I think dissertationdom may be a fraud, please beware

You should provide more information. Link to the website and explanation of what happened so that when someone does a search of their website a link leading to this website is on top of the google search list.

What did they actually do to you? How did you get into their trap? I am sure you didn't do any research on this company and went straight up to place an order only to have been scammed.

Countless posts here suggest visitors to do some research beforehand but....

I have never actually written on any forums or anything before but I felt the need to write this today because dissertationdom made me miss my deadline AND refused to give me a full refund!

I asked them 2 weeks ago for help with my dissertation. The said it would take them 10 days to do so I thought, okay that will give me enough time (6days) to make corrections, adjustments etc. I did get my work after 10 days but it was NOTHING like what I had told them to do. It was all basically copied and pasted from 3 different papers and put into one.

I confronted them about it and they said I should ask for a "revision" request.
Long story short I had to do 3 revision requests that went on right till my deadline (today) and I got a **** dissertation 30 minutes after my deadline had passed.

After speaking to them online and being put on hold for 1 and a half hours I was told I would only get a 30% refund.
I don't actually care about the refund its just that now I'll have to ask for an extension and do the work myself, which will take up my valuable revision time and on top of that my marks might be capped if i don't come up with a proper excuse.

So what I'm trying to say is DO NOT USE DISSERTATIONDOM. THEY ARE SCAMMERS!!

I asked them for a dissertation on healthcare expenditure in South Africa, they said that they would do it and then nothing!!! NEVER USE THIS SCAM SITE!!

It never hurts to revive old threads. You never know who might have had similar experiences with the company and may want to add their own experience or information to the thread. It isn't always about talking to the OP. Sometimes, it is about calling attention to specific possible fraud companies and hoping that someone can add to the discussion for the benefit of the other students who may be looking for information about that company at the time.

The company could either be a fraud or simply meant for the use of Chinese students alone. The website is written in Chinese characters which tells me that their target audience is not the general studentry. While the non-Chinese speaking students may consider the company a fraud, the pure Chinese students may deem it otherwise. Just because we cannot understand the text of the site does not mean it is a fraud. It just means it does business with a specific audience. Nothing wrong about that. Let the Chinese students have their own exclusive academic writing circle. Who are we to say that they will not benefit from such exclusivity right?
