I ordered a research paper from Academic Paper Editor. They charged me $175.

------------

Here is our conversation.

Hello Lena!

Please do not threaten us, this is a business relationship and we need to behave professionally.

I didn't say that he wrote from what he already knew, but that after he wrote about (AND CITED) a fact, he added evaluation, that is informed opinion about what he had read. Any good paper will include this, which is why I also said that the tutor did not understand how citations work.

I am sorry, but we are being fair -- we promise that papers that don't meet a passing level criteria will be refunded, if you look at our Web site it is quite clear. We have delivered exactly what we promised. Please note our papers are for research purposes only and yOu may not submit them as your own.

I've made two reasonable and fair offers in spite of the fact that WE HAVE MET OUR OBLIGATIONS AND PROMISES as a means of being decent and professional. Your response to those offers was to threaten the company. If you can not maintain a professional demeanor then I think it is best that we end the discussion.

Again, I've made two offers, if either are of interest to you, please advise.

Thank you.

Sincerely,

Martha, Academic Paper Editors

Hi Martha, thank you that you agreed with me that the paper could have been more thoroughly cited. That is exactly what i asked for,i asked for the paper to be thoughtfully cited, because that is what my tutor asked us to do.When i sent you people the request i asked for every place to be cited because that is what my tutor wanted us to do,so i expected you people to give me what i asked for, You are saying he wrote some portion from what he already know about Nelson Mandela,i didn't asked for his openion,i asked you people to use sources and cite the sources, that is why it is called a research paper.you people said you don't have prices on your website because you charge according to what customers asked for,so when i got the price even though it was too much,i didn't mind and agreed to pay for it because i thought i was going to get what i asked for, which i didn't,and i just want you people to be fair with me if only you are genuine and not scammers and give me my money back. This paper caused me a lot disgrace.I was the only person in the class that didn't cite all my sources,so my tutor stood in front of the whole class and said i didn't cite all my sources because i plagiarize my paper and i didn't want him to trace it and said he gave me the C not because the paper was up to a C standard but because i'm a punctual student who always come to class and always on time.My grader is an English professor who is been teaching english for twenty two years,so he knows what he is looking forin research paper, and that was what i asked from you people,so don't say the grader don't understand citation very well. The paper that Sean wrote was not well cited and was not in MLA style (which i asked for), that is a fact. You also said you only give refund to a failed paper and not a C? there is no difference between my paper and a failed paper. A screwed paper that almost got me expelled from the cause is not different from a failed paper. I just want my money back because i didn't get what i paid and asked for. The harm has already been done and i cannot resubmit it because my tutor don't accept that, and i don't need a 10% off on my next purchase because if i don't get my money back,i'm not doing business with you people anymore, and i'm going to take you people to essay fraud, and make sure i go there EVERY SINGLE DAY and tell other students about you people not to waste their money like i did, because i worked hard for my money and i know they probably do too.We are just students trying to make it, and that doesn't mean that you people should take advantage of us.And i will tell you this,it will save you a lot of money if you give me my money back because the number of customers you are going to lose through me is not worth that $175.00.Just do the right thing and give me my money back. Why do you think walmart and other businesses treat their customers good?because they want to keep them and get more customers.Just one customer can mess your business up,and that is EXACTLY what is going to happen with me if you won't e fair and give me my money back.If you don't want to give refund, give your customers what they asked for.I'm waiting to hear from you.

Hello Lena!

I've received and reviewed your faxed paper. Initially, your instructor is correct and the paper could have been more thoroughly cited. HOWEVER, many of the places where the tutor requests a source are in fact places where the writer of the paper is giving either an opinion or a fact that would be commonly known to anyone who knew who Nelson Mandela was. In other words, I'm afraid your grader doesn't understand citations very well. Perhaps he is a TA or other kind of student assistant?

Lastly because the paper met a college level criteria I can not offer a refund. Refunds are only available on papers that failed to meet such criteria. However, I can offer you a free edit of the existing paper -- Sean could make the requested changes requested. OR I can offer you a coupon for 10% off your next purchase from the Academic Paper Editor.

Please advise as to which option you prefer.

Sincerely,

Martha, Academic Paper Editors

So you people are not going to reply the mail i sent to you this morning? When i was about to order the essay, you reply immediately anytime i sent you mails, now that you got my $175.00 and didn't do what i asked you to do which caused me to get a low grade, and i'm asking for my money back and now you don't want to reply me.Are you people scammers or what? Please and please let me have my money back otherwise i'm going to take you Guys to essay fraud. I will make sure i go there every day and write about you people and let them know you are scammers.I just want you people to be fair with me,i did'nt get what i paid for so let me have my money back,i'm not asking for too much.Just look at the essay below and you will see that it is not well cited.I asked for MLA style, this essay in not in MLA style so please give me my money.I'm waiting to hear from you people.

Judging by your very poor writing skills (from your emails) it seems hard to believe you would be able to write this paper. Did you submit it as your own without proper referencing?

I'm not sure why they refunded your money, did they provide a reason?

Hmm...gathering from the inference by Martha in a reply to you, I would guess that the refund was issued because the paper failed to produce a passing grade.

I've been doing business with Academic Paper Editors (PE) for a little over a year now and I have never had a major issue. Is it a perfect service? No! Have problems arisen? Yes!

Editor Printer MachineFor the most part, all the papers I have received from Academic Paper Editors have been anywhere between good to great. Some required editing to meet the demanding nature of a professor, and some have been of a quality far surpassing my expectations. Over the year I have learned a few tricks that can easily apply to any writing service.

(1) Place some lead time in your deadline. Don't require a due date that is actually the night before your paper is due. This will not provide sufficient time if there is a problem with the paper or if the paper is late. I typically require my ordered paper one week before the actual due date. This allows extra time if the delivery is late (mail servers do sometimes fail to deliver email in a timely manner), if there is a problem with my paper, or if I need to edit a paper in accordance with the original requirements or to make it match my writing style (good professors can tell the difference).

(2) Be extremely forthcoming in providing the writer ALL the requirements, notes, and supporting information you can. I have been known to inundate some of the writers with comments and material BEFORE the paper is written. This avoids misunderstandings and increases the chances that the paper will be delivered near perfect for your intended use. In the past, I have received a paper or two that did not meet my specifications; however thanks to the padded time I built into the project, PE has always rewritten the paper to meet those specifications without charge. These have been instances in which I had provided the requirement beforehand and it had gone either unnoticed or overlooked.

Having said that, there are a few things PE could do to make it a much better service. There is no quality control before the paper is delivered. You place your order, PE brokers the assignment to a writer, the writer sends the paper to you directly without review or checking by PE to make sure it meets specifications. A pet peeve is that whenever I order a paper in APA format, the margins are always wrong, which in effect "cheats" me out of a few pages (depending on the length of the paper). Apparently the only review occurs when you voice a concern after receipt. As far as I know, this is the only time PE and the writer sit down and match requirements with the paper.

One last point I would like to make. The paper stands on its own. You order the paper, receive the paper and read it before turning it in. It may very well be an excellent paper as far as you and the writer are concerned, BUT neither of you are assigning the grade. It all boils down to what the professor thinks of the paper, which is simply impossible to predict.

Case in point, I have been having an extremely rough time with one class and have had two writers from PE working on different segments. One track consistently received higher grades and praise than the other. Thinking that one writer may be connecting with the teacher a bit better than the other, I tried switching writers and tracks. The writer who received higher grades (track 1) actually received the same lower grade and same criticisms as the other writer (track 2) and vice versa. The moral is simply that sometimes, regardless of the quality of work that is submitted and who writes it, some teachers will never be satisfied or happy with it.
