I have order a term paper from them but realized i did not want it anymore so i called in the next morning requested a cancellation and the lady told me id be call back. The representatives are all inconsistent with who to speak to and what to do. I never reached anyone whom i can speak to directly. I have emailed them multiple times also. However, dispute all of my attempts I was sent the paper still which was all incorrect and 40 HOURS LATE!! I am still calling the company but no one has contacted me back its has be a week.

WHAT SHOULD I DO?

I am sure you have paid them by credit card. Go with all evidence and charge back on them.. only option available to you.

Yes, as WriterBeware stated, this would be the only and best route for you to take. If you paid via PayPal, you may still have a chance to receive a full refund. I hope that everything works out for you.

Unfortunately, the paper was sent to you and in accordance to our terms and regulations by which you did agree we can not provide full refund because our products could be easily reproduced.

does any one know what he is saying? their company lacks management skills I put in a quest for cancellation and still sent it.. is it my fault??? i feel like their company purposely put me on hold so i will receive the order........ :(((

Good for you. If everyone was as active as you in getting their money back from these scammers, their companies wouldn't last long.

That's exactly what I did today with a certain website (bestessays.com) I submitted an order and why I didn't go with my gut instinct I haven't a clue. So, I simply googled the website name and was ASTONISHED at how many negative reviews came back. Essayscam, well more specifically pheelyks, made me realize I made a huge mistake. I decided to call them back and was more focused this time when speaking to the reps. You could clearly here that their english wasn't so bad, but it just didn't flow properly. I was tempted to ask them straight out if they were Ukranian haha. Regardless, I told them I wished to have my order canceled and they said they would--but why believe them and risk losing money. I then called the oh so wonderful 1 800 number on the back of my cc and informed them that I placed and order, cancelled it, and the rep assured me nothing would be charged. Thank God for decent, respectable companies.

Anyway, I created this account to not only share my story but to try and contact a certain member. Pheelyks, as I really don't have (nor feel like trying to fake) 14 posts in me, could you please contact me. I read through countless threads and would like to speak to you via email.

If anyone else feels like lending me a hand, by all means let pheelyks know I'm trying to contact him. Thank you.

the answer is mixed. I have worked for 2 Ukrainian companies. I have found that often, the same company may treat a writer well for a while, and then decide to start mistreating them. this was the MO at essaywriters and academia-research. someone on this supposed scam-busting site needs to track down these companies, and tell the forum members where they are located. AR has a NYC number. companies in the US don't have the same rights to privacy as individuals.

An effective way of stopping the company from scamming you is by being one step ahead of them. That is, if you are absolutely certain you do not want to receive the paper from them, do not call the company first. Instead, file a stop on the payment with your bank (if it has not been deducted from your account yet), place a stop on the credit card charge ( once reflected in your bill, based on online account checking), or file the charge back as soon as you can. Do not call them first and then hope they will refund your money. Start the refund procedure first, that way, whether you contact them or not, you stand a better chance of getting refunded. Sure they will come after you with threats and blackmail attempts but, you can safely ignore those since you already stopped them from stealing from you before they could threaten you.

1 wonder if this case was amicably resolved. Seeing as how this company is known for charging students more than the agreed upon amount, among other disputes filed against them, I bet the student did not get the chargeback successfully filed. The company is known for ignoring chargeback claims and revision requests. While the company manages to con students regularly, they manage to dothat only once. Thisis why it is important to look for site vreviews beyond ES. Sometimes the information given here is not enough to come to an accurate decision. Why? Well consider this open-ended thread. It even has unrelated discussions presented so it defeats the purpose of the forum which in to help students avoid scams.
