Do legit websites still exist?

The only legit site I know is custom-writing.org but the problem is their prices are so HIGH!

Looking for a site that can do grade 11 math homework for a reasonable price.

Any suggestions?

It depends on what you consider a reasonable price, and what area of math you're talking about ("11th grade math") doesn't really mean anything--you could be taking Calculus, or Geometry, or Trig, or even Algebra).

There are, but you must adopt the old caveat emptor mentality. Many are scams from countries outside legal jurisdiction that produce elementary to middle school papers at best. I work for a legitimate site that insists on quality, pricing is fair for the level of research you receive. Look through some sample papers, look at the qualifications of the writers, do a bit of research - you will be glad you did!

Eleventh grade math homework in essay form? Haven't heard that before. Can't wait to see what those Trigonometry professors are handing out.

Yes, there are legitimate essay sites, but since the forums doesn't allow you to post positive things about essay sites, it's hard to find a professional one. I just debunked rumors of one essay website in which people thought was a scam, but that's a whole other story.

It's frustrating sometimes. Laugh out loud.

Yes, they do - and here is one of them paper choice. Most of my friends are using it for paper writing and some of them even bought dissertations from this website. I have used it several times for my accounting assignments and was satisfied with the results I got.

This website is good for cheap prices and high quality writing. Also, they are giving discounts even if you are the first time user. I think you should try and make sure of it by your own :)

It's extremely difficult to find legit websites out there. Most of them seem to locate themselves in scam central. That's what I call the companies coming out of Pakistan, India, and the Ukraine. These websites do not really offer high quality work even if they claim do to so. Just reading their website makes my head hurt. It is also evidence of the kind of writing that their writers may provide their upcoming clients. If I were you, I will not look for legitimate writing websites due to the difficulty it entails. I would however, recommend looking up a reputable and legitimate freelance writer online instead.

Just running that keyword through Google will return a number of legitimate searches. You can find the right writer for the kind of work that you need to be done. These freelancers are your best bet over the writing companies because these people run their own show and their grammar is flawless, impeccable in fact.

If you think about it, yes, the legit websites do exist. They just aren't connected with reputable writing companies. These are connected with reputable freelance writers instead. They are much more reliable and definitely worth the money you will be paying them to help you with your writing.

Hey guys, I've just signed up after trawling these pages for a couple of days now with nothing but utter confusion. What a **** storm. Anyway I have assessment pieces due at the exact same time and with all the pressure mounting I decided to just go for it.

I ordered through a P*******Papers. Was quite expensive. Everything seems to be going well so far (they've assigned writers apparently).

I will give feedback as soon as I receive my paper. I also emailed a freelance writer via this site but he didn't reply in time. I may ask for his assistance in the future as he seems legit.

Anyway, I'll post back soon (paper is due back tonight).

It's quite obvious you are not a 'Student' but a 'Paper Marketer' (cough cough) and posting self-reviews is not the best option here (it may result in a suspension).

Well I don't really know what to say to that. I am a student but I believe I made a mistake by posting the name of the service?

I can't seem to edit it either so apologies for that. Can someone delete that post please.

@eggman this forum isn't in the habit of endorsing any writing service. Most of the participants here are self-made freelance writers who do not relish the idea of being lumped together by definition with the "writing service" companies. Specifically the Ukrainian and India based companies that give freelance writing a bad name. Endorsements for these companies are frowned upon, regardless of their reliable status in the eyes of the student. Stating your intent in general terms is more welcome than the previous post that you made. The said post sounded more like a planned advertisement for the company rather than a student actually using the services. We get several of those types here every so often so you have to be careful about the way that you write. If misconstrued, you end up being thought of as something that you probably are not.

@Major is definitely right when he said that your post sounded more like self promotion. It would be in your best interest to first, get to know the group of people you are dealing with here and then adjust your posts accordingly. If you must speak of writing services, try to be vague and do not promote any particular site. We know that some students are actually paid a "referral" fee for each successful order placed through the advertising push of the "referring" student and you could have easily been assumed to be one of those types through the post that you made.

@Smiley now that you mention it, it does look bad. I would really like it deleted. How can I contact a mod?

Also just curious. Why is there a "recommended services" tab on the front page? That was part of the reason why I chose a certain freelance writing establishment over others :(

Ps can you tell me if I've just thrown my money down the drain regarding my order? If you can't tell me for various reasons that's fine.

I don't think you can get that post deleted. It's never been done before here. I have seen instances though where the OP had the thread closed instead so that no responses can follow his own mistaken post. The problem, is that you are not the OP in this thread. You can try emailing info@essayscam.org about deleting your post. I can't guarantee that they will respond to your email or that it will result in the deleting of your post though. Still, its worth a shot if you really want to.

If you notice, those websites on the Recommended Services page all have closed threads now. I am not sure why the threads were closed but, my guess is that it was closed because this forum no longer directly recommends writing services to students. That is something that you do at your own risk. Essay Scam is not in the habit of endorsing these websites as the forum does not have a way by which to validate the claims of these companies. Hence, they can't endorse what they can't verify.

I am not going to say that you threw your money down the drain by dealing with one of these companies. That is not my place to say. If things work out fine for you, then you are one of the few who had a good experience with them. If it doesn't work out, then all I can offer you is my sympathy. Don't worry, I have a feeling that things just might work out fine for you this time around :-) Just remember, if it is a failed engagement with the company, they don't represent the whole industry. The freelancers are not like those fly by night academic writing companies.

Here's my update that probably no one cares about. My very first papers from unnamed sources:

Paper 1 - Utter trash from someone with the brains of a 12 old. Required 2 hours of editing resulting in late submission.

Paper 2 - Exceptionally well written. So well written I was stressing over the legitimacy. Turns out it was completely original.

Thought it was funny. Had to share

Suggested Editor@deezLynch Technically, the services offered by these sites are not meant to help the student cheat. Most specially with the freelancers, their aim to simply assist with the student in their learning process. There is a big difference between "assisting" and cheating. Assisting is helping the student out with their homework and research. They still attend the classes themselves and have to take the qualifying exams without the help of the people they hired to help with their papers. Cheating would be taking the tests for them and making sure that they pass. That crosses the line of academic decency and morals with any freelance writer. As for academic companies, they refuse such requests if the owners have a moral high ground.

The work we do here is in terms of helping ease the academic burden of the student. Something that you can identify with I am sure when you consider what it takes to be a college student these days. Please note the differences between the two. There is a misconception in the way that you view the work of freelance writers and the possible services that academic writing companies offer. In fact, those are two distinct student assistance services that you have to consider. Freelancers have moral considerations and would never help a student cheat. The companies, are more focused on earning money from the student first and foremost, regardless of how it has to be done.

@eggman Of course we are interested. Thanks for sharing. I knew you would be back with your experience stories. I am sure that you also learned some pretty rough lessons as to how to deal with these writing companies. Most specially when you have an adult with the brain of a 12 year old writing your paper. Maybe now you can see why it is safer to hire freelance writers instead? While I do not endorse any of the freelance services here as that is against the rules, I am only pointing out that there are better and more stress free ways of getting the academic assistance that you need when you need it. So, what did you do about the paper that was a late submission?

I hope you successfully received a refund for the paper. There is no excuse for that kind of quality. What makes it worse is that it made you late for your submission. They should give you a full refund and, even though the second paper was alright in quality, it should make you think twice about hiring them again because you may not get the same writer twice. I know because the company I previously worked for often withheld my client requests when the client asked for my services too many times. They wanted to give the client a "chance" to try other writers out. Lots of good that did them :-D

Okay. I'm tired of beating around this technical bush. There are a number of reputable services available to help you, including those advertising in here, but the best all-around essay company is by far Student Network Resources. They aren't paying me a cent for this endorsement, but it sounds like students need some help finding a legitimate essay service and this one can't be beat..

alright

No such word...

p.s. There's two sides to that story...
Smiley73  4 | 591 ☆☆
Aug 12, 2017 | #25
@ProfessorVerb There is such a word as "alright". Look it up. It is an acceptable alternative spelling of the word "all right". The correct spelling of the word is as old as the "potato" or "potatoe" debate. It is often used in informal writing and was said to have been influenced by the "already" and "altogether" analogy. The history of the word "alright" and how it came to be can easily be accessed via Google or Merriam-Webster Online.I take it you are a purist writer who believes only the old way of spelling words is acceptable. I will grant you that and accept your correction. I am more of a modernist in writing who accepts the casual spelling of certain words when used in a non-academic setting, which I thought we had at this forum.

Yes, I do agree that there are two sides to every story. In this case though, it is the story of the student that was told and I listened. If the company has a representative actively participating in this forum, I would also be a willing listener / reader of their side of the story should they wish to share it with us. My comments were mere suggestions to help @eggman get his money back for the bad paper that he received. I did not mean to demean or devalue the company whose services he used. Please don't get offended.

As for the reputable writing companies, I agree that they do exist but not in a great number. Those companies are few and far between because, as far as I can tell, the Ukrainians have cornered a section of the market by using different company names that use the same writers pool. I found that out because I accidentally applied for work at company without knowing that it was a sister company of the company I was already working for at the time. So I assume that they run the business in the very same way, regardless of which company you sign up with for services. I applaud you for being able to recommend a good academic writing company. I'm sure that the students who read your post will be helped by the information.

"all right".

Can't help it -- it ain't acceptable to me... According to the linguists at Merriam-Webster, people have been spelling "alright" almost as long as the now academically acceptable "all right," but as I say, I think it's poor style.

I appreciate your conciliatory response, though, which is unusual in here. For what it's worth, I'm certain your client would have a different version of this event but I like to think that anyone who is so persistent must have a valid point -- been there myself. Good luck.

ain't

I would appreciate it if you use higher level written English since you are a professor after. It would be more educational for all concerned if you use the proper term which is "is not" or "isn't" instead of "ain't". "Ain't" is, according to Merriam-Webster, catching on in American English but, has its history "in the habitual speech of the less educated", and is often used to catch attention and provide emphasis in writing. That said. I feel that you being a professor, should be speaking English at a higher standard than your slang speaking students, don't you think? Just setting things straight since you did say "alright" is not acceptable to you. I was quite surprised that you cannot accept "alright" and yet you say "ain't" instead of "is not" or "isn't". "Ain't" is not acceptable to me either. Sorry about that :-)

Thanks for being so kind. I am not here to make enemies. As freelance writers, we belong to a small and select group of higher education level people who should not be at each other's throats for the simplest mistakes or opposing points of view. We should be supporting each other and helping each other get more employment by referring services to one another. By interacting with one another here and making friends, we grow our network of contacts. So why not take a conciliatory stance regarding everything right? I hope we can be friends...

@eggman, I am sorry to hear about your experience with the other writing service. While the writer probably did the best work that he could, seeing as how you thought it was a good paper compared to the previous one, it might have just not passed the criteria of your professor / teacher. With that said, I can understand why you will seek a refund and perhaps, further compensation. I hope that you will be able to resolve the issue with the company. How long has it been since you closed the order with them? Normally, a company has a 2 week revision and refund schedule for each order you place. However, if you placed it directly with an independent writer, I am not sure about how a refund and further compensation request would work.

If you paid via PayPal, you would be able to file a proper grievance and most likely, get a complete refund as PayPal tends to side more with the "buyer" than the "seller". I hope that you get your money back and that this bad experience will not make you stop seeking academic help from reputable people and places. There are some bad eggs in the basket coming from both parties but I don't doubt that you will come across on-the-level service providers sooner rather than later. Please do keep me posted about what is going on with your refund request. I hope it comes to a speedy and fair resolution soon.

@34tuforlunch It is tough to find legit business, but yes, there still exists many legit businesses. Then comes the PRICE. Well, it depends from person to person. What one might find expensive, the other might not. But, usually if you are looking for custom writing then the price range is often a little high as the expert will tailor make the assignment as per your needs with no compromise on quality (again if this is a company providing good services). I think, you could probably follow the A-T-E-K principle here : affordable, trustworthy, experienced and knowledgeable.

@Amy3 That is pretty sound advice that you have given. It is one that is worthy of noting. The problem is though, that these companies all sound legit when you read the company blurb on the website. Unless the English grammar used on the website is truly horrible, most students would not think twice about considering their services. It is best to err on the side of caution and consider the services of academic outsourcing companies that have been around for a number of years already. Sometimes, the location of the company doesn't matter if it has been in the business long enough, like say 7 years or more and has a track record of quality work and cooperation with the students.

These sorts of companies truly exist and are the ones that guarantee a higher than average quality of work from their writers. I am only speaking of companies and not independent writers. If a student wants to consider using a legitimate writing company or at least consider using a reputable company, then our Essay Directory should be able to help point the student in the right direction.

At this very moment, there are several bad name companies out there that are folding shop. The illegitimate writing sites have been affected by the lack of formal classes and the lack of orders coming in. They have closed their businesses because their scam, of not paying their writers properly, has also resulted in an exodus of their writers, all of whom are now trying to jumpstart their independent writing careers. The legitimate sites have won. We are the ones who stand tall and proud, still able to do business in a year when our fake competitors are being run out of the market by their mismanagement of their dark web companies.

Legitimate websites still exist these days although they are struggling to stay afloat. The industry needs more students to come back to the fold and hire human writers so that these legitimate companies that employ highly skilled writers can continue to exist. I believe the comments in this thread already drive the point home regarding how to find legitimate websites. I have nothing more to add to that. The information is still valid.

Legitimate websites still exist these days although they are struggling to stay afloat.

I wonder whether illegitimate sites are having an even harder time than legit sites and writers, because illegitimate providers necessarily rely much more on first-time customers, whereas legit providers rely primarily on long-term repeat customers whose continued business they've earned by delivering good work.
