"free from scam" in any business (not only essay writing business) sounds like an oxymoron. Same like with an "ideal partner" ("ideal" until s/he starts cheating on you ;). But some companies may be less likely than others to "scam" you.

It's best to do your own research (by contacting the company and asking some questions; then assessing their response time and the quality of the reply, etc..).

Hello Major,

I am looking for a company to write one of my master papers. I have been very busy with other assignments. Could you please tell me which sites are good and genuine that help students. Thanks

Hello, I have used study-aids twice in the past year. I got the material within 24 hours and the material is top class.

Also the price is very competitive !!!

I advise that you try study-aids. There is also GraduateWriter if you need real quality.

You won't be disappointed !!!!

Studyaids, you're posing as a customer to promote your own site, which I believe is cause for banning.

A list that will help people not get scammed?

Would it be possible to formulate a list of writing companies that are registered in the UK or USA, et al?

It is clear that foreign companies put people in real danger of being scammed. Therefore, surely a list of the UK based companies would help eliminate this risk, whist also not advertising any company, which is against the rules of the forum?

Yes.

No.

And no.

Way to have the same idea that someone new has every week, though.

well if you do what i did then you should be safe, call them and speak to them. Ask for their UK registration number and ask them a few questions about the local area. Listen to how they sound too. They should sound native.

There is no sense to do this at all. As far as I know domain-name may be registered in any country you want.

Yeah, but US companies have to register with the Sec of State, and UK companies have to register with the Company House. Actual companies based in these countries have publicly accessible records and can be held accountable to the laws of those countries.

You really need to think before you type.

Exactly phee!!!

If this site wants people to stop getting scammed, then this is a workable solution. It appears to me that this forum is all mudslinging and no solutions.

This forum is clearly and explicitly about exposing scams, not about promoting or advertising decent companies. If you don't like it, go start your own forum.

Exposing scams, is excellent! But surely, assisting people in not getting scammed in the first-place would also be productive?

Prevention is better than cure?

Yes, it would be, if it could be done in a way that doesn't allow false promotion and thus lead to greater scamming. That's not what this site is here for, though.

Short answer, no. Only one of these sites is actually a UK registered company (the other four are lying about it), and that site is operated by a "legitimate" company that gets a lot of complaints on the forum for plagiarism, hiring foreign writers, etc.

i know someone

It's really nice of you to post someone else's contact info here. It really makes it seem like you're not just promoting yourself, even though you identify yourself as a writer.

Are the sites rated 2 generally trustworthy? I'm looking for a company to write for, and I really don't want to get caught up in a scam.

2>1 so generally they are likely to be trustworthy.

Write TrustA "site free from scam" ? Hmmm...

I am not sure it will be easy to spot one with all of the scam companies and writers floating about.

You won't really know whether or not an academic outsourcing company, or a writer is on the level or not until you have tried to use the service.

If you have a successful transaction, then you found a legitimate company / writer. If all hell breaks lose, then you ended up being scammed. You will have to do your homework though and investigate the companies you are considering for the work you need to have done.

A Google search for the company url usually turns up some interesting leads and ratings which can help you decide about the legitimacy of a company.

As for the writer, you need to contact him directly, speak to the writer personally (whenever possible) so that you can ask the right questions and decide if the accent you are hearing is legitimately American / UK / or Australian. Then you can decide whether or not to use the services of that person. Ask for a referral from a friend who has already successfully used a service instead.

Normally, these referrals are qualified and results in contacting a good company and writer in the end.

Unless one has successfully dealt with a research site over several orders or academic semesters, it is difficult for a student to say that the research site is not a scam. Trust is actually something that a company and its writers have to earn over time. It is not something that a client should freely give the first time the student does business with the site. It is something that is cultivated using able writers, met deadlines, and high quality academic writing. Something that can only be proven to not be a scam through the length of the working relationship of a student with the company and its writer. This is not something that one can simply "spot", it is based on the working experience that has left the client highly satisfied and confident enough to refer the same site to other students who need academic writing help. That is the evidence that the "trust" factor has been built strongly between the involved parties when it comes to delivering on the student requirements for his written work.

The phrase "scam" should only be used to denote a deliberate intention to take money from clients and provide either nothing in return or to provide an unusable project that the company knows will be unusable to the client. Providing off-topic barely-English gibberish and/or heavily plagiarized work on a regular basis would be types of scams in this business. But outright scams are hardly the only risk to clients. All you have to do is look through some old threads started by students complaining about getting a horrible essay from a different writer at the same company whose other writer previously provided good work. In many cases, your outcome depends on the luck of which writer takes your order off the public company assignment board. I wouldn't call that a scam, but it will be a big disappointment when someone finds out the hard way how much worse some writers are than others, even at the same company.

Scam companies abound on the web. For all intents and purposes, a student should consider every company and every writer a scam or scammer until the satisfactory completion of the first two orders. @Smiley73 was right to tie in the completion of the transaction with the scam free experience. It encompasses all of the requirements of a non-scam site. A proper discussion with the Client Care staff, a proper ordering and payment system, a clear TOS, a qualified writer assigned to the order, and the grade achievement of the student, based on the writer's work, all work together to create what the student will understand to be a scam free experience. If a student has a problem with any of the procedures along the way, the student will not look for another word to describe the experience other than "I was scammed!!!"
