How do I get a refund from a writing website essayservices.org that scammed me?

They offer a money back guarantee but will not respond to my requests for one. Has anyone ever been successful in getting their money back from a custom writing essay website like essayservices.org? They offer an unlimited number of free revisions also but they did 1 for me and I requested another but I never recieved my 2nd one. Their phone number is disconnected and they won't answer me on live chat ever since I ordered my paper from them. Ican only communicate through email and when I ask for a refund they send me an email back but it doesn't mention anything about giving me a refund.

Start a chargeback with your credit card company.

Essayservices.org SCAM DO NOT USE THEM

I used Essayservices.org for a small project and what they sent me could not be used. I requested a refund on the report and they agreed. One month later I've not heard from them and their number is not a working number...I should of called them prior to making this order, my mistake. They have a chat where you can reach someone and they will tell you, "the refund is coming" This is the runaround. Do not accept this answer from any one of these sites. I'm sure you've all returned an item from a store where they can issue a refund instantly.

Get them to tell you that on a chat again, take a screenshot, and contact your bank/credit card about a chargeback. You've waited so long that this might not be possible anymore, but it's worth a shot.

Okay, this company is well known as for robbing their clients. They do not even had a proper roster of writers (of any sort) on staff. They pretty much just to the cut and paste, plagiarized jobs themselves. They never plan on delivering a usable paper and they have no intention of ever refunding money to the client. This is why you should never trust a company that tells you to pay full and upfront. You will never see your money again. Wait, I take that back, you will see your money again, as a charge on your credit card or a debit on your bank card.

All legitimate freelancers and companies ask for upfront payments.

Exactly.

I've explained this here countless times, but legitimate companies and writers don't schedule (let alone work on or deliver any portion of) any project that hasn't been paid for in full at the time the order is placed. The only exception might be a brand new and totally inexperienced writer who is really very desperate to find clients. Busy writers can't take the chance that any project they spend their time writing might not be paid; and they don't have the time (or need the hassle of having) to chase after payments for already-delivered work. Customers at least have access to online forums and other resources where they can check out the reputations of writers, but there's nothing comparable for writers to check out the "reputations" of every client who wants to order a project for the first time. If new clients are still apprehensive about trusting a writer even after doing their due diligence to check out their reputations, the only reasonable option is simply to order a very small project at first, and make sure to do so with plenty of time before the deadline in case things don't work out with that writer.

Aside from clarifying the refund procedure with the company prior to sign-up, consider contacting your payment provider prior to service hering as well. Specifically ask about their non-tangible internet purchases. If pressed for the type of service, you do not have to admit to writing services in case they have a policy against that. Instead refer to educational help or online classes. They are more receptive to such enquries and will assist you with relevant information. Doing so will keep you better informed of your refund options and process should the writing company try ghosting you. This is not a foolproof process but it is a logical option in such cases.
The opinions are that of the author's alone based on an individual capacity. Opinions are provided "as is" and are not error-free.

There's no such thing as any payment processor or credit card company that has a "policy" prohibiting payments for writing services; that's just silly. First, most writing services have nothing to do with academic writing. Second, nobody's ever going to interrogate you about what kind of "writing services" you paid for. Third, you could literally say "It was a payment for an academic essay" without consequence. If any payment processor -- such as PayPal, for example -- does actually prohibit academic ghostwriting, that only means that they don't allow seller accounts for those prohibited services; but they still protect their customers. If anything, you're probably much more likely to have a dispute resolved in your favor if it turns out that the seller took your payment for a service prohibited by the processor. It's not like admitting that you're trying to execute a "charge back" for your payment to a hit man who failed to kill your victim or to a cocaine dealer because he sold you baby powder.
