Let's assume I take classess online. How do the teacher know it is me who does the homework and stuff? I don't want to cheat but I was wondering if they have any tools to determine who is posing messages, who really does tests online etc.?

I suspect they have the tools to do it. Your ISP's IP for example. Besides, it wouldn't take much sense to pay for classes and have someone else do them, would it? It's not like getting help with writing one or two essays; online classes usually take a few weeks to complete so if you miss it, you'll most likely have no knowledge about the subject. Finally, I think online classes are great for those who really need them (working students for example) so even talking about the idea that someone else could do your online coursework is not very smart. It's just my opinion.

Yeah, I guess you're right. I just wanted to make sure my online friends know it too ;-).

I know many students who take online classes. I don't think any of them is cheating. As noted by beatrice, it wouldn't make sense at all.

taking exams for someone else

Online Teaching ClassDuring my time as a writer at various writing companies, it was not uncommon for a student to approach me and ask him to take his test for him online.

The financial offer was always highly lucrative and I was more than once tempted to help the student out. I found that I always declined work orders like those because of my academic principles and guidelines. I always told the company, I draw the line somewhere when it comes to helping the students.

I will help them with their research, I will help them with their homework, I will help them with their exercises, I will NEVER help them cheat in their exams.

The exams were to be taken online so technically, I really could have pulled it off for them, but my sense of what is right always won over my desire to earn an income.

Yes, contrary to what other students might believe, academic writers have morals. We freelance with a purpose but we have some hard lines that a student must never try to cross. Not taking an exam for them is for their own good, whether they know it or not, admit it or not.

It's not only about morality though; today's technology can detect and record your device and the IP addresses associated with your location. If you allow someone from another country or even continent to log into your student account, the system will be alerted and your professor or advisor may be able to be notified of that.

What's the moral difference, in your mind, between writing essays that you know will almost certainly be turned in unchanged for academic credit and writing out answers to questions that you know will be submitted as written test answers? (Assume for this question that you're not actually accessing a college system directly by using the student's credentials, but simply agreeing on a specific date and time to write out the answers that the student copies and pastes into an email for you during a timed test.) Likewise, what's the moral difference between taking an actual exam in real time and writing an essay titled "Final Exam Question" that a client orders?

Well, nobody said you can't hire someone to do the work for you. However, the writer help will only go so far as completing the homework for you. With the dawn of video conference classes, teachers can now use technology to make sure that the student is attending classes and completing tests themselves. It is only in the homework and research part that the teacher cannot see if the student is doing the actual work. Nothing that an oral verification can't fix. That, is why I tell my students to Crack open the books and read other materials in relation to the essay or research job they give me. I can only help them so much. They, still have to attend the class and remove any possible doubts from the teacher's mind should the need to do so arise.

These days schools require 2 factor authentication from the students already when taking online classes. They also require that the cameras be on at all times. The systems have already been designed to track the IP address of the person logging in. If you are not in the location of the student, then you won't have any success logging in. You will either get a warning about your location or, the system will keep on saying your password is incorrect.

The only way to get around those modern systems is for students to coordinate with writers to schedule a live test at a specific date and time. Then, the student has to log in to the system, copy/paste the questions to the writer, and the writer has to copy/paste the answers back. Usually, remote live exams allow much more time than necessary for a good student or a very experienced writer to send back the answers with enough time left to upload them with time to spare.
