@ Allaboutgame...how about I start chatting with you, what will I find out then???

Hey people....after reading WritersBeware posts don't you think he is actually from India...

Also...WB has been hired by India's president to cause havoc amongst India's and Pakistan's competitive online essay industry.

Hi,

After reading all these posts, im really panicking now as I have already paid Dissertation Dom to do my dissertation and now Im worried that they will not deliver.

To Sharon 88, I have spoken to them a few times and they dont have a Pakistani accent, they all rather have an american or canadian accent. Also, I think they are based in the US but have a branch here. I called the US webiste and they answered straight away and they confirmed that they have a branch in the UK. Also, i think they have the same automated service as the US, maybe that is why the line is not too clear. What do i know?

To Anyone, Please help and let me know if I should request my money back now because I cannot miss my deadline!!

You're either another one of their cronies or couldn't be bothered to read the thread before posting.

Also, I think they are based in the US but have a branch here.

Wrong.

I have spoken to them a few times and they dont have a Pakistani accent, they all rather have an american or canadian accent.

Wrong. Most of them have heavy, Pakistani/Indian accents. The ones who don't have heavy, Pakistani/Indian accents are the ones who attended English schools in Pakistan, but still quickly give themselves away.

To Anyone, Please help and let me know if I should request my money back now

Yes. Read the thread.

UKacademia.co.uk = non-UK (almost certainly from Ukraine), ESL garbage

The Web copy is a joke.

We're not allowed to promote specific websites but I think there's more than enough information in some older threads here that would help you figure out which sites and freelancers are likely trustworthy. That would probably be more productive than asking for specific recommendations. If there's anybody here who seems to sound legit to you, you can also search the forum for all of his or her prior posts. Good luck.

Hey Spacemountain12. Yeah, some of them don't have Pakistani accents and do sound a lil American, but they are based in Pakistan and not in the UK or US. And yeah I would be panicked too because they will deliver, but they'll deliver you utter crap, that's why they offer unlimited revisions. Most likely it'll be plagiarised. You could ask for your money back but they won't give it back, instead when you receive it complain about how unhappy you are and how it's plagiarised and how you don't want it revised at all and just want a refund, they might just give you half or nothing.

I learnt the hard way when I lost all my money. You're better off writing your dissertation yourself, you'll do much better that way.

Have you asked them directly for a refund yet?

Hi Sharon88,

Yeah, I have asked them for a refund directly and they said to give them until tomorrow evening and if they dont deliver my research proposal, to call them back and they will refund me. I dont think it is gona be a full refund but in any case, I will ring my credit card company to find out my options.

I was doing the dissertation myself but had a lot of personal issues to deal with lately and that cut my time back plus I have a baby on the way too and really stressed out. Hopefully I will get some money back.

Thanks

I guess they are having more trouble than usual in finding online content to steal.

Awww you're having a baby :) congratulations! Try not to get too stressed out over this.

Yeah, I have asked them for a refund directly and they said to give them until tomorrow evening and if they dont deliver my research proposal, to call them back and they will refund me.

Did they ask why you wanted a refund and tried disputing it? What if you receive it then what? Because most likely you probably will receive it. So will they still refund you?

Hopefully I will get some money back.

Yeah, I hope you get it back too. Btw it's Ramadan for them hopefully they won't be so heartless this month.

Let me know how it goes. Goodluck!

dissertationdom.co.uk - SURE they are scammers. I have personally used them. They delivered an 80% plagiarism dissertation, and full of crab . They accepted to refund me 40%. It's been now 3 months and still not refunded me my money although I keep contacting them every week.... and every week they give me the same answer that my money will be refunded within 5-7 working days! Only if I could put my hands on them!! anyone knows how I can sue them, or how I can get my money back? they also have another site in the US for cheating people and would not surprise me if they have sites in other countries or with different names. I have noticed that their web site looks very much alike with some other similar type organizations for dissertations.

Merged topic:
dissertationdom.co.uk

I have been scammed by this company dissertation dom in august 2010. They delivered me a dissertation almost completely fully plagiarism and mostly crab. I have been trying over the last 3 months to get a partial refund but all they do is promising that I will have my refund within 5-7 working days. Any ideas as to what I can do to get my money back? MY ADVISE - if you have to do a dissertation or essay, DO IT YOURSELF. I guarantee you, it will be much better than the purchased one and with less agrovation!

START A CHARGEBACK WITH YOU CREDIT CARD COMPANY> I've already said this in other threads you've started--do you bother reading for responses, or do you just like the feeling of farting in the wind?

dissertationdom is a fraud, I had a first hand experience. They delivered the essay but its a totally different essay to what I required. I was trusting enough to use a few pages of the papers they delivered in my own work only to be clamped for plagiarism and I paid dearly for it.

I'll say here what I will elsewhere: I typically either let the client pay me after work, have some kind of quality guarantee, help them after the fact if there is a problem with the grade, or have the client pay 50% up front. I've had mostly good results with this, except for one delinquent account.

This site is NOT an unbiased source of good advice and free informations

The site itself has good intentions. The problem, is that there are a few people here who tend to use the site for self serving intentions. That does not mean they lie or that the forum misrepresents itself. It only shows that the owners of the forum are open minded and encourage discussions of all sorts, without consideration of the purpose. It is called free speech and is definitely encouraged at this forum.

One of the things that I enjoy about reviewing the URL's at this forum is seeing how the websites have been taken offline by the owners. Whatever their reasons are for taking down the url, such as in this case, what becomes evident is that there is a truth to the discussions about the company in the thread it was posted in. The disappearance of the company further cements the truth about the lies behind the company and the truth behind how they scam the students. By disappearing from the net, one company becomes less of a problem to the students looking for services. However, I cannot say for sure that they have totally disappeared. They may have opted to just change their company name and url in some instances. So vigilance is still the key to avoiding these problem companies.

However, I cannot say for sure that they have totally disappeared. They may have opted to just change their company name and url in some instances.

As I recently suggested in a very similar thread, the typical M.O. of scam companies is to close and re-open under a new name as soon as they get publicly outted as scams. The constant changing of their company names is an essential part of their "business model"; and they probably register many different company names and websites well in advance for exactly this purpose. That's why it's important to consider the length of time that any service provider has been operating under the same name, whether it's an essay company or an independent freelance writer.
