How? by attacking and blowing a billion fuses? Essay for School may be a personal and touchy subject where you are concerned but not for me. Another academic research website did secure a site stoppage order against HES which, according to court docs.

Go to Westlaw and check it out. There are countless articles on the case. HES was not able to secure a site stoppage order against research site but it was able to do so. Why argue facts? I am affiliated with neither and never had dealings with either ... one way or another, I really do not care. Am just stating the facts

What I am saying is really very simple. A little while ago I launched my own company (all-round academic help centre, including tutoring). I joined this forum because I want to know what it is that writers want (and, of course, customers) so I can provide it. I want to make sure that all our writers are treated fairly and honestly. That's why I joined this forum - to learn from you guys. I think that you'll agree that discussions tend to veer off-topic and what is supposed to be a civilized debate or exchange of ideas often turns into personal attacks ....

I joined this board because I mistakenly thought that you guys were doing something constructive here - giving writers and students a forum to express constructive criticism. Considering that Academia-Research writers are often told that their payment for one order or another could not be processed as the company had to refund the customer, I think it is fair to ask this question of all Masterpapers, Capitalessays, ma-dissertation and customessays.co.uk customers: When you request refunds, do you receive them and if so, are they for the full amount paid (as the company tells its writers)?

Despite the name, I am not affiliated in any way with Oxbridge Essays. They are not honest and their writers are not qualified to write at high school, let alone university, level. Stay away from them ...

You have to conduct your own investigation but, as a general rule, you can distinguish the frauds from the honest few by
1) reading through their website ... is it well-written or are there grammar and language issues?
2) call them and listen to the accent on the other end of the line ... if it's foreign, stay away
3) how much do they charge per page? if under 17 or 20, stay away. Writers generally get 30 to 40 percent of what you pay (scammers pay less). would any qualified writer do the work for 5 or 6 dollars?

It is easy to evaluate the websites if you put in the effort :)

Stay away from premium-papers. They do not check writers' qualifications prior to hiring them, never check for plagiarism and, in general, are incapable of giving you anything other than shoddy work (assuming that they deliver your order)

An interesting investigation! What people - both students and writers - need to understand is that any website which hides behind a false identity has something to hide. If they are upfront and honest, why don't they just say who they are? From my point of view, the students and writers who affiliate themselves with these websites are `enablers.'

Do your homework by carefully researching a custom writing site before you hand them your money.

I used to work with Academia-Research. Do not go anywhere near them. They are nothing short of a scam operation. Just want to clarify that I am not a disgruntled writer but was one of their top rated writers, having earned over 500 reward points from satisfied customers in under one year. In the end, I had enough and resigned. They underpay writers and scam both writers and customers. Stay away from them.

I know have my own company and the 1 lesson I learnt from Academia-Research is never to treat writers as they did and continue to do. I consider writers the backbone of our company and always fairly compensate them. During the low season, we even put top writers on a salary so they wouldn't suffer the market slump :)

Just my two cents here but I tend to agree with WritersBeware. Before anyone accuses me of being affiliated with any of the websites in question, just want to tell you that I own and operate a company affiliated with none of the mentioned. I just do not see the point in calling a piece of writing which is good, bad. What purpose does that serve? WritersBeware is right.

One thing I know is that we never treat our customers that way. Wouldn't want our name appearing on any negative posts. Generally speaking, if we can't do a piece of work we inform customers before they make payment :)

2 weeks is the general rule. we, however, sometimes make exceptions. Provided that the Quality Control Department approves the piece, we will pay writers asap :)

it hasn't really changed - just a tax scam. if you go through their records you'll find that the first company was dissolved and then another company stepped in - however, the owner in both cases is thesame ukranian guy
