Anyone have information on The Essay Agency?

I did a whois.net/whois_new.cgi?d=essayagency&tld=com and found it is run by someone called Joe Boll.

A search on "Joe Boll" reveals this BBC news story:
news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/bristol/4118667.stm

Admittedly, they may not be the same person, but both the "Joseph Boll" in the BBC story and The Essay Agency are based in Clifton, Bristol. A quick search also reveals the Clifton area has a BS8 postal code.

Plus, I had email contact with this man (he signed off "Joe"). I had emailed asking for the price of a MSc level text. Yet he responded by quoting me an undergraduate price from his website.

Thank you for your interest in the essay agency. If I may be permitted to make a couple of points. Due to the amount of posts on this site by your selves, you clearly work for a rival company. It would be nice if you were actually a customer commenting on the Essay Agency, and by your terminology of the word 'felon' you clearly are NOT British, which means you would have little to no use of a British essay writing service.

In regard to my conviction, yes this is correct. In 2003 I was a director of a telecoms company which unwittingly breached the Trades Descriptions Act and I was fined accordingly. Please note this was 4 years ago and in no way has any reflection on the Essay Agency.

I understand the pionts made may put off potential customers, so I'd like to make these points : the essay agency can be contacted via telephone (number on website) during office hours. We supply approx 2500 essays a year and it is worth noting that there isn't a single complaint from a customer on 'essayscam'.

As a sign of good will to potential customers who might be concerned, I would be delighted to offer a reasonable discount should you try our service. Simply quote 'essayscam' when you place an order or call into the office.

It is nice to have a straightforward post from an essay company. I hope that someone takes you up on your offer; I would do so but I'm all essayed out for this academic year.

Just one point (what Ratty might call a pet peeve): it is worth composing in software that has a typo / spell check facility and then copying and pasting onto the forum. This just makes posts more easily readable.

PS What is it about premium rate phone lines in the UK - they're never out of the news at the moment!

I was looking for information about Joe Boll and Essay Agency on the internet and found this website. Anyway, as I posted before this is a fraud company and Joe Boll obviously is owing alot of people' money. I am owed 320 pounds as well and it has been 2 months since then. Bear in mind that Mr Joseph Boll was found guilty as the "fraudster who masterminded a £2m premium phone line scam, distributing thousands of scratchcards and letters telling people they had won a luxury prize, was yesterday ordered to do 200 hours of community service". Hi guys, I was gonna contact the Watchdog of BBC.co.uk to complain about Essay Agency and Joe Boll but I got to be out of the country for quite a while. If anyone of you has time, please access the Watch Dog and tell them about what happened to us. They'll investigate this case and we'll definitely benefit from that. You asked me about the counter evidence. That is, my experience with essay agency is quite the opposite what you are describing. I think I must defend the essay agency. A lot of harm has been happened to it because of the malicious propaganda by the people like you. You may allow me to say that you are maligning the essay agency and have been tarnishing its image in the public eye. Go for it! I hate to be the one to break this to you, but you can't successfully sue someone for stating facts.

In order to file a lawsuit and not fall victim to a substantial counterclaim, you need to do two things:

1. Prove that what I have stated about EssayAgency's record of poor service is completely false;

2. Prove that your friend, Mr. Boll, has no criminal record.

The URL you have given reveal only messages poste by six persons (tima1983, jjmarr, rav_London, moonlighthaze, celticless, and LawrenceOfArabia). To that effect where stand your claim of 'numersous' complaints against the essay agency?

Secondly, all of these six hid their name and contact numbers/address to verify the authenticity of their claims. Why it is so? Had they been genuine they should reveal who they are? Apparently, these are fictitous names to malign the essay agency. Isn't it?

Thirdly, even if it is acknowledged that these six are the genuine people to file complains, why don't you consider that out of hundreds who get their work done only six are dissatisfied? In other words, this is very low percentage, perhaps, the complaint ratio would be less than 1%. Had the number of complaints been in hundreds validating the word 'numerous,' I would have believed in your words.

Fourthly, you are needlessly banking on the statements given by other six people. That might be their experience, not yours. I think you need to be told that the word 'experience' is not meant for the purpose you have been using. You can say that it is your 'observation' based on the experience of others that you are hell bent upon to issue statements against the essay agency.

Fourthly, Joe Boll and the essay agency are not one person: both are different. No news item has been published that Joe Boll cannot write an essay or write faulty essays. These essays are written by writers and not by Joe Boll. Joe Boll is basically a middle man. If Joe Boll is such a wrong person, you need to speak to the telephone company as to why did it provide a line telephone to him to establish his credibility after such an offense?

It is my "experience" in reading about essayagency.com that Joe Boll, the owner, is a convicted criminal, and 6 different people in this forum alone have been deprived of payment. He has not come here to defend himself against those charges, so why should anyone assume that he has a legitimate defense against all 6 of those people?
