Hi guys, I was looking for a company to get my dissertation done. Ivory research seemed like a legit company and for the prices they're charging I thought they would deliver something. So I ordered one assignment to try them out. it was 2000words assignment and I paid around 140pounds. They delivered on time, even a few days before deadline, but I've got E! For that money not even a minimum pass grade! Now Im 140 less in my pocket and Im desperate to find someone to do the dissertation!
Does anyone know anyone trustworthy? Has anyone had their dissertation written by a legit company which actually delivered? Please help, I'm very disappointed and quite desperate at the moment
Yeah, Ivory Research has been mentioned here as being pretty awful. If you already have a paper (albeit a bad one), your best bet may be to contact a writer directly and see if they can make something with it. Try someone here, or at EssayChat.

I wouldn't count on that. If you got that bad an essay, nobody is going to want to start with that as any kind of a guide for a good essay. Even a rewrite of a pretty good essay takes as long as writing from scratch, sometimes longer. Unless you get a very inexperienced writer, nobody is going to take that job. Your best bet would be to just use that first essay as nothing more than a warning for your next writer about what not to do and (maybe) to get a sympathy-based discount from the regular price of a brand new essay on the original topic.

But the post about receiving an E surprises me, really.
"E" is not a real grade, is it?

I don't think it is. Second, how poor the quality can be of the essay that wins an E for its holder: something out of the ordinary!

How is it that E is not an academic grade?
D- is a minimum pass grade and the lowest one is F.
Yeah, imagine the quality of it for £140. I realise this is my own fault that I didn't actually take my time to prove read, however I didn't have any. I emailed them, they said they could rewrite it for me if I could resubmit, unfortunately that's not the case.
I'll have to retake the whole module again I think.
Anyway, I just emailed them asking for my money back or another assignment written for free.
Don't think any of that is going to happen, but at least i tried.
That still doesn't solve my problem. Any ideas on decent dissertation writing services? Had anyone had their dissertation done? Any recommendations, please?

Even in my country D is the minimum passing grade, anyways.
They might send you another E-grade quality paper once again.

Ivory Research for Engineering dissertation?
Hi, I was wondering if anyone had any previous experience with this company. A friend of mine (who is ESL but a distinction level student) worked for them a while back, for a few months, and he told me that for Business and other theoretical subjects they are probably OK but he had no idea about their Engineering writers. So, if anybody had any experience with them fire away. Cheers!
Ivory Research Writing Company: scam very poor services i.e very poor written piece

Ivory research net
Ivory research.. please dont use. The writers are aweful.. the writers write what they think rather what you paid for. I paid £380 for an essay and got nothin in return. After the writer wrote a poor wotk, i request the work to be re-written and i try to get the writer more information to get a claerer understanding if what i want instead they were asking for another £140. I made a complain and requested my money bsck, but go nothing. The second essay i paid for 2:1, i got 41% . Please guys.. if youn dont want to fail and lose you money dont use. The writers are rubbish.
If you're a student who found this page, be careful about dealing with the site from the thread title. Several months ago, their whole website was put up for sale. The content on the main page was completely changed to something about "ivory elephant research" and it featured an elephant as an image. In the header, it read that "This site is for sale - contact us at ..." It was clear the previous owner wanted to keep search engine rankings while waiting for the sale to be completed. Then, after a week or so, the site was put back to what was original. I don't know if the site was actually sold, but at this point it is impossible to tell who owns it. From my extensive experience throughout the UK uni, I can say that:
- Pretty sites with beautiful designs are usually owned by Pakistani or Indian services. They don't want students to focus on their, typically, bad service, but on the packaging. Out of 5 beautiful sites I've encountered, 3 were from India, 1 from Pakistan, one from Ukraine. This is what I found out after I ordered from them. All 5 claimed to be located in the UK, but they are really not. Pretty design, but on average 50%-60% grade (in one case the paid paper was not delivered to me at all - they refunded). There is one nice site from the UK (UkEssays), but their prices are ridiculous.
- Don't ever count on an "excellent" grade when you order a paper. Even if you pay 20% extra, the paper is going to be written by the same writer, so you waste your money. I've never received a "Masters A" grade despite paying a lot of money (with UKEssays it was close to $100 per page!). The closest for me to an "A"-grade level was GraduateWriter (technology paper), but it took an extra revision.
- Reviews of essay services by students.. they are almost all fake. After one of my paper was completed, I was given a link to leave a review. That time I was angry because of the paper being late and it receiving a bad grade (again), so I took time to write a 1-page review of the service / writer. It was accepted, but it NEVER showed up on the reviews site. I should've saved it, I could post it here. I think they can pick which reviews to show, so my advice to students is not to skip leaving a review because it will never show up in public. I saw some services having hundreds of reviews over 80%, but let me tell - students don't waste writing good reviews; they can only write bad ones, but they never show up.
Good luck.
I said it once and I'll say it again, the more polished the look of a website, the more one should question what kind of people are behind it. Remember that people that talk the most are the ones who normally can't deliver in the end. Ivory Research is one company that barks loud but doesn't have the ability to bite. Their website glows to the point of suspicion as far as I am concerned. If you look over this website, several other students have already been previously burned by the same company. The biggest factor for me, that indicates they should not be trusted is that they accept credit cards but not Paypal as a method of payment. Most likely because they would never pass the Paypal verification process. This is one website that should be considered for any work only if a student is desperate and out of time to consider any other service for their writing needs.

I agree with this. Having an extremely polished site to the point that it appears to be too advertised rather than content-focused appears to be a trend in essay writing companies that are unreliable. In my opinion, however, it would still be important for the student to "test" these writing companies by placing smaller orders to ensure that they are not being ripped-off. Other key takeaways would also be to focus more on the reliability of the customer service and how communicative the writers are, taking into account that these definitely can impact the rest of the writing to a drastic extent. You wouldn't want to work with any company that advertises themselves as reliable - but, when you try to reach out to them, they take either too long to respond or are vague with their responses. To me, you can easily determine if a writing company is reliable simply by inquiring and asking them. If any red flags seem to surface, then the client has all the will to back-out of it to ensure that they won't be scammed of their precious and hard-earned money. Better yet, just contact writers directly through whichever platform or forum you find around to make certain that you will be getting a one-by-one and face-to-face communication with the writer himself/herself.
There's nothing wrong, necessarily, with having a polished fully-functional website, obviously. The point, however, is that some of the worst of the worst scam companies in this industry put a ton of money into their websites for the specific purposes of presenting the appearance of legitimacy and of masking the fact that they provide either an unusably-bad product or nothing at all after receiving your money. Some of them are easily identifiable, anyway, simply because the English in their web copy is atrocious. The most dangerous of these have figured out that horrible ESL English is a dead giveaway, so they've also put money into having real NES writers provide their web copy.
Most companies are scams and just after making quick cash. They spend a lot of money in marketing their websites and receive several clients who they do not care about maintaining. I think it is high time students start dealing with writers directly. On that note, I offer quality writing services at affordable costs. You can reach me through my gmail address.
Don't ever equate the high charges of a writing company with quality work and a high academic grade. I would be weary of dealing with such a company because they are overcharging for the work they are hired to do. If you can't negotiate the price, based on being a first time client, I would not want to deal with such a company. This is the advantage that freelance writers have over the companies. They can provide sample work if asked to do so, negotiate the price of a paper with a student, and, because there is an actual direct line of communication between the student and writer, allow the student to decide if this is the writer that they think can deliver on the type of quality they need to appear in the written work.
