Actually, having read many of WBs previous posts, I have to agree with Lavinia that WB is probably the only member on here who talks sense regardless of her style of writing. My previous mistake was that i had only read a minority of WBs recent posts and I jumped to the wrong conclusion. So WB has my full respect regardless of whether the feeling is mutual or not.

In a thread entitled 'Honest Writing Companies', a member called Shahida enquired about HIRING companies. So why did you feel the urge to disclose the following:

"I can give you the name of a company, thewritinghelp.com. It is a very small unknown writing place. But you cannot get a job here. They are only four academics and they do all kinds of writing, not just student writing. They refuse to hire anyone else. I do some occasional marketing for them. But no point approaching them. Is this not advertising? Why mention a company's name?

Why would anyone want to study post grad? It's crazy. I'll be earning 60k this year and it's going to only be my 2nd year at the job (graduated summer 07). Once you've graduated you should just go into a graduate scheme with a reputable firm.
