I am working on my personal statement (and studying for exams), and hence have no time to write the supplemental essays. I shall be applying to some of the top US schools for admission in fall.

As for your question, international student, recommendations aren't allowed. Plus, you really should not trust any who recommend any site here - chances are that they are recommending their own sites/sites they work for.

Unfortnately, they're pretty strict around here about that and we're not allowed to mention any sites positively or to give out our contact information, but it shouldn't really be too hard to figure out by going through some older threads. All the sites that use me are 100% legit (as am I as an independent freelancer). Then again, that's obviously what all the scam sites and phony writers would say, too. Good luck in your search.

At the end of the day, this is about as solid an answer as you're likely to get. As for alternate strategies, I'm new here, too. But I might suggest reading through a few threads and trying to keep an eye out for (a) posters who seem to behave in an honest and straightforward way, trying to compete fairly and refraining from attacking or defaming other folks on the site; and (b) posters who do the opposite of that. Then I might try contacting a few of the folks that strike you as honest.

It's not a perfect method, but it at least gives you a start. Good luck!

Agreed. Also use the search function to check their long-term posting history by user name. Make sure to change the default setting from searching just thread titles to searching the entire content of posts.

Both non quality writing companies. They do not do much for their students other than cut and paste jobs, which means any paper they submit would fail the plagiarism test. After sales service is also non existent. They do bother to ask the writers to fix the paper, but that is done within a 24 hour basis, which, by then, makes it too late for the student to submit the paper. Both companies just want the money, but could care less about client satisfaction.

The only active company from the list previously provided is Custom Paper. I assume that is the more responsible of the 3 writing companies? The other 2 companies are officially offline using their listed domain names. Or, we can hope that they are officially offline. I keep forgetting that these companies can just let their domains expire, change servers, then get a new domain name and server to get back into the business. Same bad service, same crappy writers.
