Average price per page and deadline: US / UK services vs ESL (non-English) services

So I took 8 popular academic research services and divided them between:

- LEGITIMATE / ENGLISH (4 from US, 4 from UK) and
- ESL / NON-ENGLISH (8 from random non-English speaking countries like Pakistan, Ukraine, Kenya, India, Russia).

I wanted to compare differences in prices, but not only their country's location point of view, but also in relation to how far the project deadline is. Before this test, I concluded that most ESL services, for some reason, offer much better 'deals' when deadline is very distant. I've always been wondering why / how it's possible that the same writer (employee) would work for much less ONLY BECAUSE the deadline was distant. It has never made much sense to me, considering the fact that even such badly-reviewed services like Fiverr don't offer much discount if the deadline is far in the future. It DOES make sense that services / freelance writers may charge substantially more for rush orders, but if a research project can be comfortably done within, let's say, a week, the price cannot be considerably lower only if it is scheduled to be completed within two weeks.

The results of my findings are presented below. In summary:

- ESL writing services charge, on average, 21.65% less when deadline is far in the future vs. regular deadline. On the other hand, established US / UK services charge only 6.37% less in that case. Charging a few percent less makes sense, but over 20% seems to suggest that a service is not only ESL, but also suspicious.

- The average combined price per page (completed within a default deadline) of a foreign / ESL research service is: 20.50 USD. The average combined price per page of a legitimate US / UK service is: 57.50 USD PER PAGE; wow - that was a little unexpected as it seems a lot, but we know UK-based services [over]charge (?) a lot. If we only take an average price of US-based services, the average cost is closer to $34 per page.

- Services that charge less than $20 per page are obvious offshore scams.

Obviously, this 'research' is not very accurate, but it may serve as a good starting point, especially to students who have no idea about the 'example research and writing market.' I tried to be objective (adjusted the price depending on how many words one page a given service offered; averaged a default date vs. distant date if they were unreasonably different from the rest, etc.).

Average price per page and deadline of US UK writing services vs. foreign non-English .

While I understand the idea of giving discounts for longer deadlines, from my own perspective it makes very little sense, as the quality of the final product will be the same, regardless of the date. I only recognize, and use, price hikes for rushed jobs, but then again, so does everybody else probably. Also, I don't like that you try to imply that the only "legitimate" services are those from the UK/US. There are perfectly legit ESL services out there, which don't shy away from the fact they are, in fact, ESL.

For most service providers, it's obviously an issue of flexibility. A paper whose deadline is 2 weeks away leaves room for the selected writer to take in other more pressing orders in between and get back to it whenever he has free time.

For many ESL companies, there's a huge disparity between how a 2-week deadline paper is discounted and how cheaply the writer who'll complete it is compensated. They employ incompetents who'll work for $2/pg. So, no matter how low the price charged to the client (as a gimmick to lure more clients), the writer will receive relatively way less, leaving the company with close to the same margins as for urgent orders. It's a game of numbers for them.

Remember these are companies run by people who aren't writers and barely speak English. Their rationale for pricing differs from that of someone who actually understands that it takes the same effort to complete a 10pg paper due in 2 days as it does one whose deadline is a week away

I only meant ESL services that lie about their location; there are a few legitimate services that don't (and their prices are, rightfully, on the higher level).

The implication, as per my understanding, based on my dealings with various types of writing companies, is that when the deadline is distant, the writer has more time to complete the paper in a relaxed and perfected manner. Hence the lower cost per page. The costing also implies that the student is looking for savings per page by placing the order early. In my opinion, the variation in rates should depend mostly on the ranking of the writer at the company and not the deadline. The most senior writers should get the highest CPP as they are the seasoned and reliable writers whose skills the students can rely on to get them through those distant or deadliest deadline times. The ESL companies should be charging less since there is a higher possibility that the client will be coming back with revision instructions. I am not saying all ESL companies that hire ESL writers are like this. I am just referring to the information that these companies tend to make the "unlimited revision" promises to the clients.

I agree that the writers should be based on 2 criteria: (1) The seniority of the writer at the company and (2) the number of repeat clients that the writer has brought in . The value of the writer can be seen in the way that the company pays him fairly, based upon his skills and client base. It is important to slowly double the rate of the writer over time, based upon the client reviews and QAD observations. A writer who gets a better CPP over time will tend to be loyal to the company and produce better work for his regular and new clients.

I have heard that clients these days find a cost per page of $20 too expensive. They may the inquiries then ghost the writers after they learn that they cannot get the paper for a pittance. Guys, you have to remember, you get what you pay for. A company that will charge you $2 per page or less is definitely going to be a scam. Either the company will do a bait and switch or, the company will use an in-house AI generator to produce a useless paper for you. Human written essays, properly written essay, will cost upwards of $20 per page. You pay for the quality of the work instead of the speed by which if can be delivered when you hire a human writer.

You pay for the quality of the work ... when you hire a human writer.

Exactly.
