Hi pheelyks,

I have just joined the forum and saw a recent message wherein you claim to be earning 10x as much as the regular compensation structure on AsiaWriters.

Could you kindly let me know what service you use for freelance writing as I would most definitely wish to avail any opportunity for increased earnings.

I would appreciate any additional sources of legitimate work, as you strike me as a person with useful information on the topic.

Awaiting your prompt response,

Thanks and regards.

I'm an ESL student and here is my example essay. I hope it's good enough to show that ESL students can be good writers too :)

ESL Student ProfileWrite a two or three paragraph rhetorical analysis in which you analyze your profile from a rhetorical perspective. What is the communication context surrounding your profile? What rationales do you have behind your content, organization, style and design decisions? What aspects of the writing process went well? Not so well? What did you find challenging about writing your profile and why?

Rhetorical Analysis of Professional Profile

In the beginning, it is a good idea to write about previous work experience to show exactly which direction my career had taken. Vocational school was worth mentioning because it does not appear to be a typical course of action for the average American student. The average American student is encouraged to go to college after high school. China's vocational schools usually train a worker for a particular job. In this case, it was working in the hospitality industry. Mentioning interpersonal skills, collaboration, and liaison skills development is necessary because they are very important to most employers today. In doing research for different jobs, I have found that all of them require good people skills and a strong ability to "work with the team." It is even true for jobs that do not require strong interpersonal skills such as a computer programmer.

Writing the profile has been simple. In looking at past performance and what was learned on those jobs, it helped put together a more complete picture of who I am, what I have accomplished, and what I have to offer. I am good with people and have an international perspective that would help me in any government job I apply for. I have had a few major challenges in writing this piece.

First, as English is my second language, I often struggle in using exact grammar and syntax. It helps to write down all of my ideas and then carefully edit them.

Second, in translating my thoughts from Chinese to English there are ideas that are lost in translation so it becomes very difficult to explain why I had written the things I did.

Nope. The essay you provided only proves what the others here have been saying about ESL students, they cannot transition into effective academic writers because their writing skills are wanting on several levels. The best you can do is write for another ESL student, who cannot tell the difference. An ENL client will definitely know and demand a refund for any plagiarized work that you turn in to them.

Linda obviously speaks English quite well; but her writing would only be appropriate for an ESL student, and not one hoping for a high grade on that assignment. Apart from the obvious signs of ESL writing, it is also substantively inadequate and suffers from typical amateurish writing issues that really have nothing to do with the distinction between ESL and ENL writing.

These days, Linda could easily come across as an ENL writer with the use of AI. That is how some of the 3rd world writers are getting by these days, much to the dismay of the students who eventually learn that they were duped into paying someone to simply use AI to write the essay. Something they could have done themselves, for free.

It is important to note that ESL writers do have their uses, when servicing ESL students in need of an essay. An AI can also sound like an ESL student if asked to write in that manner. However, it is still best to have a human being write an essay for you since an AI cannot equal the writing skills of a real person.
The opinions are that of the author's alone based on an individual capacity. Opinions are provided "as is" and are not error-free.

The best that AI can do right now is make an ESL writer sound more like a very bad NES writer.
