Essay sites with the most customers?

Out of interest, ignoring the issue of who is and who isn't a scam artist, I was wondering which sites are the most popular in terms of the numbers of customers they get. I'm sure an exact figure is impossible, but people must have an idea.

I know the answer, as far as a single site is concerned, but we can't name names. The best thing to do is to check domains' traffic at Alexa.com.

You must be joking. You mean the traffic you stole from the Pakistani domains (that add up to your domain?)

All, rest assured that I have absolutely no clue about that which stu spews. However, since I have been attacked (yet again) with zero provocation, I feel the need to post an indirect link to the commercial site about which I had not planned to elaborate:

This thread was started with the stated purpose of avoiding this type of argument. Alexa is an independent website; the numbers they report are objective and reliable. If you would like to start a new thread concerning how and why certain sites gained their popularity, I believe that would be perfectly reasonable and perhaps even productive. I fully understand undertow's desire to avoid that issue here, however, and join him (her?) in respectfully asking you to keep accusations--however well-founded they may (or may not) be--out of this thread.

As a pre-emption, and in an effort to remain neutral here, I would ask WB to refrain from responding to stu4 in this thread. Surely there is ample room elsewhere on this forum.

took too long to type my carefully worded response....can it stop now, though?

I can only ignore so much . . . . It seems that I get attacked every, single time I first post in a thread, no matter what the topic.

Essaywriters.net manages to maintain a number of 400-500 orders during the peak season (March - May, Nov-mid Dec), 200-300 orders during the regular season and less than a hundred (right now there are.. 5. :p) in the off-season.

Maybe it's your pleasing personality. :D

essaywriters has scads of orders, but lately, a majority of those are for the taking, at $3.60 per page (or less). boooo! I remember a past essaywriters fondly, before they changed their fine structure, started offering all these cheapo orders, and completely screwed me. anyway, they always have orders, if you can deal with total ********.

When will the intentional promotion end?

According to its own site, BestEssays.com charges customers a bare minimum of $19.99 per page for what is largely misrepresented, ESL writing, yet EssayWriters.net (the back-end for BestEssays.com) pays the writer only $3.60 per page (if he or she is lucky enough to escape without being hit with a "fine").

So . . . .

Customer pays $199.90 to BestEssays.com for a basic, 10-page essay (guaranteed to be written by a "native English speaker"). That 10-page order then appears on the writers' board at EssayWriters.net. The writer who takes the order receives only $36.00.

That sound about right, rusty?

So, writers, do you realize that you're playing EssayWriters.net's FOOL to the tune of only 18% of each customer's payment? Does EssayWriters.ent do 82% of the work? The writer should receive at least 50% of the customer's payment-every time.

What's the difference between standard quality and premium quality?

1) Does anyone actually believe they have pools of "standard" and "premium" writers, and that orders are divided accordingly? Or that writers (even if they were paid the extra $2/page) would make a noticeably different effort in the composition of these two classes of papers?

2) IF a customer believed that this was the case, would they want to hire a company that either had lower-quality writers on staff or were OK with their writers turning in work that was beneath their capabilities?

What's the difference between standard quality and premium quality?

Plus, who believes that ANYONE at that company is qualified to judge "quality" writing in the English language?
pheelyks
Jun 29, 2009 | #14
True enough, but why not batter them with the stuff they openly proclaim (i.e., "we're willing to provide a lower quality service than we are truly capable of")?

In something as qualitative and inherently subjective as writing, there is no real way of deciding on a level of quality and regularly producing it. Either a writer's work is the best they can produce in a given time frame, or it isn't.

I disagree. She gets attacked because she's a stinking bigot.

Ok - so should I be looking to hire a traffic thief??? What does that even mean?!

So, writers, do you realize that you're playing EssayWriters.net's FOOL to the tune of only 18% of each customer's payment?

Not fair!!!!! Why can't the rest of us find premium, native English-speaking quality writers at 3.6 per page!!!???? Seriously though ... does nobody find payment in peanuts a tad insulting?!

Does anyone actually believe they have pools of "standard" and "premium" writers

They do but standard writers are assigned all types of orders. There are no standards at all ... an undergrad student-writer can be assigned a graduate piece of work ...

Either a writer's work is the best they can produce in a given time frame, or it isn't.

Precisely. Therefore, HD (high distinction) orders should only ever be assigned to writers who have a track record of consistently producing truly excellent work, after which they should be thoroughly vetted by QC.

Plus, who believes that ANYONE at that company is qualified to judge "quality" writing in the English language?

Why ever not?! Next you'll be claiming that they need to be educated and know English (very well) if they are to judge English academic writing. A rather archaic mindset, WB, and not at all consistent with the industry's more popular business model.

You are attacked because you post lies here

And EW rises in WB's defence:

I disagree.

I would absolutely LOVE to see some proof of my "bigotry." How about you, OR? Exwriter? I can't wait!

I will concede, however, that I am a "fraudster bigot." I have utter disregard for a fraudster's color, ethnic background, or country of origin. I despise all fraudsters equally.

Chacha, even EW_writer thinks that you are a championship-caliber retard, so just shut up. At least EW_writer endeavors to put some brain cells to work. You are the absolute worst possible representation of an ESL writer. You're an embarrassment to qualified, ESL writers and the embodiment of what is wrong with the industry.

OR's sentence is in perfect English. "It" refers to you, and OR is claiming that you are certifiably insane. OR then asks if we should tell authority figures about your insanity in an effort to provide you with the treatment that OR claims you need. Is that clear?

I'm sure an exact figure is impossible,

You will not receive an accurate response from anyone here. There will be people referring to A.I. results, which can be manipulated for a fee. Then there are the self-promoters who believe exaggerating their numbers will bring in new clients. There is noway anybody here can come up with an honest figue due to self interests they wish to serve.

checking domain traffic is not really reliable as there are companies that pay for boosted traffic results. These paid results are used to entice investors or falsely advertise the company services. All the companies can claim to be number one, and have varied evidence to prove it. It is pointless to ask this question because all responses to it shall be self-serving. A student will have a personal criteria to prove his preferred company is number one. These are the reasons why I choose to believe all the companies are number one until proven otherwise. What's in a number anyway? Does it increase the trust in the company? Nope.
