cheap-essays.net - is it a student scam?

So, I've been sick and have to make up a whole bunch of homework. I had one essay that I just couldn't do and my teacher won't give me any leeway. Finally, I gave up and asked cheap-essays.net to write it for me. It seemed very legit - they even called me on my cell phone to confirm my order. Well, they were supposed to send it to me yesterday and I haven't seen anything. I'm really new to this. Help? Update: I received the essay today. It's not incredibly well written, but they did follow my instructions. With some editing, it should suffice. I certainly won't use these people again, but I'm just relieved to have something to work with.

i have just been ripped off by this fraudulent company, i had concerns from the first few days as when the writer was writing to me there were many mistakes within the text. i brought this up with the "staff" part of the site and they kept saying dont worry everything will be ok. they did give me a paper but it was all copied and pasted from medline, and it was two days to late for me to do anything about it. they told me that they would give me a full refund of $659 if i provided them with the assignment that i wrote so that they could see how a good paper should be written.

obviously i told them that i was not going to give them my work as they would sell it as their own i havent had a reply since then. i would advise any student who is running out of time on an assignment NOT to use this company as you will still have to do the assignment your self as what they produce is a pile of crap.CUSTOM TERM PAPERS are rip of merchants, who have no intention of giving anyone a good assignment all they want is your money. they also go by the name privatewriters.com DONT USE THEM

please dont use their services in any case. I've been fooled by them once when i payed a BIG amount for my order and i havnt received anything and my work never even appeared to be stated! I see that this is the most carefully and attentively organized service i've ever used. Yes. they are not too cheap, but they completely meet expectations. So, for this forum is created to post only about frauds, i propose to close the topic.

Well, you obviously already know that using the superiorpapers.com frauds from Ukraine was a mistake. Other than that, I'd suggest that you immediately ignore ANY site that charges less than $17 per page due to the fact that--by charging less than $17 per page--ripoff services can't afford to pay qualified, American writers and still make a worthwhile profit. They falsely claim to be "American," and YOU get shafted after receiving garbage!

However, I still do not know an efficient way to find an excellent writing service. WB suggested I judge by the price per page- good advice but seems a long way to go about finding a quality site.

One can never find a foolproof system/service as no business can satisfy all its customers, nonetheless, the best way is to go by reviews of people who have experienced a particular service. Another way is to go by trial and error and as soon as you find your writer, just string along...

I can only suggest you try custompapers.com. I have used them in the past and have been quite pleased. They bid on jobs so they tell you within 24 hours whether they have a writer who is an expert and what the fee is based on the time frame. I got burned when I used Essay-Paper.Net, so avoid them at all cost!

I paid for over $100 an essay and it got me an F. They ignored ALL of my instructions for the paper, so I have to take the class over again. Please, avoid this site at all costs. I've tried to get some sort of compensation from them, but I have gotten the run around. Now, maybe this is because of the Christmas season, but I'm betting not. I've just runned onto the above website. It was pretty obvious even to me who am not an expert, that there is something wrong. The website is filled with gramatical errors however in the section about us, they post some photos of themselves, implicating as if they are native british...

some of the grammar errors:

"add another a+ to your transcript by turning in a unique essay" shouldn't it be "an unique essay" instead a

or

"below you find how our writers help a 15 year old high school student", shouldn't it be helped instead help, and the best thing is that the letter of the "15 year old high school student" states that she is 17.

I just checked out the site Nia recommended and seems legitimate and doesn't seem to use ESL writers. It also looks like they are a US based company.

I will have to give them a try to find out what they really are :P
