Help! myassignmenthelp.com from India is trying to blackmail me!

Hey guys, I need help in solving this problem.

I had used myassignmenthelp.com's services a while ago, but I was given a bad quality assignment not worth 1-star.
I had tried talking to them but they had always tried to skip the talk about refund.

Now, I had made a dispute to Paypal for the refund and this is what they had a say:

Hello,

I tried to call you and your phone was ringing but you have deleted your number as well. Please make me understand, how would I be able entertain your refund request when you have already filed dispute and the money was already taken back for contest. The money is not with us. Still, I am trying to find the solution here that you cancel the dispute and we can proceed further.

As this conversation is not going further and I am bound to contest the charge. If i don't hear from you within 4 hours then I will proceed further as mentioned policy to contest the charge:

1. First of all, In order to contest the charge, I have to publish the assignment to make it 100% plagiarized.

2. I will further escalate all the proof and signup of agreement with the refund policy to agreed upon to legal department to contest. Also, Paypal or concern department contact your university to inquire about this assignment to make it more valid, before giving judgement on the dispute.

You also need to understand, Paypal will not not only listen to you, they also listen to us and at the end of the day proof matters. We have all the proof and signup and the policy you agreed upon.

Soon, I will be sending you the link of your assignment publication. After seeing that link if you still make up your mind then please let me know.

In short: They are blackmailing me, saying that if I do not cancel the dispute, they will try to submit the solution, and try to contact my University.

I don't know what to do, I had still follow the dispute, but I'm scared on what they are going to do. If someone sees this, please tell me what I should do ;-;)

Who determined it was only worth 1-star, you or your tutor? Maybe a partial refund would be the best solution in this case...

Judging by the word usage, the manager is from Kenya. Believe me :)

I been scammed and threatened by essay company

Dear community please help me

I am a university student recently I was behind my course work so I had one task left in my assignment to finish it. I decide to pay myassignmenthelp.com.DND to do it for me, the reason I was behind my course work and I was having an exam so I didn't want to risk my assignment not be done on time. I paid this company £78 when I place an order and they promised me they gonna finish it in two days time. Two days after they send me an incomplete work only 30% was done and 70% was missing so I ask them this isn't complete work, they said we need another 12 hours in order to finish the rest, and I said to them okay after 12 hours past they send me the work back with a little minor change so still 65% was not been done and I only had 4 hours left to submit my assignment. Again they said we need another 24 hours to pass the work to a different writer in order to complete the assignment, so I said to them no I have no more time to extend it any further would you please refund my money they simply said we can't refund any money and I spend hours and hours chatting with them about the problem I asked the could you please at least refund half of the money they kept saying to me we can't refund you any money so I decide to open a case in PayPal for half of the money - then the company send me an email threatening me if I don't cancel this case they will tell my University and gonna put my work as plagiarism etc:

I feel I been scammed and threatened at the same time I will attach a few image of the text communication please let me know what I should do.

A good friend of mine (now deceased) once told me the best advice I've ever been given: "Deny everything and demand proof." It's your word against theirs and you hold the high ground.

If they were a responsible company, with enough volume of work, they should have refunded what you asked them, provided that you were telling the truth. But some of these companies are trying to survive and they don't care about their reputation. This will tell other students to be careful about them.

I can tell you that I have come across so many complaints against this site. I have quite a few clients offering me their projects who got scammed by this site. The best advice I can give you here is avoid communication with them and let go. There is an instance where this company posted an entire essay of a student on a hurriedly created blog to ensure that he is not able to submit it. The student asked for a refund (and very fairly) as the work was sub-standard and not according to brief provided and they started black mailing him in return.

I would advice you to take some time out to carry out a thorough research on the writing services you have shortlisted before getting involved....

This company is well known for blackmailing students. They are in the business of stealing, not writing. They pretend to write a paper, which is not worth the price paid not the electricity used to write it, hoping the ESL student will not be able to tell the difference. Sadly, there are some ESL students who manage to tell the difference and try to get their money back. Any student who finds themselves in a similar situation should merely call their bluff. They don't have what it takes to actually publish your paper. They know that if they do that, the word will spread like wildfire, there goes their business.

Always remember that Paypal listens to both sides. In any dispute, Paypal uses an internal assessment process that leans on the side of the buyer at all times. Yes, they no longer had the money, it was witha mediator within Paypal. No, Paypal would not have, not then and not now, contacted your university. The university has nothing to do with the transaction a student enters into. All they care about is helping you get your money back and the company knew it. That is why they were trying to use blackmail to get you to drop the charges. They knoew they were on the losing end.
