesn't sound like a scam at all. Many companies routinely delay their employees' pay by two months or more without any explanation, and expect these employees to keep working anyway. Perfectly standard.

ARE YOU RETARDED? I don't mean that as an insult, I actually want to know if you've been diagnosed with some sort of mental deficiency. I would sleep better knowing there was a medical reason for such stupidity.

Typing in 4writers.net + scam in Google brought up the following result:
<<<<<<

4writers.net is a scam, it has continued to cheat writers while reaping off money from them in the name of 'clients were refunded.' writers beware of this!!!>>>

while reaping off money from them

Your English is very good, but things like this (and "where ever" in another thread) make it clear that this isn't your native language, either.

Pheelyks, reread my post. Yeesh.

I wrote that I typed in the 4writers.net + scam in Google. I then shared one of the search results I found.

Hence the <<<< >>>.

If you cut & paste what you mistakenly thought I wrote into google, you will see I was quoting someone else.

I was kind of enjoying your posts, but I'm terribly amused that you are trying to paint me as
being a non Native speaker of English. I wish I was bi or trilingual.

I wish I was bi or trilingual.

I wish you knew how to use quotation marks ad post URLs to your sources.

Used a casual form of guillemets

Seeing as how what you were quoting was in English and not part of a program code, you were casually wrong to use them. It also makes no sense from an efficiency-minded point of view.

Writer Updated ReviewThe content of the web copy has been revised. Some promotions both for writers and students have been added.

The rip-off Ukrainian website has much more traffic from Kenya now. In the past it was Pakistan.

This might imply that they're paying even much less now to the Kenyan writers.

Traffic Analysis - past
Pakistan - 43.1%
India - 10.3
United States - 32.9

Traffic Analysis - present
Kenya - 76.3%
India - 8.5%
United States - 4.6%

Yes

It is true, 4writers.net ripped me off also for $3000, my 3 months salary from Jan,11 to Mar 11. They are thieves and never bother to answer salary queries.

I have been working with these guys for about 2 years now and I did not notice anything odd about their working and paying routines; I used to get my dues on timely manner but in the past 3 five months I have lost about 1000 USD. I think I know better, 4writer.net is a scam...in fact they are yet to pay their writers 10 days past the regular payday.

Well, duh. They hired you as a writer, didn't they?

I liked the way they treat writers. They don't call you in the middle of the night or check your papers for plagiarism...maybe a message informing you that your account has been penalized. I like them, they 'chargeback' from your account 8 months after you submitted a paper.

First of all, stop praising a scamming site on this forum.
All the reviews regarding this firm are negative because your bosses have been scamming writers. You should be advising your bosses to pay writes since they are suffering. We heard cases of writers not being paid since last year. Advice them also to seek for medical attention because it is apparent they are suffering from a mental disorder.

it is apparent they are suffering from a mental disorder.

They "suffer" from greed, and the moron writers they hire makes it easy for them to keep on "suffering."

check your papers for plagiarism

Someone who is praising a scam site writes this surprisingly comic sentence. For an essay writing company (specially a scam), it's impossible not to check papers for plagiarism. No one can dare to forward a paper without plagiarism check. The likelihood to find plagiarized content in a paper written by a writer who is waiting for their salary for months is manifold. Keep this in mind and think twice before you unmask the real you yourself. Lolz, how scholarly!

they 'chargeback' from your account 8 months after you submitted a paper

Very funny joke!

I was just ridiculing their evil practices, they took away with my cash and I don't give a hoot about their reputation anymore.

What goes around comes around. You cheat your customers, the company cheats you, eventually the company owner gets stabbed by a crazy Ukrainian hooker--it's the circle of life.

What goes around comes around

pheelyks, there is nothing going round here! I have a great reputation around there, in fact I had very many return customers during the two years I worked with them. Anyway, now that I know am not a freak I'd rather work as a Matador than be a 'respected writer' with the pathetic Ukrainian.

With the bull, at least you have a fighting chance. Ugly "sport," that, by the way.

I'm pretty much satisfied with the payment I get and work conditions at 4writers. I guess you would've been paid for all papers had they been ok in terms of grammar and content. Don't mean to insult anyone, it's just my point of view. I just don't get why you cannot accept an opinion different from your own. Your commitment to work ALWAYS pays off no matter what company your work for.

I do agree with you. Writers at 4writers get paid only for high quality work. In case you do not adhere to cmpany's rules and make an attempt to cheat the customer, you will be penalized for sure. So, working on own reputation and career is better than sitting and whining.

It depends on your preferences as compared to their terms. If you find them favorable, why won't you give it a try!!?

What I do know is that the company claims to be located somewhere in Wichita, Kansas. A complete and thorough investigation of the office address places it in the middle of a deserted street though. Such a confirmation of a bogus US address indicates that you should not trust the service, nor its writers. Everything about the company is fake. From the office address to the names of the writers. Hire them at your own risk.
