24 Hour Essay
Placed my order [with 24houressay.co.uk]

Well, that was your first mistake.

These thieves blatantly stole the questions and answers on their "FAQ" page (24houressay.wordpress.com/faqs/) from another, old company. How pathetic does one have to be to call oneself a "professional writer" and then steal substantial Web site text from a legitimate company? Disgusting.

Bottom line-if the people behind 24houressay.co.uk have the gaul to steal text from competitors' sites, what makes you think that they won't steal part or all of the paper that they deliver to YOU, the customer?

Hey, "BR," you wouldn't happen to be the "Ben Roberts" who is the registered owner of 24houressay.co.uk, are you? Nah, of course not!

24houressay.co.uk was registered only 13 days ago (May 5, 2009), yet the sites claims to have been operating for 5 years.

There are also numerous lies throughout the site, including this smut:

the ONLY company that exclusively employs MA-educated English writers

Wrong! :P

24 Hour Essays was found in 1986 by two college professors
24houressays.com/samples.html

There was no internet in 1986. So the Professors must be doing it face to face or may be via phone and courier.

I received a mail from the same id: amintern@turner. I wonder if this is genuine or again some scam. I already got cheated by one, which, I think was a ploy by the EW.net guys, trying to find out what steps people are trying to take.

Yesterday, I received another mail; this person is claiming himself to be a part of the CNN channel and willing to expose EW.net

As I stated in another thread, the person appears to be legit. The email address is from turner.com (Time Warner), which owns CNN. All victims of EssayWriters.net should gladly accept CNN's offer.

If someone's claiming to be from a Turner company (i.e. CNN) and are e-mailing from a turner.com address, I'd relax and trust that they're from Turner. Would ukrainian gangsters really go to so much trouble?

24houressay.co.uk was registered only 13 days ago (May 5, 2009), yet the sites claims to have been operating for 5 years.

I am pretty sure that you have to re-register domain names every 2 years - plus the website claims they have been operating since 2001. So they could have registered the domain in 2001, 2003, 2005, 2007 and 2009...

Anyway, I have registered on here solely to give the thumbs up to 24houressay.co.uk. The blurb on the site may be exaggerated, but they ARE genuine. A friend of mine got a superb 5000 word essay done in less than 24 hours for £200.

When this person asked me about the site, I too was very sceptical and searched around to see if it was any kind of scam. But they honestly did deliver on time with good communication throughout the whole process. You may think I am some kind of shill, but I swear that this is all truthful. I just want other people to know that they can be trusted.

Quite simply, you are a liar. That is the most ignorant spin-job I have EVER read on this forum, and the mod should ban you for admitting your sole purpose of advertising/promoting. Take a hike, shill.

You sir, are an idiot.

I am no shill nor a liar. I am completely genuine and am just trying to help others by giving an honest report on 24houressay. I don't know what I can say that will convince you that I am telling the truth and nothing but the truth. I dare you to test me.

Regarding the domain name, I live in the UK and have a personal domain myself that I have to renew every two years. Plus if you look on nominet.org.uk/registrants/maintain/renew/ you will see:

"It is important to be aware that when you register a .uk domain name you do not 'own' that domain name. Instead, the domain name is registered to you for a period of two years, after which you will have the opportunity to renew it for a further two years."

So with that, I await my apology.

WritersBeware is yet again disparaging other sites and individuals whilst hiding from everyone the fact that she is associated with the essay site *********. She is here to promote her site by dissing the competition!

WHAT A LYING LITTLE HYPOCRITE!

You won't get an apology from that filth though - she is way too dishonest to ever apologise for her lies and libel. But we ALL know who she is now!!!

GOTCHA!

I dare you to test me.

No problem. Let's use your own example of nominet.org.uk, shall we?

who.is/whois/nominet.org.uk

As one can clearly see, the registration date appears as "before Aug-1996."

Now, let's take an example of a UK essay site that is nearly 4 years old, ukessays.co.uk.

who.is/whois/nominet.org.uk

As one can clearly see, the registration date appears as "22-Mar-2006."

Finally, let's take a look at Google's web records for 24houressay.co.uk prior to May 5, 2009:

Zero results. That's right-not a single page from the 24houressay.co.uk domain existed in Google's index prior to May 5, 2009.

CONCLUSION:

1. Records indicate that 24houressay.co.uk did not exist prior to May 5, 2009, neither in Whois records nor in Google's index.

2. The 2-year, revolving renewal requirement for .co.uk domains has absolutely no correlation to the original registration date that appears in Whois records.

I await my apology.

Keep waiting.

Isn't evidence grand?

Isn't evidence grand?

Some are too bloody thick to recognise evidence, even when you smack them silly with it.

After I hit them with evidence-backed facts that they are completely unable to refute, they tend to devolve into senseless, blabbering cretins who regurgitate previous morons' already-proven-false accusations from 2007. See rustyironchains, fracturegang, SpotTheDonkey (OxbridgeExpert), etc. It's a vicious cycle.

It could be possible they are operating for last five years on some other xyz.com and purchased this domain recently.

That was NOT 7zark7's claim, moron. He/she specifically claimed that 24houressay.co.uk has been operating since 2001. Learn the language before commenting and stop embarrassing your countrymen, idiot.

Just for kicks, why don't you identify 24houressay.co.uk's sister site that has been online since 2001?
7zark7  - | 4
Jan 09, 2010 | #23
That was NOT 7zark7's claim.

What!? I did not claim anything! I said that their website says that they have been operating since 2001... and that they COULD have been re-registering every two years (As I have to for my own personal domain) - an example of why the domain had a 2009 date on it. At no point did I say that they have definitely been operating since 2001.

It could be that they haven't been operating that long - I honestly don't know either way! I even said in my first post that some of their claims might be exaggerated. All I know is that they sorted my friend out with minimum hassle.

I think that it is you that should learn the language before pressing buttons on that keyboard...

Regarding testing me, I was taking about the essay itself, not the goddamn domain.

...and I will sit here and wait for your apology in calling me a liar. I find that sort of insinuation quite offensive - so would you like to serve up some of that evidence you are so fond of to prove such a claim?

Following on... interestingly enough, I have just checked a domain on who.is that I registered in 2000 and it has no record of it begin registered before 2006. So the "Registered on" dates supplied by who.is obviously do not tell the whole story of a domain...

7zark7 - take no notice to WriterBeware our resident hysterical lunatic retard - she represents ********* anyway, so discount all her recommendations or warnings of supposed 'scams': they are all her competition! She ASSumes like the ASS she is, and lashes out like a mentalist at anyone who can speak and write English properly, because she is verging on illiteracy so tries to hide her ignorance with arrogance and bluster and noise. Sad really.

Seriously, please note that there are many .co.uk sites that are NOT British or in the UK. Please check that the .co.uk site is a Limited Company registered at Companies House (use their free WebSearch service) and that they have a UK landline number.

But there are many: customessays.co.uk and many more which are foreign-run scams, ofetn run by Asians and/or Americans.

Needless to say, you get what you pay for: if you expect cheap, you get cheap. You should be paying £45-55 per 500 words 2.1. If you want 500 words for £20 and then you get a piece of crap then you deserve to be conned cheapskate!

Thanks for the heads-up SpotTheDonkey... :)

I just find it partially annoying that someone should get so defensive and then offensive at me when I am just trying to help other people. I know that my friend was umming and arring a lot when trying to decide if these people were legitimate - so I just wanted to reassure others in the same situation.

There was no internet in 1986. So the Professors must be doing it face to face or may be via phone and courier.

That is quite possible. The academic writing business started via bulletin board postings and newspaper ads for some of the writers here. They were academic writers and ghost writers long before the work moved online. So, there could actually be company owners and writers whose business histories could pre-date the internet.

It would appear that Ben Roberts or BR for this thread, did not keep his business under this domain name for too long. Perhaps it had something to do with his cover being blown or, too many ufund requests and negative publicity in relation to this company. Ben Roberts is a well- known academic scam artist. He is a chameleon in the business who moves from one domain name to another faster than he changes his underwear. Which is probably why he was never able to build his wealth like the others who dabble in the same con that he does. He remains in the lower middle-class bracket to this very day.
