Hi nehal,

Who pays you for acting as a defense counsel for all scam companies? Why can't you gather enough evidence before questioning the victims of these scam companies. Hi WritersBeware, I think it is high time we send nehal and his collaborators out of this forum.

I have been reading the debate regarding Joe Boll and the essay agency, with both interest and trepidation.

I am a writer and have written several essays for the essay agency, and my point of contact at the time were: Ashlee, Joe Boll and Maxine. Joe was dealing with the financial side and I was told by Ashlee on several occasions that he was the boss.

I am owed just under a £800, which is now four months overdue. My phone messages were not being returned and my emails were ignored. I now find that the phone number which is listed on the website is disconnected.

These are the facts for everyone who is arguing about proof and evidence etc.

Here is one further fact. It appears from this forum that I was not the only one who was not paid for my work - there are at lease six others.

Joe Boll, I talked to you on several occassions when you assured me that payment was being posted out to me but never was, if you are reading this and feel tempted to tell me that my work was not of the required standard as you did your other writer, please don't - I never heard any complaints at the time.

Ashlee - I dealt with you with integrity and and felt at the time that you reciprocated. If you are caught up in this inadvertantly, then call me, you have my number.

Maxine - you too pretended that payment had gone out, knowing full well that it hadn't.

For anyone else who feels the need to dispute this, challnge it or take up on behalf of Joe Boll or the eassay agency, please don't waste your time. These are the facts as they happened to me. I wouldn't waste my time posting this otherwise.

I am also a writer and used to write for the essay agency. I also owe money to the essay agency significantly more than you owe. Honestly speaking, I was impressed by the working, cooperation and behaviour of Joe Boll. I think he is in some financial trouble. I hope he will come out of the trouble soon. I asked him if he could require my help but he did not respond. Of course, he wanted to tackle his problems on his own.

Joe was such a considerate person that he used to leave his office on my request, go to my bank, and personally deposit to my account whenever I was in dire need of money. It would happen when I used to request him to shorten the formal procedure of bank to bank transfer that used to take 3 to 4 days, as mine bank was different from his.

I again wrote another assignment on his request in the last month, if I remember exactly the time, despite closure of the essay agency.

I am no one to speak on his behalf but what I should say to you is that just wait for some more time, he will be back to you.

I have also recently written 4 essays for essay writing agency and have not been paid. I am about to start proceedings in the small claims court against the company and have written to them informing them of this.

I have been promised 3 times already that I was going to be paid, It is nonsense to argue that he is having financial problems and therefore cannot pay his writers as he is obviously taking money from the clients which is obviously more than he pays his writers so there is absolutely no reaon why he cannot pay those who have done the work requested.

I will post on here the outcome of whether I have to take full court action against this company to get my money. As a qualified barrister it may well be that Joe has chosen the wrong person to try and rip off in this way

I will also be taking action against the essay agency (Joe Boll), he only owes me £180 but I will be taking it to a small claims court, I am confident that I will win the case seeing as there is so much evidence against this man and the company's he sets up!

I am owed £1800 By the essayagency, I was a customer and stupidly engaged them through Joe Boll personally to do a large piece of research in double quick time...

apparently my writer's father had a 'hart attack' Joe's spelling isn't the best bless him, if there was a real writer who that happened to then I'm sorry for him, but the work was never delivered and the promised refund never came.

I'm taking this to court too and I've got the police involved, I'm taking Mr Boll down if it's the last thing I do.

One point is Bristol Trading Standards would like more people to come forward to build a case against him so people should drop them a line 08454 040 506

It's interesting to me that there are writers who have worked for him, I thought the whole thing was a scam, but he obviously steels from them too... how can he keep getting away with it!??

Oh that's the same number, I've already spoken to them, I quote Joe Boll:

"My sincere apologise"

ha ha, he actually wrote that when he promised my refund, I wonder which of his writers he got to write his posts on here for him? They seemed quite legible

professional essay writing is probably a scam site, it is run by Joe Boll the criminal, professional essay writing should not be used,
avoid it.

Don't touch these companies they are SCAMS!

I know from personal experience that Essayagency.com steal from people.. I can't say the same about the new site although I suspect Essayagency is now shut down and the operation simply transferred. if I've overstepped a line please edit accordingly WritersBeware

£180 paid for an essay last month and no sign of it arriving. Have sent a couple of emails asking for an update and have received nothing. Should have googled the name EssayAgency before placing order. No chance I will see the £180 or the essay I am due...........

I am sueing the essay agency using a small claims court online moneyclaim.gov.uk, I suggest other people should do the same, I have provided the essay agencys details along with joe Bolls address Joe Boll Second Floor Flat 11 Windsor Terrace

The Essay Agency and Joe Boll owe me over £1000 for essays that I wrote for them last May/ June. I have been reticent to take it further but seeing as others are taking legal action I'm now ready to do the same.

Could we make this a joint effort? If we all share our knowledge of the small claims procedure perhaps we can make some progress more quickly. Has anyone had any success already?

I plan to:

1. Register a small claim at moneyclaim.gov.uk. For this you need full details of the claim, including invoices, as well as an address for Joe Boll, which I'm assuming is Joe Boll Second Floor Flat 11 Windsor Terrace, Bristol, BS8 4LW.

2. Call Bristol Trading Standards on 08454 040 506 as suggested above.

Hi Tomfbh, Joe Boll has replied to my money claim using moneyclaim.gov.uk, he filled out the claim form and admits that he owes the money, I will just have to wait and see if he actually sends it.

That's great news. I would really appreciate you letting us know if you're successful. Presumably he will have to pay your claiming costs as well?

I received a reply today from Joe Boll saying that he will pay me half of the money he owes me, out of court, in £100 installments and that this is "the best he can do at present".

I don't think this is good enough, and it doesn't offer me any insurance that he'll actually pay, so I still plan to take it through moneyclaim.gov.uk . That way the government can extract the money from him on my behalf, and they can always use bailiffs.

I would like to encourage everyone to continue with their cases and get the money they are owed.

I can confirm the Essay Agency stopped trading last year and I am not associated with any other essay companies.

Their are a few people about 8 in all who might be owed money for essays not delivered or work that has been unpaid if you are one of these people please do not hesitate to contact me so we can come to a suitable arrangement.

you owe me £300 for 2 essays that I wrote for you! I gave up my birthday to stay in on all weekend to write them at short notice and then you never paid! This was on December 15th 2006!!

You then promised to pay me in 5 installments of £60 over April 2007, but you did not.

The strange (or not so strange) thing is that you asked me to do the work and went through all of that without once mentioning how you would pay me or for my bank details. One can only assume that this is because you NEVER intended to pay me!

Well despite Joe's promise to pay I am still waiting so I guess it was just hot air on his part

I was recommended to use the Essay Agency however they dont seem to be replying to my mails, are they out of business now? I am shocked by the bad press that they have received on here, any ideas?

Essay Agency = proven fraud
