I just purchase essay through writemypapers.org . My professor is using turnitin for plagiarism Before I submit on turnitin, I want to check my paper for plagiarism. What software should I use?

As far as I am concerned, I usually use Plagscan. 400 credits cost: US $ 6.25 while 1000 credits cost: US $13. Their system deducts one credit for every 100 words submitted to it.

You can use the student version of turnitin for a lot cheaper and without the worry that your paper is going to be sold to someone else after having it scanned.

But I already register with turnitin for my class. If I submit paper on turnitin , the second time will show for plagiarism. Am I correct?

He asked what service to use. You said, "I sue this one." That's implicitly answering his question and recommending the use of that particular service. If that's not what you intended, why did you choose this particular place and time to tell everyone what plagiarism scanner you use?

turnitin has a student version that is cheaper, more effective, and more reputable than the one Twig suggested. That was my entire point. Chill out.


What was the correct interpretation, then? You randomly decided to tell everyone about the plagiarism scanner you use--for the papers you writer for your customers, for which there shouldn't be a question of plagiarism--on a thread where someone asked for recommendations? Either you're a liar or a moron.

How do you register for the student account on turnitin and wont it affect the student if you submit the essay later?

I use google. Its free and can be just as effective as turnitin but it wont keep your paper

I have been using the titles of the essays to check for plagiarism lately. If the essay has previously been published or, was based on an already existing paper, it is bound to show up through a title check. The other method I use is the random cut and paste of sentences in the essay. I use a sentence from each paragraph to search individually for cut and paste jobs or plagiarism. It is the cheapest way to check for plagiarism as far as I am concerned. The problem I have with software is that it returns to many false positives due to the way the program is set up and the database that it checks. If a cited source was taken from a report published in several online or print materials, that usually triggers a plagiarism warning, when the information is properly referenced in the paper anyway. It is the multiple source reference that proves to be the main problem with that type of plagiarism checking.

The student should have received a plagiarism report from the writing company upon his request. It is standard practice for the companies to submit such a report for the student's reference prior to submitting the essay for a grade. It is not advisable for him to try and run a free software plagiarism checker as that could open up a host of problems for him once the paper is submitted to turnitin. Rather, he should simply trust the system and believe that the paper is all original. Any type of plagiarism checking on his own could result in a red flag once the professor checks it using his own system. In any case, students who want to check for plagiarism these days will do well to go to the writing center of their university and ask for their assistance in using a university approved plagiarism checker. Some universities have their own systems in place these days that the students can use for free, for their peace of mind. Never having to admit that they paid someone to write the paper for them.
