I'm Rose, and I've been providing excellence in academic editing for over 20 years. ChatGPT may be able to help you fix your grammar, but even then it's patchy and inconsistent. Artificial intelligence is years away from being able to assist with your complicated graduate-level project. It can't "think through" your work and help you shape your unique ideas and arguments. That still takes the human touch.
My own PhD is in the social sciences (sociology specifically), but I have worked on manuscripts in fields as diverse as psychology, English literature, history, business, education, economics, nursing, political science, and more. I am comfortable with both qualitative and quantitative work and have a real knack for clarifying even the most challenging and intricate concepts.

A WORD ABOUT EDITING
There are all sorts of skills and services that go into "editing." I price all projects on a case by case basis, according to the level of services you want and need.
At the most basic level there's proofreading. When you send a manuscript in for proofreading, it should be in its final form. My job is to read it closely for any typos or small mistakes you may have missed.
Next up, there's what we call "line editing." The goal of a line edit is to smooth out wording, line by line, to create the best sense and flow. Line editing generally does not include the reorganization of your points or arguments.
Finally, there's "developmental editing." This is the service most of my clients want and need. It entails taking your draft and shaping and reorganizing it as needed to ensure your arguments emerge as crisply and cleanly as possible. (Note that developmental editing does not include proofreading. That comes after you've accepted or rejected any changes and brought the manuscript to its final form!)
Graduate advisors don't always have the time or skill to make your writing shine. You deserve someone in your corner to help make your work the best it can be.
