Are you debating on using Essay Shark for a paper and wondering if they are legitimate? Well, I already took that chance for you and paid $600 for a dissertation to be written. It wasn't good and the writer was from Pakistan, like most of them. I did my research on this company and really dug up some information that they don't want you to know. Start by watching the video below and then browse the others to see why Essay Shark scams people out of their money.

After getting my first draft, I realized that I was just another Essay Shark scam victim.

I quickly realized that my writer was NOT American. He did not speak English and certainly could not write well.

EssayShark.com even threatened me by saying that they will file for copyright suit if I didn't shut my mouth.

Now, I have emails where they are trying to shut me up by emailing me. Nice try. You should have done the right thing in the first place. You cannot stop the headlights of justice.

The EssayShark scam is real. They are thieves who could care less about you.

EssayShark.com is a big, fat, outrageous scam.

When I called to speak with someone about giving a negative review of their service, they told me they would find out where I go to school and make sure I would always regret speaking poorly about them.

What I got was COMPLETE GARBAGE. The paper was formatted incorrectly, it didn't reach the page limit I PAID FOR, and didn't even address the topics I requested.

Essay Shark's writers are from Pakistan and they cannot write for the life of them.

The Essay Shark company owners are from Ukraine. The writers are from Pakistan, India, Philippines, Kenya, and other ESL countries.

It looks like you fu*-ed with the wrong customer this time, Eugene!

the only thing i know about essayshark is that you get to see an actual sample of the writer's work before you place your order. i'm not disputing the video or your account of things, but weren't you able to recognize the quality from the sample?

If a company operates as suggested in that video, wouldn't they also just send out the same few great "samples" they may have on file and falsely represent them as the writing of all their writers instead of sending out samples actually written by unqualified writers?

You don't really believe that ploy, do you?

i mean i've been on this site and actually seen how it works. they have a interface where writers are forced to write a free sample and the customer chooses the best writer. the only writers willing to write for free probably aren't the highest quality, but i'm still wondering why sharked wasn't able to notice the crappiness ahead of time.

Now it sure does. It's rational to find people record their protest. I wonder why this scammed customer did not start the chargeback. I am sure the transaction was made via PayPal. Every such scam must be exposed though.

I agree. I was also able to see how things work in EssayShark for quite some time in the past. As a writer, you are required to write a kind of "sample writing" in relation to the order's subject and topic when you apply for it. Shark should have noticed it before he proceeded with the writer. However, although this must be hard to imagine, EssayShark could have taken the chance to victimize Sharked since $600 is a great deal of money. Paying a writer for that dissertation would take away some of that $600. Who knows?

Anyway, I simply did not like how EssayShark does things, and had to get out of it.

Essay Student SharkI think sharked was in a hurry or something and just skipped all the mechanics designed to make our customers sure that they get what they want, except rating.

True, there's an option to request a free draft page of your own paper (tell me how in the wolrld it may be falsified if it's written on your particular topic?) from their writer before spending a penny

Also, it's supposed that for big orders like dissertations the customer releases the money in several installments, each installment to be released after every part of their paper.

I think he just skipped all of that, relying solely on the other people's opinion about his writer, and released the entire amount of money after the writer sent him a complete paper. Maybe even without actually reading a thing.

I have offered him a refund, as an exception from the rules (generally at essayshark we do not account ourselves responsible in such cases), but haven't got a reply yet.

Anyway, I simply did not like how EssayShark does things, and had to get out of it.

Any particular issues?

you know, actually you can complain to PayPal and they will investigate everything, and there's a chance you can get 100% refund.
I know their policy about virtual goods, but a lot of clients get their money back after a dispute

It is precisely because of the constant refund claims within PayPal that the company eventually decided to stop dealing with academic writing companies. It wasn't just about the academic institutions applying pressure on them. It was also about the constant bickering and refund claims that kept their mediation department busy with difficult to handle virtual claims, as no product is actually involved that led to the dissolution of the partnership between PayPal and academic writing sites.

essayshark.com.DND does exactly what their name describes. They are sharks in the academic waters. They go for the jugular with their clients to collect fees that they are not entitled to. The work of their writers further reinforces this idea as they provide shoddy services to clients who pay unreasonable prices, hoping that the quality of work is equally to the amount they paid. Instead, they receive work that could have just been written by an AI, since it is obviously a brainless piece of writing. I have yet to hear of a client that the company actually refunded a piece of work for based on the lack of quality writing.

According to their website, they charge $13.10 per page, which means their writers work for about $7 or $8/page. That's about all you need to know about the quality you can expect from them.
