I am thinking of buying from them as they are the only U.K company I have found that appear safe. Has anyone had any experiences with them? Thanks, Tom

I believe standardessays.com is from Pakistan. I contacted them before I went to essaytailor.com web site (the owners of which defrauded me) and the guy who replied to may e-mail, his name was Olvais Khan.

How should we believe you? You are yourself from Ukraine where most of the fraudulent websites are running (see essay fraud).

Standard WriterI have personally used their services and they are pretty good. I'm really happy!

Whenever I sent them a query, I always got a reply from Customer Service and not from this name. Moreover, did Olvais Khan actually say that they are from Pakistan!? DON'T TELL ME!

Even if you got an email from this name, DOES IT PROVE THAT THEY ARE LOCATED OUTSIDE THE UK??

If they are scammers, would they EVER tell their customers their actual names and locations? COME ON! GIMME A BREAK!!

I dont think one should stop students from using genuine essay writing services simply because they themselves are working for fraudulent websites.

Tommy:

I'm saying this because I have used their services, rest is up to you!

Cheers and best of luck!

The senior members of this forum have been around long enough to recognize a shill from a mile away. You are not a customer. You are the owner or an associate of standardessays.com. Leave.

Even though I am from Ukraine, this doesn't mean that I am an owner of a paper mill. In fact not many people here know of such companies, cause as I've understood from this forum, they were created to defraud foreign customers. About Standardessays.com, there is nothing on the web site that mentions UK. The address is not on the web site either.

Samantha65 is indeed taking it too personal for someone who is not affiliated with standardessays.com . I hope Olvais Khan does not get executed because of me :)))

Well let me tell you about my HORRIBLE experience with StandardEssays.com...

I put in my order November 1, and gave them a due date of November 11. Well, I received my paper November 7 and I was very happy to receive it early.... Until I open it, and it has NOTHING to do with my writing prompt that I provided when I made my order. My paper was supposed to compare Aristotle and Cicero on their views of rhetoric, and my paper was about a BOOK review on 3 or 4 different books by some random authors I have never heard of before. Anyways, I contacted my writer and told him I was upset, and my paper was completely off topic. I told him to re-read my prompt! He reassured me he would have my paper revised in time and not to worry. Well, 3 days later (1 day before my due date of Nov 11), I receive the revised paper. This time, he added ONE MORE BOOK to the comparison!!! It still had nothing to do with the prompt I provided. There was one measly paragraph about Aristotle, and it didn't even have to do with rhetoric. Cicero's name was not even mentioned in the paper at all. So I wrote him back and told him he still did not do the paper correctly. I have yet to hear from him... so needless to say, my due date rolled around and I didn't even have a paper to turn in and I received a zero.

Throughout this process, I have used their so-called "24/7" live support link, and its weird that EVERY time I get connected and talk with somebody, his name is Steve. I have used the "live support" link on 5-6 occassions trying to figure out the status of my papers, and some how, I always end up talking to this Steve character. I will get in 3-4 sentences and he will write me back 3-4 sentences, but after that, he quits writing. I continually would type "hello?" or "are you there" but I would get no response.

BOTTOM LINE: I lost $80 and there is no phone number (which I know is my fault for not realizing that before I submitted my order). So much for the "100% satisfaction gaurantee or your money back" posted on their home page. I know I could attempt to talk to "Steve" again, but he would just end up ignoring me in our chat... so I won't waste my time. Very frustrating!!

i have to agree with KateH. I put my order May 10th, and i gave them my deadline for June 20th... they had plenty of time to complete my work... when i didn't receive my work on the day i tried to contact them, then i found out that the writer's taken to hospital the night before so he couldn't complete the work (so original).

i tried to use the 24/7 live support but with no luck i was getting no answer!!!!!
3 weeks later i received my work(2000 words short), but it wasn't up to my university standards so i couldn't use it..
now about refund i tried to negotiate a refund with the "administrator", but they tried to offer me, my next essay for free!!!!! so, i contacted 2CO and they refund my money..

DONT USE THEM!!!!!!!!!

Standard of English in the papers written by standardessays.com is far below standard.
I don't like them.

I agree with WB this time. The unidentified @Samantha65 protested too much. It appeared she took the comments posted as a personal affront. Telltale signs of the company owner posting rather than having the still do the job. Notice that when it started to get not in this thread, the person slithered into the night. Further evidence that the company was formally depended here by a single person, the owner.

When an academic writing company appears to be legitimate, that is when the potential clint should ask qquestions. This person did the right thing and eventually got useful responses in the thread. 2 do not use suggestions should be enough for anybody to decide not to hire the company. To this day the company still uses the same modus to trick students into hiring them. It is easy to verify the location of the company, use a reverse IP lookup or, where an address is provided, trace it via Google map. the geographical location of the provided address should make the decision to hire or not hire the company easier for anybody.
