Hi there,

i am thinking about using a writing service.

Up to now i have not read any bad comments or seen any complaints about the quality of their work or their service. Does anyone have bad experiences with this company?

Would be very happy about help!!!

Best regards, A

Here is a bad comment - there may be a person who might have had bad experience about them. But that won't tell you anything, will it?:)

Hey major...

of course it would help me! So i would know that they are not reliable! Can you tell me if they are good or are they cheating as well? What is your experience?

Best regards

But would you really rely on an anonymous post?

Here are the "profiles" of the forum users who visit and post here or on similar websites.

Choose Best WriterA. [Angry] lurkers. They usually already have their favorite essay writing websites they or their friends use. But they still come here from time to time to see "what's up."

They would start posting only if their favorite website failed to meet their expectations. Then they would only mention or shout a negative experience, which may account for only a very small percentage of the total experience.

B. Fake advertisers. They would post as a happy client who has used a particular service and recommends it to others.

C. Malicious company owners/representatives. They would post a negative experience about other writing services without providing a proof of the alleged fault.

D. Genuine users who have first-hand experience with the particular service and who can objectively describe their experience (whether positive or negative).

Regarding your question, I've never used them (I personally don't use such services). But expect to hear from one of the profiles soon -- hopefully you'll be lucky to hear from a D-profile member ;).

My general idea - contact the service you may be interested in and judge them yourself by their comments, response time, politeness, etc.

awww major... you missed category "E" : cool writers who hang out on the board b/c this is what they do and who try to give realistic assessments of the industry overall.

westD, in reality, it's nearly impossible to find a company with zero negative comments. if you haven't found one, then you probably haven't looked hard enough. but finding one bad comment wouldn't make them a bad company either.

every business is going to make some clients mad, it's inevitable. boards like this one are best for pointing out egregious problems involving a history of bad experiences and fraudulent activities but the recommendations or lack of criticisms won't ever guarantee a good experience. angry lurkers can shred a company's reputation but a positive comment or two doesn't rebuild it and invariably end up suspect. of course, how many businesses can you think of with 100% customer service approval?

Oops, sorry - you're right. ;)

f course, how many businesses can you think of with 100% customer service approval?

That's a good question. If a company has one client a month and s/he is very happy with their product/service, the "approval" rate is 100%. With 100 customers a month there's no way to satisfy everybody.

This reminds me of a similar situation with Google - yet a few years ago their "approval" rate was very high; now, due to privacy concerns, they are not as popular as before. But it doesn't mean people will stop using them :).

Major,
you are right, but there are some writingservices that are total crapp and some reliable companies. They have worked since years very properly and their standard is high. Like in every industry!

Lavinia,
i spent a lot of time in researching which companies seem to be good and which seem to be bad. I never used a service like this before and so i need some help. And i thought a community like this could help me! I found out that there some horrible companies like best essays.com etc and some seem to have received good critique in general.

The good ones seem to be: ukessays.co. uk and custompapers.com (also found on [best-essay-service.com] - Best Essay Writing page). What do you think? And which one do you think is offering the best quality in writing?

I am writing my own essay, but i would like to get some input from external professionals to improve my performance. Generating new ideas, etc...

I would be happy if you could help me.

The good ones seem to be: ukessays.co.uk and custompapers.com. What do you think?

There're no shortcuts - you still ask me what I think even though I don't use such services. ;)

My advice - contact each of them and then you'll get the best initial idea about who they are and what they may represent.

Better yet - send them an email:

"Hi, I'm interested in your services. Could you call me at **** because I'd like to hear what you have to offer."

There's a general rule of thumb that a crappy company hires crappy/incompetent customer service people, so your initial "test" should tell you a lot.

So can somebody tell me about his/her experiences with the mentioned company?

When I order something and send a pre-sale inquiry AND receive a thoughtful and fast response, then - I assume - there are better chances to receive timely support in case of problems.

WestD, even if you don't totally agree with Major's logic, you are probably better off contacting all three as Major suggested because of the time of year. I know a lot of us are seriously booked during busy season and companies do have to turn down requests when they can't find writers. they could all three be great but if only one can meet your demands and deadline, then the choice is sort of easy.

remember too: contacting them doesn't obligate you to use their services. there is really no harm to sending out queries.

So can somebody tell me about his/her experiences with the mentioned company?

I could register a new username, contact the companies you inquire about and ask about their affiliate program and commission rate if I promote them and you end up ordering from one of them ;).

Anyway, here are the things you need to understand when choosing an essay writing service.

1. Essay writing company is as good as the worst writer of that company. When ordering an essay your main concern should be how good YOUR assigned writer is. The company itself does not write essays for you, ONE writer does.

2. 99% of all essay writing companies (or all of them) hire freelance writers.

That means the writers do not work in the company's office - they work from home. Otherwise, you'd have to pay $80 per page or more.

--------
If you remember these two points, you will realize how important the customer service is for an essay writing company. Moreover, I can go as far that I can say a good customer service/competent coordinators are the most important people of an essay writing company.

In case of a problem, the customer service people are the ones that can help you resolve the problem. If your writer's computer breaks down, what do you do? - you email the customer service and ask for help. If your project is late or does not meet your instructions, what do you do? - you email the customer service to help you out.

Now, if you claim response-time or competence are not important, you may change your mind when something goes wrong. A good customer service, in case of a problem, can reassign your project to another writer. But if they are unresponsive, incompetent, or slow, you are out of luck :)

1. What other companies did you consider?
2. Why does your profile say that you're a "freelance writer" if you're a student looking for an essay provider?
3. Why did you choose an American-flag icon when it's so obvious from your English that you're not American?

Just curious.

Hey guys, I'm sorry I joined the discussion late, now, about essays, I have only used only three of them, throughout my college life and they have worked for me. Here are some lessons I have learned by using them.

1. Don't choose an expensive writing service provider thinking that they will give you a great service; I have had very bad service from some of them.

2. The volume of work handled by a site, will not necessary reflect the quality, a high traffic site may have fewer quality checks and therefore suck. On the other hand, a low volume site may be owned by non- native English speakers like Pakistani, and therefore their quality will be bad too.

3. Don't always trust reviews, I know many people who pay content writers like iwriter to have good reviews written for them, and they are strewn all over the net. Some companies pay a hefty amount to have their business acquire revenue, and you may be sure that some go into reviews.

4. As Major pointed out, a company is as good as their best writers; even the best essay writing companies will occasionally turn in bad papers, which pass through their quality check-up coz, not all essays are checked. Couple that with a student who has no idea what the essay or other course work is all about, and you will find that only the bad grades will reflect how bad the paper was.

Here are some recommendation

1. Choose a writing service and stick with it, if you find a writer you love, have him/her write all your other orders.

2.Always order a paper, days before handing it over. If the paper I due within 14 days, order a ten days paper through the essay services. This will enable you to review the paper and ask for a re-write if necessary. This too, will allow you to avoid handing in shoddily written work written, just because of pending deadlines.

3. If a writing service consistently hands in work that is not up-to-standard, don't shy in telling other people about it. Spread the word.

Now for the writing services that I used, here they are; GrabMyEssay-Good quality, EssayWritingCenter.com - Pocket-friendly, good service and TopEssayWriting.org - great pricing and good essay turn over.

These worked for me, but I don't know whether they'll do for you guys, as I said, find one that satisfies you.

1. Choose a writing service and stick with it, if you find a writer you love, have him/her write all your other orders.

This makes perfect sense. So, why would you have used two more of those three companies you listed if you received such good work from one of them?

a company is as good as their best writers

Actually, the problem is that a company is only as good as its worst writers unless and until you can be sure that your project is being done by the specific writer of your choice. Even if a company allows you to request a specific writer, no company I know of requires any writer to accept a specific project and I used to decline certain requests for me, quite routinely. In my experience, if that happens, your order is simply posted publicly for all of their writers and made available to whichever writer decides to take it off the board. You can't really do anything about that if you're not happy with the work you receive unless you specify very clearly in your order that you want a refund if your chosen writer is unavailable and/or that you do not agree to accept work from any other writer unless you expressly agree to accept a different writer proposed by the company.

In fact, that's exactly what I used to suggest to my company clients who expressed an interest in having me do their future projects, precisely so that they couldn't get stuck with work produced by some new and inexperienced writer of unproven abilities in the event I was unavailable or chose not to take the project.

+ Freelance writer- Sorry guys I'm still new here, and I don't know how to highlight another person's comment as you did, now for the answers to your questions;

Back in the days, when I enrolled in the college, I would be bogged down with coursework and essays, and I quickly learned that I was stuck between working for my college fees while reading for my final exams or spending my time working on my course work.

That's when I asked my friends, and they referred me to Top essay writing and grab my essay. I experimented around with both of them, and that's when I realized that although the writers were all good, some excelled in their work than others.

Most companies will assign your order to a writer who is in your field of career, but it does not necessarily mean that he will accomplish the writing to your satisfaction.

I found out that for me to engage the services of a particular writer, you could do so at 20% more, in their Preferred writer's and on the Order now section. I soon found two writers who were good at my course subjects.

But, the 20% was hurting me, so I started looking around for a cheaper option, and after some disappointments with some other sites, one of my friends introduced me to Essay writing center, and within my first order, I was hooked, as it was.

1. Cheaper than the two other mentioned by almost $3/ page.
2. Right from the first paper, my writer gave me the content I needed.

But, they didn't have the preferred writer's section, so I just contacted them and told them that, unless the specific writer who did my first order, does all my other orders I would cancel them.

It happens they have a way of assigning orders from their side to a specific writer although they have not incorporated it in the dashboard, another feature that is attractive on their side is that you can contact your writer directly.

My special orders were done at the same price, and couple that with the 15% on the first order, and 10% on orders over $100, and I was hooked.

Now, if you are careful to note, in my comments I talk about a specific writer but also mention three writing services owned by different people, I guess.

This is because I wanted to share my experience on the various writing services that worked for me, and as explained above stuck to one for their services, especially that "one writer" who gave me what I needed.

I would recommend all of them, for as I said earlier they worked for me but it does not mean that they are magic sites that will make all your wishes come true! You have to find one that will work for you.

So sorry FreelanceWriter, I have never used your services, but if I did and it appealed to me, you can be confident that it would certainly be posted here.

I guess one day I will, just to enjoy the experience you promise, but till then, I will stick to the ones that I have tried and tested.

Ousbourne, it's all good but you are not a student and you have NEVER paid a dime for a writing service. There have been dozens of people like you who pretended to be "students" but are in fact company owner or writers. So whatever you wrote above is just a marketing ploy and an attempt to fool other readers :)

You don't have to apologize to me for using other service providers. Major's suspicion is exactly the point I was getting at.

Most companies will assign your order to a writer who is in your field of career

I understand that this is something that many essay companies represent to customers on their websites, but in my experience, it's just untrue. Generally, companies simply post all of their orders with specs, due date, and payout on their online assignment board to which all of their writers have equal access and from which any writer can take any order on a first-come/first-served basis. They don't "employ" writers in the traditional sense that would allow them to "assign" any orders to writers; we're all just independent contractors working from our homes, so it's always up to us which projects we choose to take. That includes projects for which we're specifically requested. That doesn't mean that there aren't some writers who allow themselves to be bullied by their companies into taking certain orders, but most of us just decline any order that we don't want.

Now, if you are careful to note, in my comments I talk about a specific writer but also mention three writing services owned by different people, I guess.

I'm thinking it's a pretty safe bet that all three services are owned by the same entity or are closely "affiliated" with one another.

+Freelance Writer, I have held my peace as you attack my suggestions. I don't need your perspective as an essay writer, but I'm just commenting on the original question based on my experience, and it is retarded of you to try to arm strong our freedom to comment on other sites, just because you want to advertise yours.

Why don't you do your research before you start writing, may I recommend something called Google search, it is foolproof in information gathering, though not foolproof to all.

And again, let me guess, you used to work for a writing company, and you still do, but since you see how much they rake in, you determined to start your own services company, but it has never gained traction. One way of attracting customers according to you is to employ some guerrilla, narcissism style by professing experience through dragging other people's comments down.

Funny, isn't it, coz it works in reverse. You see most of us know bullying even from a mile away, and any marketing that is based on it will ultimately fail, because they realize that you suffer from Downing effect and all we can muster in terms of feelings for your effort is, well.... Pity.

How many customers have you gotten since you started posting your comments? A fair guess would be 0.

Though this site was made for civilized people to interact, we can not exclude you for the freedom of rights acts sake, therefore
let me beg my leave in future interactions with you, coz you will only drag me to your level and pound me with experience!

Ousbourne, I wasn't "attacking" you or your suggestions, but just pointing out some obvious inherent contradictions and inaccuracies. I've admitted to being openly suspicious of your motivation and of your self-identification as a "student" and "customer" because some of the information (such as about how writers are "assigned") to specific projects is not something that a customer would typically know with any degree of confidence, while being perfectly consistent with some of the marketing rhetoric typically advertised by essay companies. Major has made the same observations about your motivation and identity on this forum with a much greater degree of relative certainty.

As far as my business goes, I believe the last project I ever completed for any essay company was in September of 2014, because that's when my business finally became 100% supported by private clientele after hard-earned gradual progress in that direction for approximately five years. I believe that the biggest and best company for which I ever wrote still allows me to maintain an active account because I regularly refer work to them anytime a project comes my way that I'm unable to accept. I also happen to maintain a very good relationship with several other legitimate writers on this forum (including a couple of honest openly-ESL writers) against whom I compete fairly and without disparaging them or engaging in any "guerrilla" tactics. In fact, we often refer clients and projects to one another and we provide one another with emergency backup on occasion.

I have never professed any knowledge or said anything negative about any specific essay companies here other than my truthful and accurate comments about the low quality of some of the writing evident in their public websites and/or in their publicly-available writing samples in threads already discussing those essay companies.

Though this site was made for civilized people to interact, we can not exclude you for the freedom of rights acts sake, therefore let me beg my leave in future interactions with you, coz you will only drag me to your level ...

Finally, let me suggest that: (1) If you choose to post on this forum, other members have the right to respond to your posts as long as they don't violate any of the TOS established by the forum, and (2) By referring to another member's opinion or contribution as "retarded," you're the one inviting others to join you at the lowest level of discourse rather than being "dragged" there by anybody else.

In general, I cannot get why you consider students dumb. They've been living in the technology area for more than most of us did and they know ordering from a random website, not associated with a real/registered company or a real ENL freelance writer is always risky.

Thanks Major for your correction, didn't research about the sites before handing them my essays to write. But still, i will be giving them to write still, as they have done a good job at it. Why change a service if it is functional enough for me.

Major, you should note this, even though a business may be marked as a scam, it may also be an attack campaign from its competitors, I even know people who attack PayPal as a scam, and I've used it for years now.

As you said, it is a risky business ordering from an unknown site, but then again, if you viewed my previous comments, I specifically said that "they worked for me, but that does not specifically mean that they will work for you." Kind of a disclaimer which should be attached to all advice on this specific thread.

And finally, let's not deviate from the question that was supposed to be addressed here, it was "How to choose the best essay writing company?" I believe that for us to answer this question, we must give an honest review of our user experience on websites.

If you started a conversation on the three mentioned websites, I bet there will be positive and negative reviews written about them, and it would be for all people reading the comments to decide on whether to purcahse their services or not- just like Amazon reviews do.

Wouldn't it be suspect for any business in the world to receive only positive reviews? It would seem kinda like they are paying people to review it.

I wish, there was a reviewer, who would go around testing all sites, by ordering from them, it would be a great way for an honest hands-on review for most of these websites, and I bet he would have a lot of following.

Again, Major, thanks for your correction and contribution :)

Google, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, none of these search engines or social media sites can actually help a student find a reliable writing company. So what is a student to do when social media and Google fails him? Go direct to the source. To find the best essay writing company, use the links provided here at Essay Scam. These companies have already been reviewed and investigated thoroughly by the people that run this site. I mean, sure, they pay to advertise. That doesn't make them a scam. It means that they are legit and are good companies. They put their money where their mouth is after all.
