I was VERY LUCK to get a refund from PayPal.

AcademizedLong story short: i needed someone who can read my final project for my dissertation, and nobody had time to help me..I search on the web and i found out this big scam.

200$ to read and do some correction to my work..5 days and finally they assigned me a ******* student of kenya to read my work ...are you kidding me ??

And i choose the option "i want uk writer"...then they disappeared, they didn't answer my questions, the online chat is a complete joke! i start a claim, and then the "Billing service" started to send me so many emails to cancel the claim, and they promised they give me a refund in 2 days, yada yada, yada...

DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE !!!!

academized.com IS A COMPLETE SCAM

They also have another site: essayroo.com which I think is related to them.

STAY AWAY IF YOU ARE SMART STUDENT.

Everything that I have heard about this company reeks of being paid blurbs. When a company comes so highly recommended by a review site, you can bet that the owner of the website paid a premium price for that glowing review. Do not be fooled. The more glowing the review, the more suspicious you should be of the services. This is one of the new companies that uses the "Meet Our Writers" profile to sell their services. I am not sure that I can trust the writer profiles considering the biggest red flag of them all right there on the front page of the site. The company offers unlimited FREE revisions. Uh-hoh! That can never be a good sign. The revision clause is actually the method by which one can judge the type of writers that the company hires for the work. Unlimited revisions signals 3rd rate writers who were hired just to fill the seats. It does not bode well for the quality of work. The reputable companies do not offer unlimited revisions because they are confident in the work of their writers. They know the writers will get it right the first time. This company sounds too good to be true. As we all know, if it sounds too good to be true, there is a marked certainty that the company is a scam.

Academized is a complete and total scam. The writing is done by non-English speaking writers whom are absolutely terrible. They will advertise that you can get a U.S. based writer but you won't. I never write reviews online, but I guess I've never been scammed before. If you got scammed by them as well, file a claim with your card company, they will file a claim with PayPal and you will have a fighting chance to get something back. There are good paper writing services out there. But Academized and its affiliates are not one of them. BEWARE!

As I was reading the landing page of academized, I thought I recognized the writing style of one of my friends in the business. A simple phone call to my friend confirmed my suspicion. This company pays other writers, from other writing companies, to make their website look good. Even the non-descript photo of the girl made me suspicious of the site the minute I saw it. The company tried to go for a generic feel in order to make the students forget that the text on the page reeks of ESL English. Something that I have come to understand happens because these companies insist on SEO optimization for their keywords. Hence the ESL development of the sentences in the copy. This is definitely a site that should be avoided, based on the content of the landing page alone. It sounds like it is trying too hard to convince the reader of its services and capabilities. There is no sense of confidence in the writing. Instead, I get the feel of a company being run out of either Easter Europe or Asia.

The reputable companies do not offer unlimited revisions because they are confident in the work of their writers.

This is not the main reason all reputable companies have boundaries around their policies on revisions. No matter how competent a writer is, a stubborn customer can always find ways of requesting changes after delivery. If submitted work adheres to all requirements stipulated at the time the order was being placed, then any requested revisions need to be paid for.

Agreed.

Unlimited revisions signals 3rd rate writers who were hired just to fill the seats.

I also disagree with this, mainly, because it implies that promises about "unlimited revisions" will be honored in the first place, which they won't, just as is the case with promises about "guaranteed refunds" if you're not satisfied with the work for "any reason." In my opinion, what these types of "guarantees" suggest is that the company is willing to make totally fraudulent promises just to get their hands on your money. They may or may not actually provide an essay, and if they do, it will almost certainly be written by someone unqualified in addition to, but not necessarily as a direct function of (also) being ESL, regardless of any tabs that allow you to "select" an American or British writer. Those tabs probably just add to the price without changing anything about who will write the project (assuming, in the first place, that it will actually be written, at all).

Legit companies (and writers) don't offer free revisions for "any reason" simply because that would be a ridiculous promise that would make doing business impossible if they actually honored it. As AW said, allowing "unlimited" revisions or (any) free revisions unless there's an objectively-valid justification for the revision would mean that customers could force writers to revise their projects for totally arbitrary reasons and after-the-fact editorial opinions and preferences never communicated as part of the original project specs. Legit providers always provide free revisions for outright mistakes and omissions, and they don't make promises that are ridiculous on their face. If it sounds too good to be true, that's almost always an indication that someone is lying to you to get your money.

Working with these guarantees is quite stressful as well from various viewpoints; I cannot fully comprehend why it would be alright for any writer to work in these types of platforms because of the lack of security. If you truly consider the field as a constant source of income, I have no idea why you would be alright with working with a company that does not guarantee long-term success. The desperation reeks.

I agree that reputable companies will not offer unlimited revisions. That is because the clients are required to submit all of the instructions, materials, and other related information prior to the order being assigned to a writer. If the student submits the correct and useful information, then there will not be any need to revise the paper after it is submitted. I also agree that a stubborn student will find a way to ask for a revision even if the paper is perfect. That is why the QAD of a writing company needs to be strict about the revision policies. One request is fine. Two requests and the QAD should be suspicious the student is reselling the paper on his own. Three requests, the company should charge for a rewrite. No paper should require 3 full revisions to the content. The student is running a scam of his own at that point.
