You know, on a personal note, I don't actually aspire to work in law - that's why I left Freeths. I've considered starting a law firm as a venture in the past, but I don't find it really inspiring so it's certainly not a short term goal. My interest is business, marketing, PR .. I have my practising certificate and I deal with some legal issues but it's not my full time job so.. I'm not sure if you're trying to insult me, rile me or what .. but it's really not going to work. I couldn't really care less if you believe I'm barely qualified, have only 1 GCSE or skipped school entirely - it makes no difference at all to me. I'm just here to help customers. But, you know, I know this is what you do to relax so .. if it does make you feel better, carry on - honestly, I don't mind! :-)

I don't care about your career goals or WHAT you aspire to be. I do however care when you tell BLATANT lies to people, PRETEND to be something you are NOT and BLATANTLY promote a site that ENCOURAGES cheating, HAS little respect for the UK education system, BELITTLES the law school rules by encouraging STUDENTS to get their BVC work and LPC work done for them as well as LYING on various sites around the web about your FICTITIONAL LPC pass (which I note that you have NOW stopped claiming to have passed). Your arrogance at assuming that everyone here would buy the rubbish you spout is unbelievable.

You have the integrity of a pharisee. you ought to apply to become a government 'spin doctor' with the fabrications that spill from your mouth

Now now, exwriter .. you were almost unfriendly then :)

oh how the truth does hurt hey Jennifer?

STOP spinning your lies, STOP promoting your conning site on here. Go find an advertising forum and promote to your hearts content. I will continue to expose your lies and deceit until you stop spouting such garbage on sites like this.

If your site was so fantastic there would be NO complaints on sites like this.

Oh and by the way I had a lovely email from ILEX today saying

Thank you for raising your concerns about the integrity of one of our members this has been passed to our professional standards body who will investigate your allegation and will report back to you with our findings in due course.
JenniferAA
Nov 20, 2008 | #49
EW, I'm not really concerned about your email. Do you honestly think I wouldn't speak to ILEX before I went to work for any company?

But I'll be around a little while longer - hope this isn't too disappointing :-)

If your site was so fantastic there would be NO complaints on sites like this

As your friend WB acknowledges in another post, even the most legitimate of companies gets the occasional complaint :)

EW, I'm not really concerned about your email. Do you honestly think I wouldn't speak to ILEX before I went to work for any company?

Its not the company that you work for that concerns them its your ethical behaviour of encouraging cheating.

From the tone of the rest of the email they sent to me they did not seem to be aware of your activities which would seem to suggest that you have either not told them or have been economic with the truth.

I look forward to future correspondence with them as well as further dialogue with the law society and the bar council. Maybe you won't be around as long as you anticipate!!

Nov 20, 2008 | #51
Who knows. Maybe I'll be hung, drawn and quartered for it. I certainly wouldn't lose my job here, that's for sure - as I've explained in another post, it's not what I do and it's not what I aspire to do either.

I've never encouraged anyone to cheat, that's for sure.

(Which for the record means our friendly little chats are likely to continue for quite a lot longer ... sorry!)

I've never encouraged anyone to cheat, that's for sure.

The company you promote ENCORAGES cheating BY allowing students to buy custom written essays knowing FULL well that many submit these as their own work

The company also BLATANTLY encourages BVC students to get opinions written - A breach of the professional ethics for barristers- which I have provided proof of before. How can you possibly claim not to encourage cheating when you promote such sites? You are a liar and a fraud and let's hope they decided to make an example of you and remove your right to declare that you are a FILEX member. Won't look quite so impressive when your spouting your abilities.

I am sure Barclay will retain your services unless the reputation of his company is threatened through adverse publicity if ILEX opt to make your removal public.

Just because we both see you for what you REALLY are does not make us "friends." Your reputation simply precedes you. To my recollection, I have not initiated a single communication with exwriter.

The only communication I have had with you outside of the forum was the email I sent you showing you the exorbitant fine which Jennifer claimed to be untrue.

For the record Jennifer, you state that such fines are rare, how many times have such ifnes been imposed and how many writers have had 300% fines whikst you have been employed by them?

Lots of services and products can be misused - there is a right and a wrong way to use our work.

I'll try and find this information out for you - not many I think.

But you admit to knowing that the work is used in this way and yet do nothing to stop this.

IF a student states that the essay they received from you and that they submitted to the university did not get the grade expected do you contact their univeristy and inform them that the work submitted was not their own? No of course you don't! Why? Because you already suspected they were going to do this anyway.

Why do you still promote sites offering to do LPC and BVC work KNOWING that this is a breach of the ethics code?

Jennifer

I am still waiting for your facts and figures on how many writers have had a 300% fine levied against them plus your response to Vika in another thread where he exposed the fact that YOUR company employs ESL writers tut tut!!

I guess Jennifer just couldn't take the heat. Her own self importance was her downfall. Just look how much damage she has done to the companies reputation just by trying to promote their rip off service.

We now have ESL writers declaring they work for AK despite the promises on their site that they do not employ ESL writers. Wonder if ILEX, the Law Society and the Bar council have been applying the heat on our Jenny. Had an email from ILEX yesterday thanking me for alerting them to Jenny's activities. They promised to be in touch once they have investigated my claims and have made a determination on how to deal with this matter.

I guess she might have bit off more than she bargained for on this occasion!!

BLATANTLY promote a site that ENCOURAGES cheating, HAS little respect for the UK education system

Please indulge me a few moments to explain fully the raison d'etre of TORG. The Oxbridge Research Group (TORG) is the UK's leading academic research company. Through a freelance and in-house network of academics and professionals from Oxford and Cambridge University, we provide a range of academic, commercial, and career services for international and UK students, institutions and businesses. Our services exist to provide elite level tuition and academic/professional guidance to those students who, feeling let down by their universities, seek support from leading academics who care about the quality of their teaching and research.

No work we produce can ever be submitted by a student to their own institution, and we vehemently condone plagiarism and punish it strictly. Moreover, our clients know that all work contracted is intended to be used as a model and guide, illustrating how academic pieces should be structured and written (i.e. tone, style ). Unlike those of us who were fortunate enough to attend Oxford or Cambridge and receive individual supervision on how to write academically, many UK institutions provide neither guidance on how to do this, nor feedback on efforts submitted. Indeed, by far the greatest number of students who turn to TORG for help are those who feel severely let down by their university faculty and tutors. We strive to offer all that universities fail to, ensuring that talented students, who might otherwise fail to do justice to their potential, are given the opportunity to maximise their abilities.

You have to state that you were buying this essay from them. Please be careful. It should not spoil your student status.

I told them that I will take them to court and all newspapers will know about what they are doing

As stated above, no work produced by TORG can be submitted by a client to their own institution. On the contrary, it is to be used to inspire students to emulate similar academic levels, and improve their own intellectual standards. Such a service is thus wholly legal, and threats suggesting otherwise are not valid. Indeed, I would draw all current and prospective clients' attention to the relevant terms and conditions, agreed by all prior to placing an order, found below:

- The client understands and agrees that any written materials sold to them by The Oxbridge Research Group Ltd. is sold and intended solely for the purpose of inspiring that client's own work through giving an example of model research, writing, expression and structuring of ideas. The client must never submit as if their own work, either in part or total, to their university, school or any other institute of education written materials sold to them by The Oxbridge Research Group Ltd.

- The client agrees never to violate the copyright of any written material sold to them by The Oxbridge Research Group Ltd.

- The client understands and agrees to The Oxbridge Research Group Ltd.'s right to refuse to continue the preparation or sale of any written material, either in part or in full, which the company suspects of being used in violation of any of the terms and conditions stated in this document. Further, The Oxbridge Research Group Ltd. accepts absolutely no responsibility or liability for any undetected and / or unauthorised violations of the terms stated in this document.

- The client agrees to thoroughly examine, before ordering any service from The Oxbridge Research Group Ltd., the particular rules, regulations and provisions of their university or school governing the preparation and submission of academic work, and to check whether these provisions permit the employment of services such as those offered by The Oxbridge Research Group Ltd.

- The client acknowledges that any use by him or her of the products or services provided by The Oxbridge Research Group Ltd. is made wholly on the client's own initiative and free decision. Further, the client agrees that The Oxbridge Research Group Ltd. will have no responsibility or liability whatsoever for any decision to use our products or services which violates that client's school, university or other educational institutions regulations or provisions governing academic work.

The paper was 35% plagiarised

The issue of plagiarism is one we take very seriously, and just as our clients know they may not submit our work to their institutions as if it is their own, so our writers know that all work produced for Oxbridge Essays must be original. Indeed, our Quality Control team, made up of Oxbridge scholars, review every submission, and if any plagiarism is found, we deal with this very seriously. Any writer found to have committed plagiarism will not only be removed from our books, but will also be heavily penalised. Thus, it is a very rare occurrence that any client will receive a plagiarised piece and, if this ever is the case, we will rectify this for you free of charge.

Hi again Yvonne,

Just to clarify - our reviews are all genuine and in fact they're often sent in to us unsolicited from customers who are so grateful they want to 'give something back' to the company. Many websites use stock photos and a few of ours are, but the main photo on the homepage of the woman wearing a mortar board is actually a friend of the director's who was in his Oxford graduating class and agreed to be the 'face of Oxbridge Notes' for us some years ago.

I've responded to your other post as well in order that hopefully we can look into what happened with your order, but your experience is very unusual and does not reflect Oxbridge Notes in general.

Kind regards,
Joseph
