After two days of constant communicating through their live chat service and e-mail, and after making me believe they are good in what they do, and of course after the payment was complete (for a 6 page paper), they ran away! Their chat status went offline, didn't answer their phone and didn't reply to any of my e-mails. My bank has started the investigation though and I hope I can get my money back. Don't use any essay services unless you know it is not a scam. I read some posts here on how some students are not happy with the result of their papers written by essay writers, well I think getting an essay (no matter how bad) is better than getting nothing at all. It's the worst feeling to find out you've been fooled by a bunch of arrrses :(

The reason I chose them was because I saw some posts by "students"! on yahoo answers which were talking about this site.
One of them says in her/his post: I was wondering if anyone has tried this site more than once, I know they are good for first time customer but don't know if they are always good or just want to impress their first time customers.

Well I read this and thought they must be good at least for the first time! Now I realizes this was probably posted by one their people.

In another post a "student" is saying that he/she ordered 3 essays to these people and they were all good!
Then the same person (same username) in another post is representing her/himself as a staff member of authenticpapers.com and can help with all kinds of academic writing......

on yahoo answers

These reviews or "questions' are started and answered by the same people who use different accounts. Reading them is a waste of time.

It's too bad that it's usually too late when students find this site.

Today they sent me the essay to prove to me they are not scamming me. Well the paper was 1650 words (I ordered 1500) which is fine but it was not written in an academic way. It was mostly copy from the text book with a funny font and full of "I"s and "You"s, which we are not really supposed to use in an academic writing. And of course I won't use it because I already wrote mine. Anyway, just wanted to say they are not scam but I won't try them again. It wouldn't get more than 50% from my tutor or maybe not even 50%. I am not an English speaking person, but the essay I wrote it's way better than the one I paid for to be written by a professional writer.

The reason I thought they were scamming me was because as soon as I made the payment through their site, they stopped replying to my e-mails and ignored me completely till the next day. But they say clearly on their site that they have special 24/7 support! I sent them lots of e-mail that day and called them scam! No reply till 24 hours later! The next day they politely offered me a refund and I said yes please. After that, I was getting e-mails from them informing me that the refund was done and they wanted to know if the money was transferred to my bank account. No money ever was transferred to my account from them whatsoever but they have been insisting that money was refunded to my account. I sent them several e-mails telling them that there was no money refunded. Then they ignored me for several days and after that they sent me the paper, which I'm not going to use it and of course no refund, which I won't ask for it anymore. Long story... confused as well.

I think it is morally and ethically wrong for any student to buy essays/term papers or any other form of academic writing from any 'essay service' whatsoever. The fact that you are an ESL learner does not justify any reasons whatsoever for you to cheat. However, you agreed to a transaction and received the end product. If I were you and I felt cheated, I would force them to redo the assignment over and over and then state that it is not satisfactory and claim for a refund. Atleast, using this path does not place you in any direct line of conflict. Remember that these essay writing services are not outlawed/illegal as many students will have you believe. As far as they can prove that the material delivered is to be used for reference only, they would 'pass' as legal. Therefore, posting a comment that they are spam when you acknowledged receipt of a product can land you in trouble unnecessarily more so if they have your I.P and chose to submit it to search engines such as Google who would then consequently ban you.

I sincerely doubt any action is going to be taken against Stdnt for calling a company a scam. Also, if the work they delivered was actually copied from a textbook, then Stdnt did get scammed.

That sure sounds familiar.

Advising customers to turn into scammers is hardly the best way to raise the bar here.

It is extremely easy for these companies to misrepresent themselves online. They actually have a whole department dedicated to just building their positive image online. Yahoo is not a reliable source of information in this case because that place is not peopled by the same writing pros who have only the best interests of their clients at heart. In other words, Yahoo reviews are not the same as ES discussion threads so don't believe everything you read about writing companies or writers at that site.

Go Daddy is currently selling the domain name. The owners of the company have let its online identity go for some reason. They have not renewed it for quite some time now since the companies that sell the url's often allow for a waiting period before reselling the name. Here's hoping that whoever decides to try to enter the academic writing field using the same name will do a better job at it. That is doubtful though since the reputation of the company is really bad and would be difficult to overcome. Nobody will believe the company is under new management but then again, there are those gullible people who will believe anything they read and will not bother to investigate further before jumping in to a problematic deal.
