Why do students use essay writing companies?

It's none of my business why anybody needs my services. Once my customers receive my work, it's also entirely up to them what they do with it because they own it.

I believe that there are some students who do not use the actual paper as provided. There are some who order a paper listing relevant sources that can be used in the paper he will actually be writing. Other, also find it easier to write a paper once they have a copy to use as a writing and information standard. There are more unique reasons for using essay writing companies than we think. It isn't always abouta personal situation, lack of time, or disinterest. Those are just the reasons we have come to most commonly hear about. Whatever the reason of the student, he must make sure that he lives a legitimate service regardless of type.

I believe that 99% of students who search for an academic writer or essay company and that 99% of students who find this forum are specifically looking for papers that can be safely submitted for credit and receive high marks.


If all they need is "relevant sources" for their own work, why would they need to pay for an entire 10 or 15-page original custom essay? They could simply place an order for however many relevant sources they need, and at a much lower cost.


If all they need is a model of good writing and information standards, why wouldn't they just ask their professors or writing labs at their schools for appropriate samples; and why would they pay a premium for custom-written work that's entirely original?


Yes, it's essentially, always about personal situations, lack of time, or disinterest. Another fairly common reason is that they want an essay that is better than the essay that they could write in the same amount of time, often, because of all of the other demands on their time. In fact, more than a few of my clients provide me with all of the details about their personal situations for needing my services, to which I respond by reassuring them that they don't need to explain any of that to me, because I'm not judging them.


And exactly why do you suppose that might be? Usually, when people conceal what their real reasons are for doing whatever they do, they conceal what they might feel guilty about and what might be in their best interest to conceal and they disclose something more innocent, not vice-versa: I highly doubt that there are any students who intend to rewrite their expensive custom original papers completely and use them only as "models" and/or just for their "relevant sources," while coming to forums such as this one saying that they're looking for original writing that will pass plagiarism scanners.If anything, it's students who fully intend to submit their purchased essays for credit who sometimes feel more comfortable saying that they're only interested in using them as models and/or for relevant sources.

UK students in particular, beware of someone who encourages cheating. FW openly and proudly breaks the recent legislation which prohibits the very behaviour advocated by him.

@a1writer it is people like him who encourage cheating within the non- classroom setting that have contributed to the demise of the U.S. educational system. Their students have become too lazy to actually put in the extra hours and effort to learn outside the classroom via research and essays. Their students fail to learn because they do not know how to learn. Too many paid educational services and assistants / writers around. I do not care how busy you are, you either have the time to properly study, even after work hours, or you do not study at all.

Paying someone to complete the work and you getting a grade for it does not improve your skills nor knowledge. You will eventually be found out at work to the detriment of your job. Why? You got the grade without ever reading the paper. You never learned the lesson the assigned work was teaching.

The paid writer should at least encourage the student to read the paper and write his own version if possible so that he will learn something in the process. Then the money paid to the writer would have been worth it.

Whether the student does it or not is none of our business but, as an informal part of the educational system, shouldn't we at least try to encourage learning on our part? Shouldn't we be part of the solution rather than a part of the problem?

A student who only cares about meeting course requirements through the use of paid services, regardless of global location cannot be a good employee nor good business person. That is why a paid writer should care. We are helping build the student's future and the future of our country / world. Encouraging cheating does not help do that. I hope the UK never falls into the same educational trap that the U.S. students have fallen into.
