It's "any more." The more worked up you get, the more you revert to the hills. You're not a very good writer, you know.

I don't believe that you have any friends who work at unemployedprofessors. I don't believe that you will call them, or that they will post here.

As to your attributing some sort of mercenary reason for my being here, I believe that's a matter of your being unable to, as they say, see past your own chin.

I guess that's a "no" on the cavalry... again.

And again: what competition? I have no commercial purpose here.

I think I talked to these people a few years ago, and they were not what they seemed on their website. I am looking into it more, though, so I posted the above question.

This little lesson in the difference between a question and an accusation is part of a major ongoing schooling you're getting here. One would think you would act like less of a twit, with all of these free lessons you're getting.

Called a big-mouth, the Dr.'s response is to write a rambling, 2-post book of a defense. Are your essays that all over the place? Aren't you busy?

I do have more experience than you, and you should be embarrassed. The more you call something illusory obvious, the more you will continue to look foolish.

Right, your posting hearsay is much better than my asking questions.

Here are some answers to your questions: I don't view any company as a competitor; I am an individual writer. Companies are either potential employers or ex-employers to me. I have a gut feeling that unemployedprofessors falls into the latter category, which is why I am asking questions about them. I have worked for a lot of people in this industry, and sometimes they have had different names.

Something about the site rings a bell, and it stinks, as far as I'm concerned, that they're advertising here at all-- when 8/8 of the last ads were for scams. I never claimed those threads constituted proof. I posted the threads to background my open question. I am still working on the answer myself.

Instead of going around assuming you know everything, you should try asking some questions. There are a lot of people on this forum who are exponentially more experienced in this industry than you are. If I were a noob who didn't even know enough not to promise grades, I would view that as a resource, not a series of targets for my "internet bigmouth" problem.

In addition to having no bearing on anything here, that's none of your business.

If you actually read my posts, you'd see that I'm more interested in protecting writers than students... present company excluded.

I'd imagine students generally get scammed because of a combination of idiocy, inexperience, and the supposition that they already know everything. Sound familiar?

What are you, going for a self-fulfilling prophecy? I hate to burst your bubble, ace, but just as I was here long before you washed up, I will be here long after you again float away.

Isn't working, you mean? Well, opinions are like a#$holes, as they say. Have a nice day.

I'm not here to remind you of the shifting sands of your goals, you delusional twit.

If you read any of my posts, you'd know that I have the same consternation with the mods for allowing scam ads to go up as I do for the scammers who put them there.

As for kicks, I demolish fools like you for fun, while taking breaks. Don't you remember your original goal to take over the forum? I can forgive you that, seeing as how you've had many failed goals here, but that was among the first few... along with getting clients and then directing traffic to your competing forum. If there's a recipe for falsehood here, it starts with that... compare it with me joining ten years ago in order to flame WB and post testimony against essaywriter.net. I never had any commercial goals here. You're riding now, as you've always been, on a constantly-shifting set of self-serving lies. No wonder you can't remember your own aspirations.

Sorry, Dr. Perfect, but I have no stake here. Although I have lied to put bread on my table, I don't do it just for kicks.

This place is kicks to me, dip##it, and if anything's antithetical to honesty here, it's ridiculous aspirations like yours-- to "rule the forum" and turn it into your personal piggy-bank. Disgusting.

That's what everyone but gods do, dips*it. Welcome to the human condition.

Don't take this as a compliment, doc, but you're not a troll. I'm not sure what kind of creature you are-- something that absorbs other creatures' experiences and then vomits them out, all the while acting both chippy and smug. It's annoying, but it isn't grounds for a ban of your IP... nor am I calling for one.

My word can be amended to suit new circumstances. While we're on reminders, has essayscam sent you your check yet?

Soon after your aggressive, blatantly commercial attempted takeover/entry into these muddied waters, you accused me of being BS, accepting money for posting, and having ulterior motives (all with no evidence, as is usual for you). I guess that's what passes for civil in your neck of the woods.

Personal attacks are fine, as long as you also at least attempt to add something of substance about the industry. If personal attacks become all you do, though, you shouldn't be here, and the mods will be doing everyone (including you) a favor by kicking you to the curb.

Thanks for taking down the ad. In return for the embarrassment I've saved you in this thread alone, can I suggest that you also start banning trolls? It's just food for thought. The "random posts" thread is a great idea for when things get out of hand, but why not save yourselves the headache re: chronic abusers? Posters who do nothing but attack others and add nothing substantive should be warned twice and banned. Other forums do it; why not this one?

I'm going to stop responding to your bait now. I'm done with the playground insults and weird English. For whatever reason, you are an emotionally bitter, immature, intentional troll. The mods won't ban your IP, although they may come to their senses eventually. You're obviously a waste of time-- there's no need for me to exhaust myself pointing it out ad nauseam. Good luck getting other posters to pay attention. I'm done recognizing your existence, because all that has done is empower you. If completely starved of the attention you crave, I believe you will eventually wander away, so I urge others to ignore you, as well. Don't bother responding-- there will be no reply. Goodbye, Team Stupid.

It seems to me that you can't make up your mind about which false position to front.

And the answer, diphit, is that no, I don't make $80/hour, just like any other writer who is not delusional and realizes that the industry standard is per page, not per hour.
editor75
Jan 27, 2015

It's easy to argue about, because standards differ. If you Google it, the answer comes up 250; if you actually work, 275-300 seems to be more the norm. I'm basing that on three major US mills. The industry standard isn't for one website (or one petty voice in the wilderness) to determine.

Nice play by play, lunatic. I'm trying to conceptualize how anyone can lionize the industry's scammers, degrade its customers, and brag about their self-proclaimed ethical principles, all in the same post.

Of course, as a professional working for multiple companies, any sort of scam I try to pull re: content will likely get me fired. I don't expect you to listen to logic, though, especially after that ramble above. If you ask me, you clowns sound like cheap, short-term hustlers trying to justify your actions by blaming and dehumanizing your targets. It's a classic move, and very transparent.
