Hello everyone,

I need help with an assignment and I have thought about using an essay writing website. However, after reading all the horrible stories on this forum and on other sites too... I am quiet scared!

Could you please tell me if you have ever used/heard from geniuswriter.com[DND*]? Or if there is any DECENT reliable website/writer that you have used and worked?

I recently joined....so I would really appreciate any feedback :)

Cheers!

If you're going to insist on trying to offer your services as a writer here, you might at least try writing in complete sentences.

Hiya

Do they have a visible phone number? It might be worth giving them a call and having chat about their services?

Genius StudentYes, I have heard of this company. It is part of the same group as the following:

mirdita.net
tjhcomputers
oddboulder.comechte-tests.comgo-by-coach.
uksystem.falconwriters
signaware.commail
tinyrocketgames
helpwithtrees

All of these site names resolve to the same IP address. They claim to be a company located in the UK but I strongly doubt that. It appears to me that they are running quite a scam here with all of their "umbrella" companies. As such, I do not believe that you should trust them with your money. They are not running a proper academic writing service and most likely do not have any actual writers on staff. That means all you will get from them are cut and paste works from papers that can be readily found online. It would be best if you simply engage the services of a private writer in order to avoid possible complications with your paper and submission time. There is absolutely no way that you can trust anything that their company rep will be saying. It is definitely a scam.

I know nothing about them, but if any of that is true, it's a perfect example of why you can't necessarily judge an essay company just by the quality of its website. The website looks great and even its web copy (at least the one part that I checked) seems to be written in grammatically-correct English (for a change).

You are correct. The company is owned by Drew and Gregories Ltd. While the company lists a London address and is registered under the same London address, the company has one officer (director) whose nationality is Kenya. The same person is listed under "other persons with significant control." However, when looking at the most recent corporate filings, the director's last name is different. The corporate name lists itself as a website developer and links to another company that provides everything from CVs to ghostwriting and publishing ebooks. The umbrella is quite large with this one--too large for comfort. For those considering any of "Drew and Gregories Ltd." services, I'd be very careful. Based on their corporate reports, they reported a significant loss between 2016-2017. With so many companies and websites, that is unlikely, so beware. You could end up ordering from one of the "websites" that doesn't legally exist. ;)

I think this is precisely why it is quite difficult to get a hold of decent essay writing companies nowadays. It is so easy to mislead clients nowadays by citing false addresses, putting up false claims, etc. I would suggest that anyone who seeks to avail of these services to always be extra cautious. Always order off of websites that have been well-researched on.

The reason it's tough to find a good company is simply that this is still a totally unregulated industry conducted almost exclusively online. Even a well-written website with a verifiable address might still provide work of terrible and unusable quality. The only thing new customers can really do is try out the most legitimate-seeming provider with a very short project before ordering a longer project. If you wait to start doing your due diligence until you desperately need a large project and you don't leave yourself enough time to experiment first with a small test order, your likelihood of getting ripped off for a lot of money -- or of wasting a lot of money on a disappointingly-bad product -- increases tremendously.

Furthermore, even otherwise legitimate companies often have some very inexperienced and/or bad writers on their staff. I saw plenty of that as a company writer, on orders whose notes explained that the customer was ordering the same project as one already provided by the same company and demanding that the specific writer who produced the first project NOT be allowed to work on the second order. So, if you do manage to get good work on your first try, consider yourself lucky and always insist on using that same writer on all future orders; otherwise, it's still something of a gamble each and every time you place a new order, even if the company already provided a decent essay the first time.

When a writing company has so many identities online, one can be assured that this is a problematic organization that has quite a negative reputation. Companies that deal with clients on the level do not require so many aliases to do their business. The reason that a company could have so many aliases that resolve to the same IP address is simple, they know that students will not bother to trace the history of the IP address. So they will manage to get some unsuspecting student, who they probably scammed before, under one of the other company names. In this case, this company has quite the reputation for delivering unbelievably low quality papers. I had one of their writers apply at my company one time. I did not even bother to give that writer a writing test for obvious reasons.
