Anmol, on another thread you had asked me about thewritinghelp.com
I cannot find that thread now; so replying here.

Yes, good essays; no, they do not publish client papers; yes, a bit expensive; but others are not dirt cheap either; yes, they do delay a bit. If you are ordering please keep one or two days extra. This is their major drawback.

Shireen, I am glad for the feed back. I would like to know the good and bad points of the writers before I make my plans. Thank you.

thewritinghelp - Reviews - Is it good?

Wanting to know if anyone here has used or heard about : thewritinghelp.com, it is a trust-able site or just another scam.

A few minor errors on their home page, but nothing especially egregious. The fact that they offer online psychological counseling in addition to writing services is strange, to say the least, and gives me reason for some concern.

Also, their use of hotmail.co.uk accounts as their email contacts looks like an attempt to establish a UK identity--they already have a website being hosted, why not use email addresses attached to the site? There is also no address/company registration number, which is required of UK business.

None of this proves that the company is a scam, and I have no experience with them, so I can't say for sure. There's enough to make me wary, though.

I don't understand, are there any companies out there that are not scams?
Why can't you point someone in the right direction? I thought this forum is too help people not get scammed and point out the good guys.

The reason it's not allowed is because anyone an claim that their site is not a scam... even if it actually is. However, not everybody can simply call a site a scam without proof. This site was meant to point out the scams in the industry so that you could avoid them. Using the information you see here, you can try a little deductive reasoning to find the sites that are not scams.

ok from reading around on here for the last day and a half.
I think that ********* seems to be one that does not have the word scam attached to it or fraud. But i could be wrong, any input on this?

As much as many would like to help you, we are not allowed to make any recommendations. The reason is that most would recommend sites they work with or own.

The only input is: trust your own instincts.

As has been stated in many threads (though it can still be difficult to find), here is a short list of best practices when searching for a reputable website in this industry:

-Read the webcopy. If the English they show their customers before they even order isn't good, it's a bad sign.
-Call the customer service numbers Thick Eastern European accent? Bad sign.
-Look at the site's claims There are no industry organizations that give awards to essay writing companies. The idea is laughable. Claims to have set the "industry standard" are suspect, and claims to have won industry awards are outright lies--there are none to win. The guaranteeing of grades is also a cause for suspicion; these essays are supposed to be used as models and are not to be turned in for a grade, and no one but the grader can guarantee a grade, anyway. If a site promises a certain grade, it probably means they have no real refund policy, so they can tell you whatever they want to get your money.

None of these signs necessarily mean that a site is a scam, but they are all warning signs. Essentially, then, you want a site with clean webcopy in grammatically correct English with standard word usage, a number that connects to someone who speaks decent English (answering machines are not necessarily bad signs--companies that don't employ dozens of people just to answer phones have more to pay their writers), and that doesn't make outrageous and impossible claims about its services

thewritinghelp.com - legit or not?

I'd like to know everyone's input on this. I'm thinking about going with them and want to know if they are 100% legit. Has anyone purchased from them?

Domain name: thewritinghelp.com

Registrant:
IBRAHIM KALE ABAKAR
5, rue du Dr. Bousseau
Cholet, 49300 FRANCE

How in the hell did you even find this site? Unless you owned it you would have no reason to post this again. Did you do this so you will get 20 clicks on your site as opposed to the usual 3 clicks per week? Well at least they offer counseling services after you fail your class.

I have already posted a comment on this on another thread. Registrant is the seller of the website space. That is all.

If genuine negative comments are not there, perhaps such companies are trustworthy. It is always better to find out from various student groups.

The Muslim name seems to distress other writers here too.

A lot of Middle Eastern Christians are named Ibrahim (just the Arabic version of Abraham), as are members of the Egyptian Jewish community.

You, Dreamer, inserted religion into the discussion. No one mentioned anything about the registrant's religion, except you.

What I find `distressing' are your logic, your inability to research facts and your poor writing skills. Please do not tell me that you are a writer ...

Please get over your self. Your comment was ignorant and, therefore, rejected by the majority.

No. Never thought of his religion as it is irrelevant. I guess our world
views are very different. You prefer to categorise people and scream religious discrimination at every turn. If that makes you feel better, to each his own ...

Majority = you and wb

Any who bothered to respond, disagreed with your ill-informed statement. You are standing alone in this. How about your looking up "Registrant" before spouting your "facts."

I am a student and student adviser.

Hardly qualified as either. Anyway, did you not claim to have worked for Richardson as a writer?

did you not claim to have worked for Richardson as a writer?

Tried to do many things for a decent income. Never tried to be a rude scum, though.

Currently, I am doing three courses and working at two places.

Hardly qualified as either

What shall I do now? My world has crumbled down around me!!

Will give up the courses tomorrow...

The lady is getting all worked up. Come on, students, let us all place orders on the *********, that being the only legitimate essay company in the world.

That should be considered q glowing endorsement? That sounds more like "My dog can write your paper." There is nosubstance in this endorsement. Just an irrelevant comment that doesn't provide any useful information about the company. Honestly, these paid endorsers need to try harder.

The provided url comes back as an error with the domain name being unresolved. Since there was a time when the students were actually using the service, I can only assume that the company did one of 2 things:

- Close shop
- Change its domain name

The reason I am considering the latter reason is because there is a writing company online with a similar sounding URL. This company lists its internet presence as writing- help.com. Coincidental name similarity, or the same company under an easier to remember internet address? Since the OP and the declared year of establishment for the other company fall under the same year, maybe, just maybe, it is the same company?
