Has anyone used oxbridgewriters.com and how are they?

Oxbridgewriters.com seems to charge much high price than other companies. (1600 pounds for a 4000-word essay). They have a Nottingham (UK) telephone number and address and say that their writers are all from Oxbridge. Does anyone know anything about this company? Are they trustworthy?

That is an awful lot of money. I am sure, in the UK itself, you could be able to find companies who offer excellent papers for lesser amount.

Bad StudentYes indeed.

Buyer / student beware, as always.

All sites claim to use excellent and qualified writers - many do not.

And just because a writer is a student at Oxford, it does NOT follow that they can write better than a writer from elsewhere. That is inaccurate and just plain snobbery, though writers from the top 30 or so universities in the Uk are much better than those from the bottom 30 usuall. This company, like hundreds of others, is just trading on a name - Oxford - and probably trying to milk customers who don't know any better.

A 4000 word 2.1 essay should cost around £400-500 - and a 1st £800-£850 from a high quality and reputable UK essay site which uses graduates in the UK. In my opinion, any site that offers a lower price should be avoided. Of course, cheapo sites will do essays for half that, but low quality is always a risk as is plagiarism. Your choice though. You get what you pay for...

Be aware too that the same writers do work for several companies - so if you order from a UK Limited company website that offers you an 4000 word essay for £400-500-ish then why pay more than double for the same writer at a site which promises supposedly 'better' essays? Of course, it depends how quickly you need the essay too.

Also, I believe that after a period of time - I think 4 years - this site says it will have the right to sell your essay! A concern, surely? As are many plagiarism checkers which then also claim the right to use essays submitted to them as they wish (eg Viper).

WRT - you really are a loon. I have never sucked up to anyone in my life, certainly not any essay company which encourages people to cheat (ie all of them).

As usual, you are engaged in a sad paranoid world where you think you alone know secrets no-one else knows - it's called schizophrenia, nutty boy. Sad really. Stick to watching Oprah - that's just about your level I think.

Though it seems your tongue is permanently inserted into WB as per usual...

Listen, Mr or Mrs or Ms or what ever you are - If you have nothing to (say) add please do not reply. And I have seen so many topics where you actually do insult other people calling them idiots. I mean who the heck are you? WHO ARE YOU? AH? calling them 'idiots' etc. Please do me a favour - get a life.

OXBRIDGEWRITERS (writer refused to do a rewrite)

I ordered an essay from oxbridge writers after speaking to them at length over the phone.

They promised me that the essay will be of a first standard. I paid them £600 for a 2000 essay with a 5 day turn around.

i asked if they could send me some of the work while it was being done. They said they would.

They failed to produce work in progress then gave me a essay which was such a poor quality it recieved a 42 mark- which was barely a pass.

I paid for a first and got barely a pass. I asked them for ammendments they said the writer refused.

I asked them for a refund . They refused that was well. Eventaully after lots of conversations they promised a credit.

Now they have even refused that.

Dont trust them . They are very good at lying. There writers are rubbish. They lie that the writers have a 1st from oxbridge. The work produced is such a poor quality im not sure that english is even their first language.

STAY AWAY. THEY WILL RUIN YOUR CAREER.

Ummm....duh? NEVER send ANY company this much money on a first order. EVER.

Also, writers generally don't work in drafts or complete work in sections in this industry. A 2000 word essay is a few hours' work, not something that would be written over a five day period.

They have a Nottingham (UK) telephone number and address and say that their writers are all from Oxbridge

A search provided me with information that they have an "actual" research office at the address that they gave. Some student supposedly visited their "offices" where he formally placed his order. The problem, is that there is no information available to support this claim. Which makes me believe that this was paid for information. The negative reviews that complain about high costs and sloppy work, along with undelivered papers are more believable due to the supporting statements and evidences presented. There is more information that supports the negative than the positive for this company so, guess which one I believe more?

Since the site has a broken internet connection, I will assume that it is currently being dismantled by its current owners. Even the cached version of the site is no longer accessible. It is definitely no longer a player in the essay writing business so there is no need to delve any further into the company and its reliability. It can be ignored since it no longer exists in a form that could cause damage to the students. Not even if the domain name goes up for sale. My guess is it went offline early this year. The name has disconnected but the server records still exist. It just doesn't allow access to the pages on a public basis anymore. A prelude to the full record removal.
