Hi,
I am living in japan and custom papers told me they won't charge my credit card?
Is this normal? isn't that risky?
is this going to be a scam? I dont have much time to change options though.
i mean ive heard the testimonies and everything, but how do i kno it's true.
I guess it's normal if they think it could lead to a fraudulent credit card transaction. But they also accept accept Paypal, moneybrokers or money order?
WritersBeware
Some companies make the decision to not accept credit card payments from certain countries because of high fraud rates in the past. That could be the reason.
Superconcerned,
I have mentioned in my previous thread that
"Custompapers.com hire ESL writers to do their work. I am not sure how good the quality of paper might be?"
Just to remind everyone again that I found a site which says that custompapers is a scam site!!!
helium.com/tm/48502/according-research-below-names
So please be aware!!!!
Sorry student_uk but what I saw was " 68. Custom-papers.org". I think custompapers.com and customer-papers.org are different.

Well how would you know that scam list is verifiable.
Yes i saw it on 92. custompapers.com, so what? A site can easily claim whatever is scam. I could make a site and say a whole bunch of sites are scam.
UPDATE: I ended up using a friend's credit card cause shes in the states right now.
ESL or not, I will be able to find out once the essays are underway. Besides, I think ive heard more positives from this company than negatives.
Obviously if the thing was crap I've cancel the transaction. I doubt it though because you haven't proven to me where they hire ESL writers, and my essays requirements aren't the type of thing you just google and hope to find a pre-written essay.
Well I want to hear more people on custompapers, cause I think only student_uk has a bad review (i'm not saying you're wrong), but everyone else seem to either have not heard about them or have given positive reviews.
Well how would you know that scam list is verifiable.
Yes, there are lots of "free press release" sites that allow anybody (even without a confirmed registration and approval) to post whatever they like. So it's up to the reader to determine what's true or not. Note: the same should relate to this site, too.
WritersBeware
If you look at the site that the Helium post references, custompapers.com is not even there.
essayfraud/scam-fraud-ripoff.html
Lol writersbeware its there at number 92 if you look carefully!!!
I had used custompapers.com around 3 months ago and the writer which they assigned was from Asia. I dont want to mention the country. The writer sent me the assignment and it was not up to the mark as the English was not up to the standard along with the quality of the paper.
Therefore, I say that custompapers.com hire ESL writers.
WritersBeware
Yes, LOL! Do you know what "references" means? Look at the bottom of the list on the HELIUM page. Do you not see the REFERENCE? It references
essayfraud/scam-fraud-ripoff.html as the source. However, essayfraud/scam-fraud-ripoff.html does NOT include custompapers.com.
Never trust anyone's quote or reference without verifying the source itself.
Well I am telling from my experience as I used custompapers.com if you read my previous post. It was terrible
Well I have asked custompapers to write at least a dozen essays, so I guess I would be updating this for y'all when I get them to stop the whole debate.
Uhm student, what is the name of your writer (prays that this isn't the same writer doing my paper haha)?
By the way student, sorry if I pissed you off in any way i just didn't want to be drawn into any conclusion based on one person's miserable exprienece.
Its fine superconcerned!!
I would like to get keep the identity of the writer confidential cause it might harm the writer in near future.
I just received my first paper from custompapers.com. 24 hour turnaround, the paper addressed all of the assignment requirements, was properly formatted, excellent grammar and content and come back from the originality verification from Turnitin with only the name of the school matching anything in their database.
I am a B+ student, a very good writer and very seldom think anyone can write as good a paper as I do. I thought at best I would use their paper as an outline and rewrite it. I was surprised, it was a very good paper.
Hell, I don't even know what an ESL writer is, but I think mine was English, since the only thing I corrected in the paper was her reference to a "mum" (English term for mom).
65 hour work weeks got me behind on my studies; I plan to purchase 3 more to get caught up. I was pleased with the work.
Troy and Erika were my sales rep and Lisa was the writer.
Well,
I asked for essays and multiple choice questions.
Essays - very well done i got full marks
mcq- i got 13 out of 50 for one of the sections, so im asking all the sections to be redone.
However, my brother just requested some work to be done and Custompapers said they were unable to find a writer -____- now hes in deep trouble.

Anvil and superconcerned, are you proud of plagiarizing and cheating? That is NOT the proper way to use a research service.
if you knew what situation i am in, you would have done the same or perhaps even more drastic.
if you realize it is july, school, well at least American ones, has supposed to be ended, you would know that something is not right.
i can't be doing this for school if it's mid-july already, unless it's summer course which I'm not taking because I don't even have the time to.
I don't know about you but my writing skills are pretty good actually when I proofread it carefully (but this takes forever), so I wouldn't rely on a 'research service' to do them for me. When school resumes again, I don't intend on using the 'research service' apart from having reference essays. As far as the MCQ, did anybody say this was for school?
don't jump to conclusions so fast. all I'm trying to say is Custompapers has been good with me in certain ares and not so much in other areas, but hopefully this will be improved over the next few days.
Cheers and no offence taken/given bro.
Writersbeware,
Thank you for being my moral compass, but really, I was not looking for and ethics lecture. I posted information I thought would be useful to people reading this forum, and those are people who are trying to verify the legitimacy and quality of the work done by the multitude of essay companies on the web.
I was both a full-time student and full-time worker and didn't complain too much; today's youth sometimes have it too easy to achieve their (or their parents') goals.

Thank you for being my moral compass, but really, I was not looking for and ethics lecture.
Moral compass? You entered morality into the equation, not me. I simply questioned your admitted lackthereof.
What you do not understand is that when you violate a company's contract and turn in the company's copyrighted document as your own work, you are giving a black eye to the entire academic research industry! Educators blame research companies when students violate contracts and decide to plagiarize. In fact, professors misdirect their blame to such a great extent that they pressured Google into banning academic assistance ads in Google AdWords!
Just a note to all of you who are concerned about getting what you want out of your dollars. I understand that completely and what I am going to tell you can be taken for truth or not; it's up to you. I'll tell you at the top that I write for ******. As a self-employed writer looking to make some extra money, I did a lot of checking into all the various companies out there. The result is that I wouldn't work for anyone else. They have sales people that have helped me get started with the company, they pay a fair rate for my work (which I bid for), they pay promptly and, as near as I can tell, they have the client's best interest at heart. I know what some of you are thinking: who is this guy? Why should I believe him? You don't know me and there's no reason at all for you to believe me. But I'll tell you this: if you use custompapers.com and you are unhappy with the work, they have things in place to get it right for you. That is made very clear to us as writers: if you do bad work, the company is going to charge the fee back to us and then probably not contract us anymore. I had to submit samples of my writing before they would set me an account.
They are very careful, professional and, unlike other companies I explored, they are always there when I need them. One more thing: you can always ask for a particular writer when you submit your request, so, if you like the way someone has written for you, establish a relationship with your freelance writer by requesting him or her again. They aren't the cheapest site on the web, but who do you want to do your work? The best, or the lowest bidder? You're going to get what you pay for here just like you do in most of the rest of life. So, take this for what it's worth. I know you don't have any reason to trust me more than anybody else, but if you give us a shot, I seriously doubt you'll be disappointed. Good luck!
I would like to get keep the identity of the writer confidential cause it might harm the writer in near future.
Why keep it confidential? It's the same as saying: "I went for dinner with a friend in a restaurant, and got out with food poisoning! But I wont tell you what restaurant it was!!"
Wtf man??!!
Yep! Indeed, it's a nice ad! You know how to sell your Sh@t Ralph!! I have to admit I'm quite convinced that custompapers.com is reliable according to all the threads I've read.
Thx people!
Is this normal?
It is normal for them to not accept international credit cards for direct charges. They've been burned in the past by international card charges. For such transactions, I am sure you can understand why they would prefer payment receiving through channels that offer seller protection. That is their insurance policy in case of fraud.
The credible writing companies avoid accepting international credit cards mostly because of the exhorbitant international transaction and conversion fees. I bet that is the only reason the company refused to process the payment using the Japan issued credit card. Do not jump to conclusions. Legitimate companies often do that to limit their losses. It is not a reflection of the legality or non-legality of a company. It is just a business decision often based on the computed possible losses on the order. The fees paid may leave them in the negative after the process is completed.
