I recently got an email from kenyawriting.com after posting on essaychat.
They sound ok but i need to make sure they have a good reputation.
I would really appreciate any feedback.

May be you should try them because it is hard to get genuine positive comments from the forumites. More often than not, a positive comment will come from an under cover marketing agent while a negative one may be from a competitor. That's the writing industry for you.

I did try to look kenyawriting.com myself and it seems that the website is heavily SEO'd. As you can see they are trying to put all possible keywords at the bottom of the page. I don't think if a US citizen or any of the British English people will try to take the services of non English people.

I get work from US and British natives many a time yet they know fully well that I am not a native speaker.

I have not come into contact with any Kenyan writers yet; however, I must say that NOTHING in the world is 100% (either on the right or wrong side). 100% is only the Self of God.

Kenyan writers... 100% bad.

This one actually needs a clarification. Are you saying all Kenyan writers are bad or the company Kenyawriting is 100% bad? In each of them you have a case to prove on how you arrived at the generalization.

Kenyan writers... 100% bad.

I have to agree. When I started my company I did have one particular writer from Kenya who was really excellent both in the quality of content and language usage. However, he then began his own writing company in Kenya and started sending me work from them and the work was absolutely terrible so I had to stop using them altogether.

I am a writer from Kenya but work for a freelance company based in the US (The best). I worked for kenyawriting[DND*] and they never paid me. Am really good I know but many writers are also scammed by the writing companies. Its better to choose I company with good reputation and make sure they have a money back policy if the work is not of your paid for standard. {I can provide proof if requested}

You must be a very 'GOOD' writer

Its better to choose I company

Can you construct even one sentence correctly?

I am surprised how you got hired by this company.

Try out another career, I am sure writing isn't the thing for you.

Hey, sorry about that. I know I have to "Avoid vague qualifiers and choose the precise word" to be a good writer. Thanks for the reminder, but when it comes to business I believe you would never see this.

Hi Karen :)

I'm Kenyan, I think I'm pretty good at a bunch of disciplines - are you hiring by any chance?

Africa ResearchPlease, stay away from them. They dont pay.
They will lie to you about plagiarism, the client rejected the papers...etc.
Please avoid them and share the message out.
They do not pay.
I did a dissertation of 12000 words and imagine they never paid me.
Please, dont even try logging onto their site.
Stay away from them.

kenyawriting.com [DND*] DO NOT PAY WRITERS.
Please avoid it by all means. They do not pay writers.
I wrote 12,000 paged dissertation of an Engineering Student, with 50 references, In-text citation withing 2 days. I checked plagiarism and the score was 5%, which is the best to achieve.

After submiting, these fools went silent, they kept sending me other jobs to do, and i insisted that i have to see my pay for the first job before i do any other job.

After two weeks, after confronting them and even sending several alarms to other frelancers globally, they responded to my mail claiming to have found 34% score of plagiarism.

Then when i insisted that they tell me which checker did that uncalled for result, they again went missing.

I wish to plead to fellow freelancers, please keep off this site. They do not pay.

If you want evidence of this, please just contact me, I will post it even here upon request. because i have even the messages we used to chat during the pay struggle.

These people are baaaaaad.

If you have any question, contact me on lazohgl@gmail

I am not a competitor of theirs, i am a wounded lion which is outta here to safe guard my territory of lions ( freelancers) from falling victims of such idiots.

Please spread the word, let people be safe.

Stopped reading after "WHO ARE WE". I guess that would be enough for the answer.

If you haven't become familiar with the way that Kenyan writers have been brutally beaten back at this forum each time they try to run a scam by the students who visit this forum, then you obviously don't understand how bad Kenyan scammers can be. The name of the website alone is not just a red flag, it's on fire! You can't really trust any Kenyan writer at this point because they have just burned too many students and have recently taken to blackmailing the students in order to illegitimately earn from the paper that they wrote for the unsuspecting student. It is important that you are not only cautious about dealing with these writers, but that you ignore any services they offer. If you want to protect your identity and make sure that you have a usable paper to model your actual essay or research paper after, you won't hire the services of this company. I can't believe that they even have the guts to advertise their citizenship in their website url. It is extremely difficult to trust any writer from that website. I would not recommend that anybody take that sort of risk. It isn't worth it.

Since the company is now listed on the Do Not Discuss roster of ES, it is safe to assume that these scammers have been caught one too many times peddling their fake trade. As such, the complaints have ballooned and a quick search of their reputation both on the web and at this forum will indicate just how bad it is to do business with them. From what I have heard, they eventually had to give up their emailing practice because it was bringing in business, but also causing more refunds in the process. It is not a company that can hold its head high when it comes to this forum and its members. The mere fact that they are Kenyan already indicates a big problem with their writers, more so with the type of service that the company delivers.

Kenyan writers have a bad reputation online because they have been part of the reliable slave labor of these dark writing companies. I cannot understand why a writing company would actually flaunt that they use Kenyan writers, and that they are actually located in Kenya. Do not be fooled by the .uk url ending. They are in Kenya. Their services are mediocre at best. Their clients will not find any satisfaction in their work and the grades they receive. It would be best to steer clear of this writing company. The only thing sure when hiring this service is that it will be more trouble than it is worth to the student.

Another Kenyan website that killed itself. The domain name is no longer active and does not have any trace of ever having been in existence on the web. The Kenyan writers really could not stay active for long in the academic writing business because of their negative reputation. This prevented them for actually growing their writing skills and business intentions. While there may have been some fair players coming from Kenya, the distrust rating was simply too high for these companies to overcome.
