Hi, I have a very long question that I need help with as I am freaking out.
I reached out to this website to get my assignments written as my son was unwell. Initially they did a good job, a few delays. I paid for a distinction but only passed which is fine - I didn't say anything.

There were a few delays here and there but all good so I hired them for two more. By that time I received a grade for the previous one and I Failed one in the end which I complained about. They had stated it's a money back guarantee.

Anyway, the other two were paid for and promised that they'd be given back on time.
Now I have not used the new ones as I was provided with one which was terrible and the other one was just not given to me. However I have used their previous ones.

I asked for the refund. They provided another number, I messaged on it and was told to give my bank details for the refund. Later during the day I messaged them and asked them to let me know when the refund was made and I got a reply saying they had put it through and this was the exact message

I have uploaded all the information on Global database. Compliance team will be get in touch with the University for further verification. it will take 4 to 5 business.

I asked them why they needed to contact the uni and all.. so they're saying that to remove my name from the global database I need to pay 400£ more.

Secondly, they would contact my university.
I'm not worried about the new assignments as I have done them myself and not used theirs so they can't hold me accountable..

however I have used the previous ones.

What should be the next step?
I begged them not to contact the uni and not put me on the database.. I know I was stupid but I have never gotten it written before and this was my first time.

What should the next step be? Do I just stay quiet and stop contacting them? Do they actually contact the university?

I will give you a 100% guarantee that they will never issue any refund, regardless of what their "guarantee" says. Everything they tell you about contacting your school is a threat intended to intimidate you so that you don't pursue a refund. If you never disclosed your school, just contact your credit card company and send them a link to their guarantee along with their emails in response to your refund request. Also, post the name of the company right here to help out future potential victims.

If you did actually disclose your school (and/or if it's easily searchable by your name and payment info), just chalk it up to a lesson learned and don't antagonize them into actually sending your previous projects to someone at your school for spiteful revenge. Either way, you should just ignore their emails and use this forum to identify a qualified writer for the next time you need work. Use the search function here to search all of the existing information on this far-from-unique dilemma; search for "blackmail" and "refund" and "guarantee." (Always change the default "Titles" to "Messages" so that your search results aren't limited to threads with your search term in the thread title.)

Thank you for getting back to me. I don't know how they figured out the uni, maybe one of the documents I had sent them had the uni name on it.

I have told them I don't want the refund but they're sayi by your name is already on the global database and the university has already been contacted to verify. I don't know how much of it is true so I just told them that if they had any humanity left in them, they'd let ir go because I let the refund go as well.

Obviously need to be careful next time.

Then just ignore and delete their future emails. Don't respond any further or continue letting them think they have any leverage over you. It's a very common blackmail scam; but they're not actually going to do anything unless you really antagonize them. Just ghost them; ideally, put a block on their emails so that you don't even see them. If you can, set up an auto-response that lets them know you're not even seeing their emails. After that, forget about them except in so far as having learned a lesson about using those kinds of companies. Use this forum to find a trustworthy provider next time.

Fyi, there is no global database for academic papers. That's just part of the scam they are trying to run. They use that phantom database all the time. When asked what database that is, they mention some made up names for the database. Pressed further, they claim it is their company plagiarism database. What a laugh! They do not even know what a global database is and how it works. Do not fall for their threats. Ignore them long enough and they will move on to the next prey.

Here is another tip, if you choose to hire a company writer, which I do not suggest, then never use the same company more than twice. That is the number of maximum times you will get a good paper out of them.

Stop spamming the threads with the same message. That is grounds for suspension at this forum. You cannot receive help from us if your account is suspended. Those who can help you will be coming back from their vacations shortly. Sit tight and keep ignoring their emails till then. Do not answer their phone calls from unknown numbers either. It might be them. That will increase their bullying power over you.
