Here's a second user review for you. I commissioned an assignment with Steven almost 2 weeks ago, which he said would be completed within a few days. I paid 50% deposit straight into his bank account on this basis. No work has been provided thus far and its been one excuse after the other (when he actually does respond to an email). I've been sending emails chasing this up to both his email addresses steall1984@outlook steven@the-freelancer.co.uk. The last communication he sent, I was to receive the work last night and alas, even after chasing up again yesterday night, still no response this morning. Like you mentioned, I assumed being a recommended and active member on essaychat even with his professional website, I could at least expect some professionalism. So far, I have been highly disappointed.
Will update once I either receive the work or a refund.
