My paper deadline is next week - can writers see and take my order?

Hello Everyone,

I am aware that this is not a support forum for a Writing Service I'm also aware that certain members here are very knowledgeable about how the system on writing service work so I'm going to ask my question also ( I did message customer support on essay writer, and waiting for answer). First off, I have used Writing Service once before, I received a favorable score for my paper so I'm satisfied so far. Earlier today, I've place another paper assignment with Essay writer, this one is longer (6 pages, the last one was only 2 pages). Now the reason I'm here is that I suspect something unusual occur and I'm worry if my paper is being look at all.

Paper DeadlineFor those of you who's not familiar with the system, when you placed an order on writing service, you are given an access to something called "Customer Control Panel" this is where you can interact with your writer (provided that one picked up your assignment), upload your resources, and most important, track your paper progress. There are 3 stages to a paper that appear as icon to help you track the progress of your paper. The 3 stages are "Pending approval, Writing in Progress, and Fully completed" in sequential order, the icon will light up as your paper get picked up, and when completed, etc.

This is where I suspect a problem occurred. The last time I ordered my paper, my paper stayed in the Pending Approval for a couple of days before the next icon, Writing in progress light up, together with the message that read "There is currently a writer working on your order." However, today, immediately after I placed my order, both the Pending Approval and the Writing in Progress lit up together with the message "There is currently a writer working on your order." I was really happy, but of course I'm kinda worry because it doesn't seem plausible, so like any sensible human, I come to this website and use the search function to search and see if anyone have encounter similar problem, and sure enough, I stumble upon a thread that another user might have encounter something similar. The thread was rather negative so I don't want to necro it and decided to start a new one instead.

The thread is here: Writing and Customer Service

Basically, what the OP in that thread claims is that his essay was automatically assigned to a writer right when he place the order, quote here:

I messaged the supposed writer in charge of writing my order (it was automatically assigned to a writer when I placed the order, so I doubt the writer was even contacted beforehand)

I would have thought the same thing, if not for Freelance Writer, who is apparently knowledgeable about how the system work, claims:

We never get papers "assigned" to us; we have an assignment board that lists available orders and we take any that we want to write.

I hope you guys can now see the problem. Is this a glitch in the system for returning customers of writing service? should I be worry? Because although Freelance Writer claim that writers have to look at an assignment boards that list available order before they take the order, I'm sure mine didn't go through the same process, unless there is a writer that took my assignment milliseconds right after I place my order, which I highly doubt... Anyways, I guess my situation is a little different than the other OP is that my paper deadline is next week, and not tomorrow, so I have a little more time to spare. But if my order was assigned to a phantom writer by a glitch in the system, and no other writers could see it, then I could encounter the same fate at the other OP. Please advise on what I should be doing, obviously I can't cancel the order and place a new one, but I can't say that there's no writer working on mine assignment also since the system say there is one, so I'm kinda stuck in a sticky situation. Should I just wait it out?

Best.

It's pretty competitive: your order probably just got grabbed off the board by a writer the instant after it appeared, which happens all the time. Sometimes there's a delay in billing verification that adds a few hours between payment and board appearance, but once they get posted, they often do get taken in seconds. If it says you have a writer, you can use the messages to contact him/her and ask to confirm. But no assignments are ever "assigned" to us because we always have the option to take or ignore any posted order. If nobody wants it, it will stay visible on the board to any writer who hasn't "hidden" it. (And as I've advised before, the fasted route to getting your paper ignored by as many writers as possible is to place a low-value paper order that says nothing but "4 page Essay...please see emailed files for direction." That means we'd have to keep checking the system resource files just to find out whether the order is even in our areas).

The only possible "glitch" could be if you ever use the "add pages to order" function to any order that has already been completed and sent. That could cause a real problem. That's why that function should only be used to add pages to orders that are still pending.

Thank you for the prompt reply, I did try to contact my writer (just today though), but as you can see from the other thread, the guy also said he tried contacting his also to no available. So I guess all I can do is wait now, I do have more time than him though so I hope my situation will be different. Your reassurances is of great help mentally though, so thanks again.

I'll be back with to update if unexpected things happen. If I don't come back, to everyone who read this thread in the future, you could assume that everything work out alright and I'm a happy camper :)

Use the search box to find help.

"Related: 24 hours to receive an essay... is it possible?

I've been trawling through countless essay writing sites today and was wondering if they actually provide a good service for essays that need to be handed in within 24 hours. Is it really possible?

I'd also be interested in what you view to be a fair price for a 2000 word essay (Hons level 2:1)?

AJ Thanks to who ever change the title of my thread :)
"
I do them all the time but obviously, they're more expensive and it's harder to find someone on short notice, just like any other service industry.

essays that need to be handed in within 24 hours.

Yes, it is possible to get a full multiple page essay submitted to you within 24 hours. However, the quality of the work may be suspect as the rush deadline means the writer only has enough time to create a cleaned up draft for you, not an actual proof read, edited, and QAD inspected essay. When in a rush it is best to hire an individual writer if you can. They normally submit better papers even though the deadline is tight because they know that the quality of their work is of the utmost importance to the client, the prevention of chargeback claims, and creating a repeat client base in that student.

Just because you personally can't do something, Cite, doesn't mean it can't be done. You're like a little kid who plays hide-and-seek by closing their eyes as tightly as possible.

When I was (mainly) an essay company writer, I specialized in rush orders, simply because they paid the most. During the busy season, I would frequently write as many as 3 or 4 or 5 small rush projects in a single night, while I was already working all night on a much larger project with a longer deadline. Typically, I'd be working on one screen with a second screen open to the company assignment board so that I could monitor newly-posted projects and grab them the instant that they showed up. I'd switch gears, write the new project, submit it to the system, and then get back to my larger project.

However, the quality of the work may be suspect as the rush deadline means the writer only has enough time to create a cleaned up draft for you, not an actual proof read, edited, and QAD inspected essay

This is only the case with inexperienced writers, irrespective of whether they're independent or company writers. By the time you've written (literally) thousands of academic essays, you no longer have to write "drafts" and then develop them into "proof read"[sic] copy (ironically, because proofread is one word, not two). Inexperienced writers need to write multiple "drafts" and there's a substantial difference between their first drafts and their final copy. Conversely, experienced writers don't need anybody else to provide "QAD" inspection. When we write anything shorter than roughly 10 pages, we just write the project, maybe let it sit for an hour, and then go over it just to catch any minor mistakes. The difference between our first "drafts" and our final copy is very minor, and it's not because we don't proof them well; it's because our first "drafts" come out >90% as polished as our final copy and without requiring more than very minor changes and/or corrections. This is equally true whether a specific writer is a freelancer or a company writer. The main reason that dealing with an independent writer is safer in that regard is simply that you always know who your writer is, because when you order through a company, your project could get grabbed by any one of hundreds of writers. OTOH, I'd agree that we do tend to be more careful with projects for our direct clients than with company projects, precisely because it's our personal reputation on the line.

Inexperienced writers need to write multiple "drafts" and there's a substantial difference between their first drafts and their final copy.

There are instances when I feel that no matter how perfect the final copy the writer has created is, it is still considered a draft when passing through a company server. They have a QAD department that pretends to examine the paper for quality and plagiarism before it is forwarded to the client. They return the paper to the writer based on their "observations" and "recommendations" sometimes with no time allottment left for the client indicated deadline. Usually the company editors are not good at their jobs and do not even understand the assignment, creating a problem for the writer who ends up submitting not a final copy but rather a "draft" even though the order has been marked as completed. This happens to even the most senior and most seasoned of writers. If they are with a writing company, there is no such thing as a final copy, just "drafts" until the QAD is satisfied or the clients are finally screaming on the board that their paper has not been delivered yet.
The opinions are that of the author's alone based on an individual capacity. Opinions are provided "as is" and are not error-free.

This kind of policy is usually favored by overseas scam companies that keep their writers in fealty through QAD fines. They are generally run poorly by criminal charlatans, and produce nothing of value. Kind of like Cite's litany of vague posts, unproven assertions, and insider poses.
