Seems that person got a rank of 'student above his teacher', huh?
I see no other reasons to be suspected for plagiarism.

A truly experienced academic writer can change his writing style, vocabulary usage, and anything else that the client requires, at the drop of a hat. It is one of the reasons why an academic writer is also known as writing chameleon. He can be a PhD level writer whenever required to do so. He can also be the worst kind of ESL writer if the client demands it. The writing styles can be varied depending upon the client demand. There is nothing that the writer cannot do if he has the experience to do it. Need a writer who can sound like a second grader? No problem, he'll know how to adjust to that need. As the client, you just need to know what kind of paper you need, how it should sound, and what the final product should sound like. If you want to be extra sure that the writer can deliver, it would be best if you submit a writing sample to the writer for reference. That will eliminate the guessing game as to how the paper should "feel" in the end.

Writing StyleAny academic writer worth his salt should be able to change his writing style as required.

That is the whole point of getting instructions from the student for the paper. I for one always required my client to provide me with a copy of his or her writing sample prior to starting my work. That is because I needed to recognize the nuances of the client's writing in terms of grammar presentation and vocabulary usage.

It was my way of making sure that the client would never be suspected of hiring someone to complete the paper for him. It was something that I was happy to do because I learned a lot about how different writing styles seem to have a personality of its own.

Some writers, mostly ESL writers, have only one writing style in their playbook.

They are incapable of writing from a male point of view, a female point of view, a high school student, college student, or MBA student. I believe that this is caused by their lack of familiarity with the English language and their less than proficient writing skills caused by their English language problem. These are the writers who are limited in the types of papers that they can write and normally, do not have a regular client base to speak of.

I'm sorry, but reproducing all of the "nuances" of every client's grammar, vocabulary, and writing style is neither possible nor even desirable in most cases. One of the reasons clients hire professional writers in the first place is that most of them just don't write very well and they want someone capable of providing a much better piece of work than they could possibly produce, themselves. Trust me, they're not spending this kind of money to receive projects that are no better-written than what they could have produced on their own any more than they're spending this kind of money just for model essays that they're going to completely rewrite on their end or cite as references in their own writing. Post-graduates simply expect you to be able to write something better than their best writing at their academic level, and so do undergraduates and high school students and ESL students, and parents who order projects for their kids in grade school, respectively. Frankly, anybody who is comfortable producing high-level writing can easily tone it down to a lower level and take on different perspectives at will; and nobody with dozens of clients has time to read something written by every client, first. Very few clients at any level want to receive anything with all of the same types of writing flaws and mistakes of grammar or vocabulary that they typically make in their own writing. All clients need to do is tell us how "good" they want it for their level and that's exactly what they'll receive.

I'm more concerned that the student didn't review the work that was provided beforehand. If I were to order a paper, the first thing I would do when receiving it is read it. I would know right away whether it reads like something I would write or not. I would then make changes accordingly.

That aside, there are writers (like myself.. and no I am not trying to drum up business, just using myself as an example) who can change their writing style to fit different client needs. Some writers do not offer that type of service, and that is fine. We are all different and do things differently. For the most part, I do try to match my client's writing style when requested (within reasonable limits). By reasonable limits, what I mean is more in line with what @FreelanceWriter said: "All clients need to do is tell us how 'good' they want it for their level and that's exactly what they'll receive." ;)

Oddly, however, it is often more challenging to to write an ESL level paper than a PhD level. Why? Because a native English-speaking PhD level writer will have to spend extra time reviewing what he/she writes--whether along the way or after the writing is complete--and (for lack of a better term) dumb it down. I've had clients ask me to "make this not so smart" and that can be difficult. It takes twice as long, in some cases, to write, stop, read, reread, dumb it down, write some more... the same practice applies when simplifying after the paper is complete. It just takes more time and costs more $.

The writing style will definitely depend on the type of paper the student requires and the English level of the client. Some people may not be aware of this but students and writers automatically change their writing style depending upon the subject being written. It is almost an unconscious thing among writers and students. That is primarily because the professors instruct the students / writers to create the paper in a specific manner. Based on those writing instructions (format, word usage, references, etc.), the student will find his writing automatically changing. A student writing a literary piece for an English class will not sound the same in written form when writing a research paper in biology. To put it bluntly, there are factors to consider when writing a paper and those factors are what affect the writing style of the writer.

Instructions from professors play absolutely no role whatsoever in determining my writing style. I've written everything from grade-school-level essays (ordered by parents) and routine high-school projects to postgraduate dissertations, professional white papers, executive correspondence, grievance letters, patent applications, and commercial promotional materials. Obviously, opinion pieces for high school or freshman-level English Composition are written very differently than heavily-researched postgraduate theses or dissertations; but those differences have nothing to do with writing "styles," nor do specific instructions dictating how to structure projects or individual paragraphs within those projects.

As a professional with roughly 10,000 projects under my belt by now, I'm also quite conscious and deliberate about the writing style I choose to use, based on the type of project, the subject matter involved, and the level of scholarship and appropriate English-proficiency level. Sometimes, that means writing something in perfect and articulate English and in complex sentences, but without a level of analysis that's unrealistic for the level of scholarship; other times, it means writing at a much higher level of scholarship but in deliberately-imperfect English, such as where a highly-educated ESL client with limited English-language proficiency specifically requests something appropriate to the PhD level but written roughly at the same writing level as his or her proposal or outline or writing sample. About the only time I write anything for work without conscious attention to my writing style is where the client tells me to "just do your best" and/or "don't hold back from your best." I always ask about that if the client doesn't specify, because something that I write in a way that might be perfectly natural for me and perfectly appropriate for high-level students might not be suitable at all for many of my clients, especially if their own writing level is ESL.

One of the advantages of hiring a human writer instead of relying on Ai to write your essay is that a human writer can vary his writing style, tone, and presentation. It can be tailored to the needs of the client in a way that reflects his own writing abilities. While AI can be prompted to write an essay, it cannot be prompted to write like a high school student, a college student, a masters student, or a PhD candidate. You will never have different writing styles coming out of an AI writer because there is no way to prompt the writing style in the program.
The opinions are that of the author's alone based on an individual capacity. Opinions are provided "as is" and are not error-free.
