Beware of site essayforme.com

I recently tried using their services but they lack skilled writers so I suggest people use on their own discretion.

I signed up and asked them to do a 2750 word paper with 10 sources for $399.50 and the writer only wrote 850 words and had 3 sources and never responded to my message on whether he/she would be able to complete it.

I complained about it and wanted a refund and they only wanted to refund only 80% of it back stating it's their policy yet were unable to send me any link of any sort about it. In addition their guarantees are pretty much useless marketing ploys to get people to use their site, they have a satisfaction guarantee and plagiarism guarantee and the paper was incomplete and had plagiarism elements to it, even when I told them this they kept wanting to rewrite it rather than refund it when the deadline was over and I did not need a paper anymore.

When I told them to remove my card info they wouldn't remove it as well and said my information is safe with their privacy policy (makes you wonder why put trust in their "policy" when they can't stick with their guarantees).

They then pretty much threatened if I do a chargeback they will publish the essay and search for authorship, so it's either I pay them money for doing pretty much work a highschooler can do (not essay format, bad grammar, misspellings) or they will break their policy for privacy and try to expose me for using their site. When I threatened legal action they deleted my account with them.

That's pretty much my story with them so unless you want issues like that I suggest you don't use them if you value discretion and a skilled writer.

There wasn't "good writing" here at all, stu4. Did you read the post? The customer was completely scammed by a company that is obviously designed to do nothing but scam. You know all about how that works, don't you?

Yeah the writing was not good at all. It felt like they took a research paper template and pasted it on a word document then copied and pasted material they found from sources onto the sections (but obviously it looked like the wrote some stuff cause they spelled stuff wrong...). They did not even bother to carefully read the instructions I sent them... the instructions stated "choose 1 of the 3 topics and write about it" and they tried writing an essay including all 3 topics... they didn't even bother to contact me if they were confused about it. When I called them to complain they sounded Asian as in Chinese or Indian and I could barely understand them. I also felt, based on the conversations I had with customer service and their administrator, that it's just 2-3 people running that site so they're probably gonna be the same people writing the paper for those who use the site.

Like I stated, the essay was trash and was not even completed. The writing style was not even similar to mine and they never asked to see prior papers from that class to try and mimic the essay style. The format they used was basically this

Intro: 1 sentence
Differences
Age: 1 sentence
Theme: 1 sentence

and so forth. Everything written was pretty much copy pasted from the sources they used with no intext citations. Also, the paper was supposed to be analytical, but the paper I received was factual... like I said it's an incomplete high school paper or even something for middle school, not something you would want to pay for. The stuff they did anyone can do in just 30 minutes and they expect to be paid for that kind of work.

Did you get your money back?

I went to the bank yesterday and filled out the necessary forms and when I went home I saw that I received the partial refund they said they would give back (the 80%). Unsure if I'll get back the full refund, but I did fill out the necessary paperwork.

Currently I do have $320 from them, the problem is they refuse to give a full refund even though I told them everything I said on this post. They keep offering to rewrite it even though I keep telling them the deadline has already past (don't understand why it isn't getting through their heads that I don't want to pay for an essay that I can't even turn it in anymore when they failed to meet the deadline and wrote crap... the only reason I chose them is because I read their guarantees and I searched online about a review of them where an essay review site said they were legit, I'm not sure if I can post that link here).

Their offer was pretty much to accept the 80% refund and they will give a discount on the next paper I pay for using their site (they must think I'm crazy to use their site again) and if I do anything else they will publish the essay and so forth as stated earlier. I wouldn't have mind paying for the paper even if it was a C paper and I told them that, but like I posted earlier it was incomplete, they didn't follow the instructions, didn't hit the word count, wrote it in a different format, used only 3 sources and want to be paid $80 for something that is not even written well, is plagiarized, and looks like 30 minute work. They said their policy in reference to refunds is to keep 20% of it, but they can't send me a link or fine print that says so, which was something I requested in my last message to them but they never did do that.

It was kinda awkward explaining why I was using an essay site to the bank in person though lol

Update: As of today I got my money back, they probably aren't too happy about it though

By the way, if you check their terms and conditions, it says there that once you've downloaded a paper there is no chance to get 100% refund anyway and they refund you only the part they feel necessary after checking your paper. And guys trust me, an 80% refund means that the paper was crap indeed, but the company tries to save at least some %% off every order.

In these instances, it is always best that the student replace the card in question. Be it a debit, credit, or prepaid card, cancel it. That way you know your data is really safe and inaccessible to them. Report the card information as having been obtained fraudulently by an undesirable party. The companies understand these situations happen and will be more than happy to give you a new card. Sure you will be inconvenienced for a few days, but at it beats leaving your card information in the hands of criminals.

The site is heavily text based for a reason. They hope that the student will quickly tire of reading the repetitive information and just go directly to placing an order. It is possible that this could happen in the case of students who hire services based on their available allowance as opposed to those that here the service after proper inquiries are done regarding services and writer quality. These are also the students who do not really care about work quality,until he sees his paper grade. These are only a few reasons why students will do well to steer clear of this company and their offered services. Stay away from this company. There is too much at stake to lose if you do.
