To anyone who has bought papers in the past

Hello,
I am a journalist writing a story on the industry of essay mills and their clients. If any of you have bought essays in the past and would be willing to answer a few of my questions (to be an confidential source!) or if you know of any one would be interested, please comment!

Last year I bought marijuana for the first time in my life. The smoke made me very sick, it almost killed me. But nobody wants to write about that.

Writing SaleSounds to me like you are trying to gain unlawful access to personal information from the students.

What have you got in mind?

One thought that comes to mind is that you are trying to build your client base by using direct access information.

The other thought, is that you are trying to build up a list of students whom you hope to blackmail in the future. In which case, this is a pretty stupid way of getting that information.

The mere fact that you want the student to give an affidavit like admission along with pertinent information related to his academic life tells me that you are up to no good here. I hope that nobody made the mistake of submitting any information or cooperating with you in relation to this scam you are trying to run. I noticed you never disclosed why you need this information.

Non-disclosure makes your actions even more suspect. I hope no student fell for your scheme.

Legitimate journalists would be able to access sources and informants without coming here to blatantly ask students to sign their university expulsion warrant.

I have to agree with Smiley on this one. It has all the elements of a scam written on it. The first thought that came to my mind was that this person is probably trying to implement some sort of identity theft. Since the Kenyans have been quite active in promoting their fake TOEFL, IELTS, GRE, etc. fake certification services, I believe that this type of information can come in handy for those fakers. Lately, they have also been advertising "authentic US / UK college certifications" which could also be one of the reasons this person was asking for these information.

Reading the comments though, it appears that he was not successful in implementing his plan. Like Smiley said, this was a pretty stupid way of doing it. Then again, not all scam artists of this kind have the brains to do it properly. This person is proof of that idiocy.

The OP and the "journalist" that posted after him probably thought the students who come to this forum were born stupid. Nobody in his right mind would cooperate with anybody asking them to turn over the gun and bullets that they can be killed with. Both posters had the same intention, student blackmail. Nothing more, nothing less. Luckily, they were unsuccessful in their attempt to gain the information they were after. I would have to say that these 2 potential blackmailers are perhaps 2 of the dumbest criminals in the academic writing field. They would not know how to pull a con or run a scam if their lives depended on it.

I don't even think the OP was really interested in the info. It was probably just a new trolling ID of someone already on the forum who posted that to make a rhetorical point. If you look at some posts from around that time, it shouldn't be too difficult to figure out who it's likely to have been.
