Please can somebody let me know if universityessays is a scam site!!!! I was reffered by Hala from theessayist and she said they were the best in the business. The reason Hala reffered me is because she could not do a particular piece of work fo rme. But i ordered my esssay from Universityessays and now its late. It 2 hours past midnight deadline, ive asked if i can see my work and they refuse, saying im unable to see it before it goes through check control.

Im so worried ie made the biggest mistake of my life! Please can someone telll me if they have a bad reputation?

ukessays is the biggest scam
the have charged me alot of money, took 3 weeks to deliver the work after they promised me 10 days for delivery, assured me that the researcher was qualified and know what they were doing.

turned out the work they provided was all done wrong, and didnt meet the requirements either.
and when i asked for amendments within the 7 days period they said the researcher has gone AOWL.
so they wasted my time and money

I have a very bad experience with ukesseys.co.uk - I have provided them with the guide to all 3 papers I have paid them to do however the guideline wasn't follow which lead to failure of my work.

All 3 come back as ""not meet the criteria"" and the respond which I get from the customer service representative was " you have to be patient mate"

I will be contacting a paypal for the refund of my money and will write as many reviews as possible on all forums so no one else will get scammed by them

it is kind of surprising to see UKessays trying to mend their reputation in here. How come 4writers.net do not do the same?

I am in the middle of something very dodgy with UKessays.com. I paid £438 for a 2250 word essay. It's an awful lot of money for me. The essay did not meet the detailed description I gave. The customer service I received from the company since I sent in amendments to the essay has been well below average. Stories are changing all of the time. At first I was told that the researcher was amending the essay to my request. When I followed this up with a phone call the next day, I was told that the researcher had rejected the amendment. Nobody thought to tell me about this. If I didn't call to check how things were coming along I would be sitting here thinking everything was going to work out.

I was told on at least 3 occasions that a researcher had 24hours to respond to any amendment requests, but tonight when I called the company, I was told that it is 48hours and it always has been. I was completely shocked by this response. I now believe that they are very shady operators and the likely of me getting my essay is very slim. I have sent an email to the manager with my concerns and waiting on a response.

These two statements are completely contradictory. If a business were operating in any other industry, it would be expected that its quality would remain consistent and as advertised. The fact that you got a good writer doesn't mean the company isn't a scam, it just means they managed to hire one good writer. Speaking from experience, that writer probably won't stick around too long at a scam company.

If anyone is still considering using this company after reading this thread then you must be completely out of your mind.

I bought two essays from them costing £650. They were to a "guaranteed" 2.1 standard yet when I received my marks they were both awarded a shockingly poor 52%.

Yes, indeed. However, you must note that a good company does not say it out that it guarantees certain grades. It's because grading is a very subjective matter. Even the assessment matrices are subjective despite being well-defined. The research on assessment has only recently begun to realize this gray area.

Now, if a company does guarantee certain grades, it cannot be trusted.

However, for an experienced/good writer, it is possible to foresee a likely grade for a paper against the assessment matrix/rubric, but still no crystal-clear guarantees can be given.
